Without going into the finer points of the ship's cuisine, as a consumer of food videos, yours is pretty good. I like your formatting. I like the way you organize your shots. I like the cutaways to the lady who comments on the food--despite the subjectivity of her taste. As an old fart jazz lover, I even like your choices of background music. Your voice overs are well-recorded and are thankfully brief. Nice job!
Thank you very much! 😊 Yeah these do take a lot of organizing, and certainly we want to make them all about the food. Glad you enjoyed the music as well!
Great review. I always say this, I really enjoy the food on Carnival. Where Carnival gives themselves away, they need to present the food a little better and keep area clean. It looked a little rummy looking. Overall great video. Thanks folks.
Thanks George! 😊 Yeah many of the offerings tasted better than they looked. The staff did a good job cleaning up messes but with so many guests it's a little tough, but from what we saw, usually something spilled or dirty around is cleaned up within minutes.
I’m curious, do most ships put the descriptions of foods right at the buffet line? Like for instance stating the name of a soup and actually what’s in it? Or do you gather that from the menu?
Carnival does show the name of the dish plus any possible allergens, plus a little description both on the menu & the name tag above the dish. Most cruise lines also do that, though most don't have a menu like Carnival.
I see the menu is the same as MDR every night. That's probably why so many empty tables are there. Why so many have tips removed last 2 nights because they didn't eat in MDR. Most tip go to staff there.
They share some same dishes but there are some exclusive to MDR and vice versa. We never remove any prepaid tips, and will usually tip our MDR waiter and room steward extra. Remember seeing a poll out there which indicated 90%+ of cruisers don't remove any tips.
3:30 👀 6:12 I could eat that as soup 💀 7:51 👀 10:49 finally something gooooooooooood 😍 11:25 sOuP 11:26 looks good 12:07 Interesting 12:49 gimmeeeeee (i dont like that big fat piece 😭).. but since its mustart rubbed.. i dont think i could eat it. Lol That brisket looked good 18:26 what is that..
That vanilla sauce might be a bit too sweet as soup 😁 And yeah that tiramisu was quite good for a buffet. Prime Rib at 12:49 was one of the best dishes they had for the buffet the entire cruise 😋 18:26 that's a cheesecake with ricotta
I would have most sliced pork. Have to admit, this buffet looked less messy with more colorful dishes. It looked to me that the brisket was sliced wrong and that makes it harder to chew. I am not a fan of prime rib. Desserts looked okay but none were standouts. It looked to me like the cooks were not really trying. But, Joanne was lovely as ever..loved the black dress and the orange one. She has great taste in clothes. Good video.
Thanks Kathy for sharing your thoughts on the buffet & the kind words! 😊 Yeah this wasn't the best buffet, but some pretty tasty eats here and there. We didn't try the pork tenderloin but that looked pretty juicy & tender!
So my wife and I decided to play a drinking game on how many times Mrs. Tender (that's what I call her cuz I don't kno her real name) says THAT word over the course of her last 2 recent videos, and needless to say........ this is my soul making this comment while my body lays motionless over our bed.
pls tell me. did you like all the food including the main dining room why i am asking. i really really would liike to take the 22 day tarans pacific cruise from austriala in 2026. i seem many of your sdvidoes love them. i dont want to go on that cruise for that many days if the food is not good. many of the days are at sea. where i iwould be eating more
Thank you for watching! 😊 We liked most of the food- they had a lot of options for lunch especially on sea days. Also their pizza & sandwich place are really good- we have update videos covering those coming soon. Dinner entrees at the main dining were pretty high quality. But of course it depends on what you like to eat as well.

Yes! Those tables are usually taken pretty quickly, but we were able to get one there 🙂
I mention this once before I love you guys 😎 videos how does your wife keep her weight down 😂🎉❤keep up the good work thank you 😊
I see abundance of brussels sprouts my fav vegetable and lean protein meats.
Thank you very much Billy- we appreciate it! 😊 Taking the stairs whenever possible & getting 10K steps daily when on a cruise helps! 😁
Yeah they had many of the essentials, and some tasty offerings too.

Flashy blue ring there !!

@@TravelTouristVideosthe rib looked good cuz of its red color..
Did it taste like mustard?

So the buffet uses a lot of the same options as the main dining room. So that's where the extra appetizers and entrees come from, lol.
There were actually several options at the buffet and not available at the MDR that same night, and vice versa.
Disappointing compared to our Aussie mining camp selections.
Carnival cruise lines are the Walmart of the industry
Ridiculous comment 🤦🏾♂️
Oh please 🤦🏾♂️
@@mikieanthony777 Prove me wrong!

She knows nothing. I’ve seen her take a meat food on her plate then touch the ladle of vegan food against the meat.
