Maybe I'm just biased, because I have a Yoshi pipe on my Fireblade, but to me, its the best sounding pipe from the whole lot. Second to the Akro. It's the perfect balance between scream & beefy growl at lower RPM. Its just pure love.
Missing my favorite exhaust on this bike, the "Toce"... check out emre600rr, the perfect engine note... SC projects is a very close second. That exhaust also sounds the best on the RSV4 as well. They give that grunty crackle down low, and make the bike scream the rest of the way up.
It really depends on the exhaust you buy to be honest. Some run just perfectly fine because they exhaust is tuned for a stock setup. I have had a Leovince GP pro and now have a MIVV Suono and they both just run perfectly fine stock. Also try to stay away from cheap ECU flashes, most of them load a generic map and just do a test to see if it works and hardly have any fine tuning.
It depends on what bike you have. Most slip on exhaust don't require a tune but I'd recommend especially getting a full exhaust, personally I've had several bikes with aftermarket exhaust with ECU tune and haven't run into any issues. I know people will be concerned about the warranty although it will only void warranty on the part itself which they would have to prove, if your worried about warranty install slip on and when you get it serviced reinstall stock exhaust.
