    Now I understand more why he is so a fascinating photographer. I mean I love his work, definitely outstanding, but to hear more from him directly all the insides makes him and his work much more interesting, and that's why he also is in the biggest galleries! Inspiring since years. Thanks for all that, made a lot of notes.

    Great interview. The BTS really helped in understanding his mindset and process. Loved the Norman Rockwell meets Norman Bates line.

    What's with all the masks? Was this shot during Covid?

      Yes. The BTS was shot at the end of Covid in western New England.

    When Gregory went to digital, I did not know. When I saw the images for the first time, I was shocked. I thought it was a cheap imitation or someone had copied his work. Gone was the magical quality of painterly work. Too Sad.... The best way I can describe it is like seeing AI generated images of Edward Hoppers paintings.

    He looks peckish
