- In this video, we vlog our trip to Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday, November 12th, where the park celebrated Veterans Weekend with plenty of American decorations and free admission for Veterans! While walking around the park, we also noticed some work being done on El Toro!

While editing the video, I accidentally played music over the El Toro part of the video (during the ride on Skyway), but missing track can be seen at the bottom of the first drop, hopefully meaning a retrack is coming!
I think a retrack was potentially already planned. If you look at the timeline El Toro was about the same age as Colossus (Heide Park) when it started having issues. While Colossus was closed as it waited for new track, Six Flags choose to keep El Toro open as they waited for the track to be manufactured. (Colossus was closed nearly three years). I think Six flags has been replacing the track as it becomes available. The derailment was just an unfortunate side effect in choosing to keep the ride running. The incident in 2022 I believe was a result of the derailment as the last car was dragged around fishtailing I think it put unintended stress on parks of the structure as the weight was shifting in a way it wasn’t designed.
Definitely a possibility
If the rumors are true about nitros named being changed then I would suggest everyone to get the merchandise before the name changes

@@maniac1628 great adventure has knoen for a while that nitro needs a repaint. Since everybody crapped on nitros paint scheme, they decided to just retheme the ride and change the colors all together.

Was at the park yesterday, the place was completely dead. Even with 1 train ops the ride operators were struggling to fill trains

What was the update on el toro sorry I missed it.
I accidentally had it muted (music playing over it), but while we were on the skyway, you could see track gone from the bottom of El Toro’s first drop
I'm surprised it took you guys this long to find out. It's been removed for a month and a half. It looked like they had put new track on the return trip because there was a lot of plastic on it. I wonder whats going on with the hot air balloons. I hated that ride, so I hope its getting removed permanently 😂

I was there yesterday too, it was a great day with perfect lines and weather, a little disappointed that the whole golden kingdom is closed, but it has to be done.
