Princess Cruises Food Buffet Dinner on Majestic Princess (4K)

- See what you can expect for dinner at the Princess Cruises buffet restaurant aboard its newest ship, the Majestic Princess (also called the 盛世公主号 for Chinese-speaking guests). In general, the food was pretty good with plenty of choices including dishes nightly that aim to satisfy people who enjoy eating beef and seafood. The desserts section has many gluten-free and no-sugar added selections as well.
One big difference between lunch and dinner at the Majestic Princess buffet is the availability of Spanish tapas and gourmet cheeses. These are available nightly and can vary a little in selection throughout the cruise. These were some of the most enjoyable dishes we tried:

• Korean Short Ribs BBQ
• Saint Honore Cake
• Shrimp Fra Diavolo
• Deep Fried Hoki Fish Fillet
• Oysters Rockefeller
• Prime Rib
• Beef Pot Pie
• BBQ Pork Ribs
• Cappuccino Mousse Cake
• Roasted Herb Mustard Beef Chuck Shoulder
• Gluten Free Toffee Almond Bar
• Deep Fried Oyster Flavored Tilapia
• Beef Minute Steak
• Vitello Tonato (Roast Veal with Tuna Sauce)
• Escargot (Snail in Garlic Butter)

I love going through these videos, giving each one a "YES PLEASE" or "Pass!" Kinda silly, but for me the food adventure is a big part of the cruise picture. I love being able to try things I wouldn't ordinarily get at home. To me, there is no point in doing something as special as a cruise if all you're going to eat is burgers and spaghetti.

Thanks for another great video. Some say Princess food is a step up. Food looks good but quite similar to RCL, NCL, Holland and Celebrity. Was is noticeably better or about the same???
Thank you! I think you're right- it's very similar to RCL, NCL, HAL & Celebrity. They're quite good. HAL might have slightly better quality but not as good selection. Also NCL's selection/quality might not be as good on their smaller ships. One nice thing about Princess is that they will bring you the drinks, and like NCL their dinner buffet doesn't close until late.
A new video need to be made too show current operation
I need to go on a six-month cruise to try all the stuff I know I'd like as well as trying some things I never heard of. Anyone want to lend me the money?

lots of staff in the kitchen yet much bread based food is prepared and displayed too long so toast, buns, rolls are dried out & hard. 🤔🤔 I would like to see less stacked food and receive freshly toasted bread items instead.
