Only three events remaining in this year's Nick Symmonds Track Classic! Shot Put is next week, followed by 1 Mile and 5,000m. Which event(s) will I see you at?? Full schedule + details here: instagram.com/nicksymmonds
She's a heel striker, she needs to land forefoot. She'd be even faster and prevent injury that way. Also her arm swing is too low. It'd be better to keep your hands close to your heart like east African runners. She's an extremely talented girl. She'd be even better if she could improve her form a bit
It makes me happy to see you still spreading the love of running with the next generation (and some masters)! You were my 800m idol as a high schooler. Keep having fun!
These vids bring me so much joy. I worked my butt off throughout covid for track season but 2 weeks into track I got injured. It almost feels like I'm actually running while watching these vids :)
the fact that she wasn't even phased, im sure she was tired but she didn't show it, she gonna be even more phenomenal in high school especially with those splits
im one of the only sit and kick runners at my school. Watching your videos hels me a lot by helping my strategy, and ive been able to run really fast times useing these tactics
Glad to see that someone finally has made it from Utah out to a Nick Symmonds Track Classic! I from Utah as well and I'd love to be able to come someday!
@@akositooot20 The reason he can't take the money is because if he does he's technically getting paid to run. Getting paid to run is being a professional athlete according to colleges. So taking it means he's a pro, and therefore can't attend college because pro's can't compete in college. Sorry for the bad grammar and or sentence structure. Didn't go to college cause I took the one hundo 😢
As a fellow Nick (and I know you're not a fan of all the financial restrictions) I have to say that the only thing that diminishes my enjoyment of these videos is seeing talented kids and being worried they'll harm their eligibility. If you made a video discussing that, maybe even discussing what is terrible about it, it would make the adult in me feel better and allow me to enjoy the amazing performances some of these kiddos are putting on here.
This is true I think I would've loved it. I'm not quite a mid distance runner or even long distance its weird. I'm like right towards the high-end of mid distance. I'd love to have run the 1k and 800m instead of the 16.
Good job, Nick. I always enjoy your videos for the fun atmosphere and the racing and training tips. I like how you're commentating on the race too. Dwight Stones, watch out! Track and field is starving for a more professional, centralized source of information like what the NBA, NFL, and MLB have. At the moment, it takes forever to find races, see world rankings, and get results. Jeez, it's 2021.
I know it may not be possible with the way the world is right now, but I'd love to see you race Rudisha again over 800, I want to see you get revenge from the Olympics where he set the world record.

Kylua and Ben got a really nice running form. They look feathery on their feet. Sheesh the young talent at these events
kylua's form might look "feathery" but its not very... efficient. either way she is a strong runner though.
Exactly Ian Garza
I like how both siblings won both races
There probably sponsored..

"Can Ashley catch her? Ashley's not too far behind."
...wins by 30 seconds 🤣
Thinking the exact same thing 😂
Well he's trying to build suspense somehow.
Only went through the 800m 17 seconds down. But apparently that's only 20 to 30 metres
he got me with that too LOL
As soon as he said that I started laughing😂 nobody in the world is catching that
2.35 is so freaking impressive. Ben deserves some respect....
Props to the parents getting their kids out there and also competing along with them. Great parents and great kids
Makes me happy to see so many people having fun participating in the sport that I love. Nick you're a legend for all of it.
Kailua is 7th in the nation for middle school 800, wow
Omg really .you can tell she isn't even out of breath.i ran with people who needed oxygen running hard at the 800 😄
I went to the same running camp she did
And I met ben
Wow. Props
@@mcgee1933 was she the fastest person ?
Best part of the video was when the cameraman won 100 dollars!
Yes his skill makes these videos worth watching along with nicks commentary.
Tom is honestly a new fan favorite we all love Tom he's so wholesome and pretty damn fast for a 40 year old
Yes

Welcome to sad
The community that nick lives in seems to be a fun community to live with. Nice town and people who loves doing sports

Love that you are putting these events on for anyone to join. Great job in the race and I respect your kindness!
High quality, great host, good content, community involvement. This man does it all???
William and Bethany are legends

Love your videos, when I found you, i just cannot stop watching
Thank you for watching!!
What a coincidence. I ran an 800m the day before you uploaded the 800m event and now again, I ran a 1000m yesterday.
Sounds like Nick is stealing all your training events.
I think Tom and his family should get something special they've been at all events as one family
Beni and Kailua just too strong
respect Ben he knew the real winner was the camera-man. its always the camera-guy that goes way faster than the elites
Damn you got a power sibling couple there
Ryan the cameraman is a BEAST. love the drone footage. You’re awesome man keep up the hard work. You’ll go far!
Ashton truly giving it everything he's got, love it
I was waiting to watch this and I just got the notification. Also I set a new pr in long jump at the tri!!!

Ben's 800m split was my high school pr that I fought hard for. Way to go!
Can't wait for shot put, you guys should also do discus.

14:15 wow what a humble and generous young man! That was so kind of him to pay the camera man🥺💕
The sudden pickup of pace at the last 50m by charis was actually pretty impressive
Man every week i come back to another one of these videos and every week i cant believe how good some of these people are :D
Ben is a monster on the track! Do you see a future in professional running for him?
Yes. If he's really 16 and already pushing 2:30 for a km, he has the talent needed.
The video production + Nick announcing makes a race I otherwise don't care about, interesting.
All these duo siblings are so inspirational
Only you tube channel I'm watching regularly, I just did my 400m pb today in 50.86 I'm gonna go under 50 soon nick!!
Nick's still got the lethal kick at 37! Great job

While I understand the spirit of the rule, I think its a really stupid rule for an event like this.
not anymore tho!!!!
I was waiting for this video thanks soooo much nick
You are a real inspiration for me to start running
Gym is starting to show Nick, looking fit! Love your videos, keep up the good work.
Luke : I'm 5 yrs old

Surprises me that people aren't flooding the track when you're organizing these!
