When I saw you creating this piece, I thought that it would make a nice lamp. The goblet looks a lot better than a lamp. You must have an amazingly beautiful home with lots of wooden pieces.
...about an hour ago, I finished watching the cup video where you cut a white ash block into multiple pieces and inserted sipo blanks to create a cool and unique pattern...I thought to myself, I have a bunch of small logs lying around...I wonder if I could use this technique on them... Then...this popped up...I just can't seem to have an original idea...😆 Congrats as this vessel is way cool!!!...👍
Nice work Morgan, another thing I wanted to mention was the amount of time you take to reply to everyone's comments. Not too many creators doing that. Keep up the good work.
WOW! I love how your mind works...now...I want 5 more just like that one, and 6 like it, only half again larger...lol...Just Kiddin...I can't afford even one...:)
It reminds me of the two cartoon chipmunks who were in the wood factory watching their big trees get turned into little toothpicks, I’m always amazed at how such a big piece of wood turns into nothing more than a thimble a beautiful thimble but a thimble nonetheless.
It is the principle of woodturning, when we put in the round the piece of wood, it decreases..especially when they are curved like this one🤔and then The log was not so big as that.. 😉 Thank you for your comment😉
Beautiful piece. I like how you made the diagonal inlayed pieces not quite line up exactly and the center one not quite be exactly centered, whether that was intended or not I think it gives it a more interesting look than other similar pieces that I’ve seen with that design. Great work.
Scott simpey Thank you very much for your comment❤️❤️ I am very happy that you noticed this detail😉👍 I cut the edges of the boards at a slight angle so as to give an asymmetrical effect and thus give the illusion of a comma when turned. congratulations again for your informed eye 😉
That is a beautiful piece of art. You really need to consider renting a booth in Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO for a weekend to show off your skill. I guarantee that you will pick up a lot of business and a lot of new followers to your channel. Best of luck to you and your family. God has truly blessed you with your skill.
Nice work. Quick thing though, you should have carved "straight" the left side; it would have helped stabilise the entire piece while spinning and make work much easier 😉🤙🏻
Stunning, as always. What an interesting design.
Thanks Dellani 💕😍
@@bawbreizhartwood You're very welcome.

It looks awesome-though why use what I assume is superglue instead of wood glue?
On this type of gluing it will take days with vinyl glue

why not cut the red wood closer to the stump before putting it on the lay ?
