Haha more power why not, the problem for me is I live in the city (Amsterdam) It is just brutal to drive a supersport in heavy traffic. My wrists got real fucked up quick :(. And you kind of look like a tryhard driving this in the city. But this bike is pure porn, I still think I'm buying one soon. I just gotta have it

I have a 2016 R1 w/ Yoshi Alpha 3/4, the pipe looks much bigger in person. I did the Power Commander, Autotune, smog block offs, servo buddy, etc. Sounds great, runs perfect, I recommend these mods if you are getting an aftermarket pipe. The bike feels much lighter too, to a point where I had to slightly get used to the bikes handling again. It is probably more from the power delivery than the weight loss, or both. I don't know, I am not a scientist, I only play one on TV.

FK I love HONDA period 👍....I have a 2006 CBR 1000 RR bought 2nd hand in Australia had been poorly looked after before I bought it as bottom end blew on me in the first 2 weeks of owning it despite the time I took to inspect to the best I could, not into electronic abs, traction control/launch etc so decided to do what everyone said not to and spent$9,500 on a rebuild ...get it back from local Honda dealership in January 2022 and will need to buy extra tissues to clean up the excitement my body will no doubt be excreting 👍... Do whatever makes you happy people 🙂

Yoshimura is by far the best sound especially if it's got a full decat. I have a 05 RS-5 without decat and it sounds bonkers with just the rear can! I cant wait to get rid of that heavy cat and turn the growl into a real ROAR!

Just got one not long ago, do all 08s burn oil or some, and what are the symtpons cos i dont smell any oil burning.
But i noticed when i bought it and got serviced the oil level would be full, now after 1000km of riding here and there i checked the dip stick and i couldnt pick up any oil (doing it the keeping it upright way and warm it up and turned off for a few minutes) but first thing in the morning bikes leaning on the side stand i can see its level to low now that i just topped up 400ml
I'm an Austin GPR or SC Project gurl myself but anything with a full system and a tad over fueled does it for me....

The Yoshi R-77 is sick!!!! The Leo looks like shit but it sounds like heaven. The Yoshi R-11 sounds great but the R-77 is the champ.
Yoshimura is good but I for sure liked that Voodoo though.

probably just different microphones, or one is full system vs just a slip on. not sure, but they do sound different

I'm liking that SC Project pipe. Sounds good from idle to full throttle. The AR sounds empty at throttle but nice rumble at idle. Too bad all pipes weren't tested using the same ride.

bad crankshaft primary gear 08-11 had a recall on this
i have taylormade exhaust and sounds better than this may be because of oxygen sensor eliminator and k&n airfilters in real it sounds amazing among all cbrs i knw

I like them all but Yoshimira is my fav also I hope to get a 1000rr this summer will b my first bike but I want new and big I'm not doing this 300 then 600 and so on I just want the 1000 and b done with it
+Jake thequadrunnersnake good luck, Even tho I would suggest to start on a smaller bike, they're a ton of fun and the power isn't always everything!
+JDM World well I thought about a 600 Honda but I'm not sure yet I like the thought of just going with a 1000rr I'm not planing on being stupid with it esp right away
+Jake thequadrunnersnake If I can give you any advice, go for the 600, realistically the same thing as a 1000 just in my opinion a bit more fun on the streets due to gearing, comfort, easier wheelies ect! especially for a newer rider! tho you can have a ton of fun on a MT07 or something similar it would be awesome for a street bike.
+JDM World I'm gong for the 600 Honda or a 600 Suzuki I'm a Honda guy I like the 1000 and 600 Honda and Suzuki I'm just more of a Honda fan though
