For reverse hypes, I’ve noticed that when my feet are facing at a more outward angle, I can keep my legs more straight. I just recently tried them with my feet completely straight, and had to slightly bend my knees more. They felt harder with my feet straight forward as well. I know for GHRs they’re easier if your feet point more outward, so maybe it’s similar to that. Either way, hypers are a killer movement!
When i do the barbell twist i keep my arm extended. Would it be better to bend them like you do? I want to train rotation power and not make it a arm exercise.

Straight doesn't necessarily mean better rotation it depends on the reason for it. Try with slightly bent arms and see how it goes.
