We have just found your series of videos and are slowly making our way through them. Jamie, this is what the nation need's, simple straight forward, family cooking. It's lovely watching, Buddy, and your family in the kitchen without all the glitz of a studio, keeping it real. Thank you and your family so much for sharing. Absolutely brilliant.
I'm watching you from Brazil. We are in quarantine here. We go to English classes here and I shared this video with my classmates so we can pratice some cooking and british English! Thank you Jamie!

Jamie, since there's yeast shortage, try this and if you like it share it with everyone to make their lives easier...: 100 ml beer mixed with 1 table spoon of sugar and 1 table spoon of flour. Leave it in the warm room overnight, next day use it in the recipe. My family lived on this 'mock up' yeast during the war years in my country when food was scarce.
Mr Oliver I just love how you are not only a great cook, and an advocate for food justice, but a wonderful dad and husband. God bless you and your family.
Thank you Jamie and Buddy for this much needed recipe. Can't believe how simple it is. And thank you for your kind and uplifting words - wonderful video. Take care and stay safe.

Watching this in February 2021 as we inch slowly toward the light at the end of the tunnel. Jamie Oliver is one of the few chefs who understood the shortages we found at the store. I have heard chefs talk about using pantry items like truffle oil, things that most of us, especially those newly introduced to the pantry, do not have. I watch as they don't scrape bowls, and yes use an egg to coat the pie crust, as if we all can afford to waste food ever. This one was such a pleasure to watch. Heartwarming and thoughtful. Thanks, Jamie and Buddy!
😋 I've made this soda bread several times now without the honey, and sometimes I added things like sun-dried tomatoes, olives, herbs, cheese (feta or strong cheddar my faves!). My grandkids adore making the cheesy version, and can make it without help because there's no weighing or faffing about. They also came up with their own sweeter version with raisins, sultanas and dried cranberries (no extra sugar or honey by order of Grandma lol!) I absolutely adore watching these two together; what a great dad Jamie is!!! 💙💙💙
Was trying to figure out how to make bread without yeast. They took all the toilet paper and the yeast! I forgot about soda bread. And just this is just what I needed feeling down her in Los Angeles. This video is cheering me up. Your kid is so cute. Just a sweet video. About nurturing, really.

Stay well, and safe, and THANK YOU for keeping me feeling creative, happy, and SANE!!!

Sweta Ghorawat Hi, soda bread is Irish. I’m in Belfast using whole meal chapati flour in this simple recipe and it works very well indeed. I have been brought up to use the acid in buttermilk or milk and vinegar to make the bicarbonate give off CO2. It is a big surprise to find out that acid is not needed. Sodium bicarbonate gives off CO2 when heated!

I make all bread like that except I only have a 4 cup measure and a large crockery bowl. I bake most bread in a 4 inch deep cast iron skillet, corn bread, biscuits, focaccia, Yeast rolls, even deep dish pizza. I used to have a lovely kitchen full of gadgets but lost it all in a flood and had to live in an RV for a year...you find that if you knew what stuff was supposed to look like and feel like and remember basic ingredients, you can get by.
Thanks Jamie and Buddy :-) I just made this wicked soda bread as a bedtime snack for our daughters and everyone LOVED it!! This will be my new breakfast bread. Thank you so much for generously sharing your amazing recipes and tips.

Sorry I missed you! Good Morning from Wisconsin! We are taking advantage of our staying at home by having a "Jamie Oliver Recipe Week", and turning our dining room table into a Jamie shrine!! lol. My wife is from the U.K. (Maidstone, Kent) and we are getting some lovely VEG in our girls using your recipes. Love you and your meals, we get 15 Min Meals here but not your new show, sadly. Stay well, and safe, and THANK YOU for keeping me feeling creative, happy, and SANE!!!
Buddy is too cute 🥰Recipe looks great! Nice n simple. I will try it. Thanks for all you do Jamie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was the most calming thing I've watched in two weeks. Love you, Jamie - and thank you for this! In my third week of isolation here in Massachusetts (but I'm a Brit, through and through)
Hello from Vancouver Canada....thanks so much Jamie and Buddy. I’m not much of a cook, but this was truly amazing. Take care
Hi Jamie and Buddy, thank you for your warmth, kindness and love 💕 love from Australia 🇦🇺🇮🇹💜🙏🏻💪🏻💔😢 italy your favourite country you must feel so bad for all the italians. As I do. And of course other countries have been affected as well, very very sad ☹️😭💪🏻🙏🏻💜
Really great video. THank you for sharing your family time with us!
Lovely recipe! Will try it for breakfast in a few hours! 🥰Cheers!
Reporting from India: Just saw the show and went and made this. Smells amazing. Don't know if it will survive till breakfast!
I've been watching since the very beginning of "The Naked Chef" days---when he was dating his now wife. I LOVE that he is still here and sharing his love and talent in cooking with his children!!!!! Also love watching Buddy Oliver's videos!!!!
I loved watching you both - thank you I'll be trying this in the morning with my daughter!
Great Jamie, but you look shattered! Sending love to you all ❤️
So nice to see you cooking at home with your family, how lovely you are with your Buddy, what a great cook he is too!
I have found that by cooking up a nice meal for loved ones and or our neighbours; it has made me feel good & positive in challenging circumstances. Thanks for the recipes Jamie and God bless to you and yours xo

Yvonne loving the cooking show with you and your boy, it’s like watching my son Marco with his boy. I like mine with cooked onions and loads of grated cheese. Love To Buddy
How many ounces was the can? Jamie, always a pleasure watching your videos. And it's always a treat when we get to see your sweet children. My hubby and I have 6 kiddos, and they are absolutely a blessing!
Cheers for this mate, lifesaver (especially the chocolate brekky things).
Hi Jamie from across the pond, I’m in Oklahoma in the US.
I’ve watched you for YEARS, you’re my most fave ever! 😍
Thanks for a wonderfully simple Soda Bread 🍞 recipe, love it!! 😁
More videos PLEASE, love, love your precious boy Buddy baking with you. ❤️
Stay safe and well! 🥰 xoxo
Thanks Jamie and
Buddy, you made my day.
We’re all struggling with the lockdown.
