True, but I’ve been seeing people saying that this also ruined the park’s 50th anniversary also other than pushing back Flash’s opening year to 2025. It’s really sad that the park received so much hate because of how their anniversary turned out to be atrociously bad
@@edt-ze3ke it’s been a rough year but I don’t get people being soooo upset. The park is receiving a ton of improvements that needed to happen for years now. I’m glad there doing it now, they just took on to much for one year but I’m sure future years it’ll get better and better with the improvements 🤞🏼
@@edt-ze3ke What I don’t get is the number of people upset about flash. Like yeah I get it they promised 2024, but when a company freezes their assets for multiple weeks to merge with another company, construction can’t go further until the merger was completed. I was 100% expecting this to happen and it’s really sad to see the people who have no clue what really goes on and how corporations really work.
@@vrryan6 Exactly, some people were even upset that the park didn’t say and also wasn’t honest on why they pushed back Flash’s opening to 2025. The reason I say that because SFOG stated that supply and construction challenges along with permitting issues was the reason why they pushed back their supposed to be 2024 coaster GA Surfer to 2025.
Man, good on Great Adventure & Six Flags for upping their decoration and theming game! Thanks for getting me to the park all year, even though I've been laid up.
the flash pass issue at ka was happening at toro too, so many flash pass people and the lockers really slowed the worker down with letting the queue to the stairs
Last year it became an ongoing joke about how strange it was to walk out of Oktoberfest into hell, that probably did influence their decision to change it but it makes so much more sense theming wise next to Jersey Devil as well. I'm very cautiously excited for fright fest, I just hope they pull it off.
with all the markings on the ground at the entrance I wonder if they knock the old ticketing booth down too and completely redo a new modern style entrance for the park in the off season or do they leave it? What I would have done is instead of doing the bricks on dream street which there really arent that many and having them all in one little section looks weird. I'd have redone this entire entrance at the front with new gate and everything and then put the logo and all the bricks people bought around it right in the front there, kind of like they have at Cedar Point. I think that would have looked way better than just having two little sections on dream street with the purchased bricks.
Great video! I was at the park on Sunday as well, the fright fest prep and improvements they are making is great. Question: I am a diamond pass holder, do I get access to Frightfest Extreme and not the mazes, both, or neither?
I don’t know how to feel about that. I get what you’re saying about stream lining the process and I do like it opened up. They just have to make it look nice. But I do think this will lead to bigger bottlenecks and I don’t know if there’s still a line just for members. This could possibly be for a new entrance which I think the park needs. It’s currently not up to par. I will miss that building though since it’s been here all the years I’ve been coming to the park I think.
Love the new look of the entrance but wondering if the new entrance will be a disaster during fright fest. With the old entrance the lines were backed up to the security check points. Can’t imagine the new way being any faster for entry. Any update on Houdini? Signs said coming for fright fest. Hoping unleashed show returns. It’s one of our favorite parts of fright fest.
I think they're struggling to give away those log flume pins. When I went the guy asked if I want 4 of them and said I didn't have to scan my pass lol.
I'm hoping to be able to go to Great Adventure next month since I'll be working nearby. I noticed the Saturday hours have a gap. The regular time ends at 5, and fright fest starts at 6. Will I need to leave the park for an hour? I'm a diamond member. Thanks
As a Diamond member, you do have access to Fright Fest. You’ll need to attain your Fright Fest wristband (unsure of how exactly that’ll work yet), and then you’ll be able to stay in the park during the transition time!
So are gold season pass holders gonna be allowed to be in the park after 5? Or is it just gold pass holders can go into the park but can’t go into any mazes Edit: love the channel by the way, amazing vid as always.
These are the dates 2025 Gold Passes are permitted entry: 9/13, 9/15, 9/19, 9/20, 9/22, 9/26, 9/27, 9/29, 10/3, 10/4, 10/10, 10/11, 10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25, 10/30, 10/31, 11/1, 11/2, 11/3. Any dates not listed there are blocked out to that tier of pass.
2023 and 2024 were both very rough years for amusement parks in general especially the Cedar Flags merged chain of parks, we'll see about 2025 but it's an odd year so meh
Those turnstiles should have been removed more then twenty years ago turnstiles went out with the Dinosauers. Lol As far as the entrance goes the way it is set up now is obviously temporary because with crowds of people it seems like people will be able to push there way in without even having a ticket. Probably next year the entire entrance will be new they will probably get rid of those ticket booths also.
1:12 you caught me walking in lol
Six flags great adventure is a great fun amusement park. Love going Batman ,nitro and el toro are great rides
Wow the main entrance is awesome now ! So much better!
The entrance change feels like a cedar fair move but honestly really like the open feel of it. Great vlog as always
Probably, some of our coasters are getting some cedar fair treatment.

Yeah I was excited cuase it has like the slowest ops in the park so the line moves faster now

Teal train got new wheels, that might happen to all of the trains on Ka. Its gonna make a difference from what I am hearing.

Are you going to dark nights next weekend too
That's the plan!
Random question, but does Nitro require you to get a locker for loose articles?
No
Bro 35 visits, why are you not just working there for them?? That would be epic.
If I worked there, I wouldn’t be able to do this…not worth the trade-off in my opinion, but I get your point!
@ColiwoodStudios GA better be private jetting you with perks given the positive traffic you push to that place bro :)

2024 Gold Passes can visit any day, 2025 Gold Passes/Memberships can only visit certain days, with some of the more crowded dates blocked out.

Gone

I got confirmation that the gold pass for 2025 will allow you entrance to fright fest extreme, but you have to pay extra to do the mazes.
Yes, the 2025 Gold Pass/Membership is permitted to attend Fright Fest Extreme on these nights only: 9/13, 9/15, 9/19, 9/20, 9/22, 9/26, 9/27, 9/29, 10/3, 10/4, 10/10, 10/11, 10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25, 10/30, 10/31, 11/1, 11/2, 11/3
Appreciate the clarification. Six flags finally made it clear, but their customer service team clearly didn’t know the right answers when I asked.
We have Six Flags Plus membership. The Park said we can walk around the park during extreme but cannot enter any houses.
That sounds correct
How often do you ride front row on Kingda Ka?
Whenever I don't have to wait long
@@ColiwoodStudios Front row and second row are pretty much the only rows I ride in unless I find an empty seat in another row after getting off.

About the Fright Fest Extreme, my gold pass for 2025 is showing that I have access to Fright Fest Extreme
That’s interesting because initially they were sold without that as a benefit, but it’s very likely they may have changed that
Where is the ada voucher location?
Where the former Lost & Found was, just outside the park exit
what time did u go/leave?
Opening to Closing!
What’s going on movie town this year nothing ?
The Stranger Things building will continue being used to house Fright Fest houses in future years

Is it just me or is it because of fright fest? So they can get an early scare on you when you're not even in the park.

Is clown town coming ?
As far as I know, yes
