I can't wait untill October to see Fuki with Unlucky Morpheus play in London @ Metal Matsuri along with Mary's Blood + others :) I think one of things that makes Japanese metal different is that the music industry in Japan left the metal bands alone untill they got popular. The Japanese music tends to stay with what makes lots of money so seem to stay mostly with J-pop or more traditional style stuff. So that allowed Japanese metal to do what they wanted, with out the music industry saying you can't do that it's not popular or we think you should be doing this.
Amazing virtuoso performances, as expected. Fuki though, she just brings everything to a very special level. Her tone and talent are an amazing combination, and like Paz said we are so lucky she ended up doing metal.
@@chazhartwayne6493 I understand what you mean, however that is quite typical in Japan, you can find many examples of singers doing that, it´s a style choice not a shortcoming on her behalf on hitting those high notes. I like it, because from all her work I never heard her doing this before, and even though it´s different for her, I like it and fits the song in my opinion.
Great video guys, I especially enjoyed the skill displayed and melody of that first guitar solo! Question for you both, but primarily for Hedgy (since I know he spends time at a desk, for work). What kind of music do you listen to at your work place?...since I doubt it's this stuff that we all enjoy so much! :-)
I'm.not actually working at the moment but when i do i do a job that doesn't have any music in the background. If there was a radio on I'd end up smashing it
Ha, I'm not too surprised at that, funny though! I am fortunate to be able to stream Pandora for my long shifts, but have to do it in a very respectful way. Thanks for the reply! atb @@PNW
Fuki is music for life. A Facebook user has posted the Eighty, 8 0, releases that she’s been on in approximately 10 years, including many anime numbers... I think she’s free this weekend tho, let’s get her down to an open mic pub 🎤 💃💥😎
Kind of a long answer to this one. Most of the time I just put it up and see what happens, there are obvious ones to avoid like Babymetal but even they just block it, they don't copyright strike you. It is a bit of a lottery and if I suspect I'm going to have a problem then I can upload it to a different account and see what happens before I use it but I rarely bother. Most of my videos are claimed for copyright but it doesn't affect them being used. I don't monetise this channel so I don't care about copyright claims.
There is no denying Fuki's vocal prowess. In that aspect, she's a freak. A human should not have that range and power. That said, I'm just not a tremendous fan. Nothing against her. I have nothing but respect for her. It's because I am not a fan of that classic exaggerated Asian vibrato on steroids. And this is coming from someone accused of being Trans-Asian.... an Asian man trapped in a white man's body. :) Maybe it comes from all those nights sitting in a strangers home (or bed) after trying to drink the country dry with the Korean or Japanese version of Lawrence Welk on the TV or Radio. I mean.... come on. This stuff will cause such a reaction. th-cam.com/video/ssc5eLjLoMQ/w-d-xo.html&t=1h50m44s ... and that's the "rocking" version. :) The slow version would make a Walrus on a case of viagra limp.
Vocals far over the top in my humble opinion. A little overproduced and that's a shame cause the arrangements were there to make it something epic. The guitarist shows some skills. I mention it once again now you're a complete team again, Allegaeon has dropped a new single. Stellar tidal disruption😊
The King and the Queen.
agree
Fuki is a member of "Doll$ Box" & "Unlucky Morpheus"💕
She is gonna release her solo album this spring☺⤴
Awesome song on every level. Cheers dudes.

Fuki does no wrong. What a tremendous voice.
Eh gotta say the twisting screams are kinda Eh~. Would have preferd if she would have kept the notes.

@@JohnPMatias16 so far i have never experienced that style in japanese Metall but to each their own I guess.
@@chazhartwayne6493 that's vibrato technique it's a rather a difficult technique to pull of yet fuki does it with total ease

HI! I like your videos, if you can make a video reacting to "Galneryus - gr metal" it's a song without vocals and all members make a great solos !

I have all but six of those releases. She's amazing. My favorite vocalist, bar none.
Ha!, I bet I was talking about you?! Now get back to work to earn those last six ;)
It might have been me. I seem to have an issue with keeping my Fuki fandom quiet... :-)
Hi, great reactions and analysis. If you dont mind me asking, how you do avoid getting copyright blocked on these kinds of videos? Thanks
