@@Meskwe Took care of my mental health, got rid of my horrible and time-consuming job (reason for the mental health issues), changed my diet (calorie counting, stopped eating food with sugar, started eating low carb, more veggies and less meat, and started intermittent fasting), and used my spare time to move more. Oh, and I still eat things I enjoy, but only sometimes and in moderation

I mean i'll agree that some people live for the drama & they tune in to see how messy & problematic things get, and both Chantelle & Amberlyn get viewers especially when they do and say dumb things . But if Charlie's only content is to react to the same 2 women then that really is a nightmare obsession. Charlie should mix up her channel and either react to other people or do a weight journey video vlog herself , but we all know that won't be happening.

The gag is Charlie looks larger than last year to me. I used to follow her until I realized it was a "im not looking in the mirror" issue. I liked her channel because I believed she was trying to give tough love to someone like her but I realized she's one of those fat girls that doesn't see herself in other fat women. I cannot with fat women that do this. We all fat, you cant shade another fat girl because your fat is shaped differently. Fat girl to fat girl its not cute. Its giving hypocritical! I'll admit I got sucked into the Haydurverse. BUUUUT, I came to realize "what the hell is the point?". Like seriously, what difference does it make? It doesn't have a hope in the world of changing the girls minds nor does it truly inspire anyone. The girls only motivate people the way threats of Hell motivate morality in some. Its fear based and not true inspiration. So ultimately, I repeat, "What the hell is the point?". I have so much better shit to make content on. Like my beautiful home area that I vlog on walks and all the art I make or some of the cool recipes I whip up. And those things actually help people by being visually pleasing or even informative.
I think it is OK to criticize once or twice, but criticizing/hating EVERY DAY is obsessive and shows the flaws of those obsessive people who need more urgent help than Amber.
I only watched to feel better about myself and that's it. I've since started avoiding it since I don't believe in that behavior. More ppl need to realize this.. hating on someone doesn't do anything for anybody.
I do have (a little) hope they'll change eventually. I've seen people turn their lives around before and it truly would be a sight to see...

Cherry Berry "Weightloss" bothers me too. I never watched her because her voice and the valley girl way she speaks irritates me so much, it's like nails on a chalkboard. But I caught enough to learn that she started out like Charlie, criticising them while talking about being on her own weight loss journey. Sneering at the meals Amber or Chantal prepared, and accusing them of lying when they did a "what I eat in a day" video and not showing all of it - yet doing exactly the same herself.
She's just as big as she was when she started, well over 300lbs, still knocking them, but removed "weightloss" from her channel name and hasn't addressed that she hasn't followed through on anything herself. She hasn't shown what she *really* eats to stay at her size, so her "what I eat in a day" videos are also lies. So much hypocrisy! She's due for a dragging.

I recently saw a live stream Charlie Gold vid , and the baffling thing is she went into a mini story time about a few experiences in her life/ at work with difficult customers etc . She finished by saying "ohh i have stories for days" , so i'm thinking why doesn't she put her energy into THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS???. Even some of her audience were like ' oooh storytime' , so they'd probably want it.
She also went into a gossip about "twitter celebrity beef" , and again she mentioned something along the lines of how she 'could talk about this type of stuff', then she was like "anyway lets get back to chantelle" 🤦♀ .
So i just roll my eyes thinking , then why is the focus entirely on Chantelle & Amberlyn ?🙄🤡. Think how much more interesting it would be if she mixed it up a bit and did either story times, diet vlogs or talked about celebrity twitter gossip , the latter one isn't my fav topic but it would still draw people in because it would be something something different on her channel.

I mean, I get a strong suspicion that she's actually a very sweet person, but she's kind of dug herself into this hole that is "her brand," and she has no idea how to be "real," online, anymore. At this point, she's a total grifter, but I also kind of sense that maybe she doesn't want to be, anymore.
I mean, people have shown proof that the last video where she took a "Political Compass quiz," she poorly edited the results to seem, to her audience, that she scored as Centre-Right. Unfortunately, she did a poor job, in that she left the original URL visible, showing that she's actually on the more-progressive side of Centre-Left. Either she did a very sloppy edit to keep to her own self-imposed deadline, and was simply careless, OR something-something, subconscious cry for help. I think both possibilities are equally viable, IYAM. 🤷🏻♂️
Anyway, I don't think she's a bad person, off-line -I get the impression that she's actually a very sweet person, in private, and her public persona is a character she created but at some point, she kind of lost control of her own creation. Basically, I think she's dug herself into a hole, regarding her public image, and she currently has no idea what she's doing, but rather than ask for help, or accept it when it's been offered to her, she just keeps digging.
She's the only one who can decide when she's done, and thus she's the only one who can ask for someone to toss her the end of a rope.

@@ellamayo9619 oh yeah. I can't point to any one thing that brought me to this conclusion, but it's more about the ways that she is a bit more open about her mental health issues, on her Blaire Black channel. She still keeps the details guarded, so it's these little hints dropped here and there.
Like, if that was part of the grift, it would not only be one of those things she'd likely go into more detail about, but she'd also more aggressively plug her second channel, which has barely a quarter the audience that her main channel has.

Her and Michael B Petty were always nasty nasty nasty. I watched her when she first came on the scene, but she quickly stopped talking about Amberlynn's lies and manipulation and started insulting Amberlynn's weight and looks...over an over and over. Same with MBP, although I don't think he was ever not nasty.
I only ever truly liked Zach. Who admittedly did cross the line sometimes, but I felt for the most part he didn't mention their weight or looks negatively, at least to my knowledge. And as soon as ALR got her diagnosis, he stopped (for a long while). He read the room and didn't pile on. Charlie had no such class.

Yeah, I've been working of giving criticism or opposing opinions about the girls, without attacking the low hanging fruit of appearance or physical issues. I'll admit that I've come after all of them in inappropriate and vulgar ways, but ultimately I don't like being that person. I don't ever want to express myself the way Charlie does. I used to be a part of Haydur Nation on my weight loss channel (not this one). I miss the old gang: Rose is Ranting, Pixaley, etc. It was a very strange time when we used to be devoted fans and supporters of Charlie, and then things just got...uglier and uglier with her. A lot of the other creators left TH-cam, the drama and backstabbing was just too much to deal with. I've been so deeply disappointed in Charlie myself. I really, really looked up to her and supported her at first. I remember when her channel had like 7K subs, and it was growing very slowly, but I found her and was cheering her on, and she seemed so genuine and kind and humble.
So sad.
and she's back to her practice her trying to change is a short live experience to avoid backlash
