    I've done a bunch of research on raptor liner and I'm thinking I'll shoot the frame and underside of the body as a final protective layer and to give everything a more uniform texture! What are your thoughts?

      the inside of frame is the main problem make sure it has drain holes anywhere it could hold water .. spray on liners need the correct prep work or it will chip off do more research before you decide.. i have seen several vidios on how to treat the inside of frame some clean paint , so if you plan on long tearm protection look at what other people have done some work ans some fail research please that jeep could be worth a ton of money if done correctly and kept original drive train

      Ok sounds good! I plan on drilling those holes and shooting POR15 inside all of the frame rails with a special gun / rubber hose 360 degree nozzle I got. Should seal it well (if the paint gun works as intended haha) And as of now I plan on keeping the engine/trans/tc

    the main problem with unnleaded fuel is led protected the heads and valves so aluminem heads could save future problems

    • @NickDowner
      @NickDowner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ooo good to know. I always wondered why older cars required leaded fuel

    How did you manage to get the por 15 off your face?

    • @NickDowner
      @NickDowner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha now there is the golden question 😂 surprisingly with a little rubbing alcohol it came right off! The same can't be said for the por15 on my legs though hahah thanks for watching Thomas!

      Ken probably knows way more about Jeeps than me :) But another thing to check is your carburetor tune/setup. I've heard poorly setup carbs (or broken ones) can lead to terrible gas mileage.... that said, I'm sure old Jeeps have horrible mileage in general haha

    Aren’t you supposed to use metal prep before putting por 15

    • @NickDowner
      @NickDowner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I believe you're correct! Something that promotes adhesion to bare metal i think. I didn't have any on hand so we'll see how it turns out. Thanks for watching!
