I love the Quaxly line but I have a water starter bias. Quaquaval has amazing sweep potential. I think Quaxly and Quaxwell have cool shinies with the sort of mint teal color and grey body. I wish Quaquaval kept the same colors instead of becoming…. diluted.
I used to think I liked the grass starters but then I sat down and looked at my #1 starter picks and the majority are water starters which may butcher my future starter picks (probably not because I go for the cool one)
So I started using the Masuda method for the first time in Scarlet and Violet and I'm starting to understand that getting a shiny Sprigatito in 34 eggs during my first ever attempt was some extreme beginners luck lol
Thats some INSANE luck haha, I usually average around 300ish eggs for a shiny, but sometimes it takes 1000+ eggs and it’s painful 😂 congrats on your shiny sprig ✨

Floragato is a great mid stage, I wish Meowscarada was more beautiful like Floragato. If I had Nintndo Plus at the time I would give you Quaxly with Moxie KKKKKKKKK. I love the fact that generally the female Pokémon in this hunt are coming with better stats than the males. I don't like him having pants on mid stage, but I love that he's a sambista (a people who dances samba) and has the pure Brazilian aesthetic. I cry even now for not having the DLC and without having the shiny Serperior. But seeing you play ended up making me happy, because dreams were fulfilled in a way. Millennia ago snakes had legs, but lost them through genetics. The Bulba line gets angrier and angrier as it evolves, they got tired of Monday (references). My PTSD is that when I went to play the Alola region on my brother's 3Ds, I picked up a shiny poplio by accident... Primarina shiny scares me (not normal Sylveon level)... And at the end of the story I didn't have that much time to lose my fear of primarina because my brother reset my 3ds save (currently I no longer have the Ds). 31:14 and here I can hear Jem screamin "YEEEEAAAAHH IT'S THE BOOOOOYY HI FRIEEEND" to Oshawott, the entire line is so good. Blue shinies is perfect and Dive ball is probably one of my favourite balls too. Truly a underrated shiny and mon, I like. I was missing around 20 or so starters for my Shiny Living Dex and finally got them when the Indigo Disk dropped. Now I'm watching this while hunting for 63 shiny Milcerys. Congrats on all the shinies!!!
Love the video just wanted to give a tip for what I use to help prevent recoil moves from failing shinies. I usually terra my breloom into a ghost type because a lot of common recoil moves are normal type moves. It’s not full proof, but it has definitely saved me sometimes 👍

While watching, I finally caught my 2nd shiny cyndaquil. Spent about 3 hours getting that one, and 4 hours on the first one. Absolutely painful compared to most hunts in this game. (But compared to other games, its not all that bad). Caught 2 because I want both the normal and hisuian form.
While hunting for a shiny torchic to use on my dlc team, I phased on a shiny scorbunny(I hate cinderace in a way beyond words). I reluctantly caught the scorbunny just to discover that it had the rare mark. I wanted to throw my switch across the room

While watching, I finally caught my 2nd shiny cyndaquil. Spent about 3 hours getting that one, and 4 hours on the first one. Absolutely painful compared to most hunts in this game. (But compared to other games, its not all that bad). Caught 2 because I want both the normal and hisuian form.
