Yep, this is music you listen to while you're doing the dishes, waiting on the espresso pot to boil and looking out the window thinking, "Those rhododendrons need pruning again." Cheers Hedgy.
btw. Emboldened by a couple of other lucky contestants recently, I'm going to make a request : German goth/folk metal band Thanateros with ' The Banshees of Kealkill." (think Faun and Lyrre) Cheers guvna.
After watching your video, I did a little research. I read this band are from Essex, do they get many dragons in Essex? In all seriousness, songs of dragons and sword fighting are usually cool fantasy themes. These themes make me think of Polina Psycheya dressed in her armour with her sword. This track does not make me think of this. I think this is good and very well done. However, this is not for me, I prefer something more edgy, and less poppy. I can imagine this track will be popular and maybe this is what the band are going for. The band are on Scarlet Records (an Italian record label).
I can't remember not having commented on a song. Oh wait.... No, this is lame from me, but you were right in your opinion, I think. It's not for me at least. Cheers.
You're obviously listening to it wrong and it's probably too fast for you. ;) hehe In context in the album it works a lot better, but stand alone it is a bit weak tea and a bit too poppy. I am all for uplifting metal but this track crosses a line for me. Still, it sounded great live when I saw them back in November and the guitar solo is cool.
