- In this video, I catch the best Indigo Disk Shiny Pokemon, such as Metagross and Minior. The Indigo Disk DLC has soo many incredible returning shiny pokemon, and it's tough to fit them all into one video. I do have a Shiny Metagross, it was my second full odds Shiny in White 2. I ran into it in the Giant Chasm. First full odds shiny was a Sunkern in Black 2. I have my Metagross in SWSH right now, and the Sunflora is in SV.

I found a minior mass outbreak i didn't kill 60 and found the shiny already
I was date skipping for the starters, got a torchic, pipplup, and metang outbreak, started at the torchic, got it really fast, went to pipplup, and while I was resetting spawn a shiny minchino spawned, but I was pushed out of range by running into a chinchino, so I took a break to do the metang and got it fast, then went back to pipplup and got a full odds seel , then the next day I got a full odds finneon on a poplio outbreak

I feel that @@bartholomewfish6089. Water starters are the absolute worst. I got lucky and had a Froakie outbreak near the Coastal Club area, so it was on land and basically a town reset hunt. Gotta find an outbreak where you can somewhat isolate if possible, and pray for RNG in your favor otherwise.

Idk how far you are into the DLC but you can also get some of the sweets from the itemprinter and with there being different options for the direction and the time you can spin you can actually get all 63 forms of Alcremie I think 😮
you can! it takes literal ages of grinding stuff to put in the printer though
Shiny Duraludons are easier to spot from their much brighter hue of blue on the arms and belly. That's how I spotted mine.

Nah Alolan Sandshrew actually looks drastically different.
I went ahead and got all 64 milcery for the living dex during the event, and ended up getting a milcery with the rare mark!

One thing I noticed is that shiny hunters on TH-cam don’t seem to notice a crit capture until the poke ball wiggles. You can tell earlier on because the trajectory of the ball does a little dip curve when thrown
I've noticed it since Sword/Shield, except in Sword and Shield it goes straight instead of curving.

Scarlet players absolutely won with version exclusives. Skipping past the whole past vs future paradox pokemon debate. We got Gliscor and Cramorant in Kitakami and then we got Vulpix and Cranidos in Blueberry Academy. It’s not even close.

For anyone who can’t find the metal alloy in the terrarium you can also buy it at the shop it may be a after champion fight item though I don’t know

I love how easy it is to find shinies with the academy sandwich. I've found more than I have in basically any other game while grinding missions for BP.
I caught 63 shiny Milcery. For every sweet AND swirl pattern.

I did it once before in Shield with the Shiny Milcery raid event. This past event. In Scarlet and Violet made it SOOOO much easier than in Sword and Shield. Glad I'm not the only crazy 1 to shiny hunt all the Alcremie forms🙂👍
My particular brand of crazy is that I hunted all 63 forms and then 7 last minute ones for my friend who had lost the outbreaks, but I haven't evolved a single one yet
While the shiny sprites for all the flavors are the same. Shiny alcremie in the Pokémon home phone app has 63 unique entries. Soooo I caught 63 shinies. 😭

My actual first Pokemon in the indigo disk was shiny draludon and I did not no it was shiny until I beat all elite4 and I thought that shiny archaludon was normal archaludon

The dlc has been extremely kind to me. I’ve found a random shiny trapinch and bruxish from just wandering around, and then I found three shiny bulbasaur, one of which was female with the chipper mark

The shines i really want in this game are:
Finizen
Characdet (more because i started a shiny team quest, and had ceruledge on my team)
Buizel
Minior (had the shiny but failed it in an raid den)
Shroomish
Horsea
Dratini
Oricoro (ghost form)
Furret, poplio and reuniclus was on the list but i got them. 2 on outbreaks and one was on a psychic sandwhich.

Actually, I reccomend technician + Loaded dice for Cincinno. That does a lot of damage.
Technically you need 63 for the alcreamie shiny form dex
Lmaooo that would be super tedious 😂, I only went for the 7 noticeable form differences
My friend went for the 63 shinies and it took him like 12 hours

Minior was the first shiny I ever breed for back in Pokemon sun and I was finally able to transfer my son over with the DLC, I named him Nova.

I got 8 shiny milcery for my living dex and then saw on twitter that in pokemon home even though alcremie is shiny you can see which form it is so I decided to catch 64 total shiny milcery and I only need 2 more

Catching Metang in the second attempt was impressive, Beldum's line has one of the worst catch rates of the series. I used 20 Timer Balls just to get a regular Beldum for the Pokédex lol
Thanks to the Milcery outbreaks I also went ahead and got 7 shinies as well, made sure each had a unique mark.
My star sweet even has the Rare mark and is named Electra

Happy holidays! I have found SO MANY random shinies in the indigo disk but one of them was a minior and I tried s hard t catch it w a lux ball and it would not catch and I had reset Iike 18 times and I decided to randomly try my one moon ball and it immediately caught, love your vids btw!!

Out of 20 shiny pokemon I've encountered in my scarlet and violet playthrough 3 have been gift code shinies 16 have been full odds and only my dream shiny rampardos was a purposeful shiny hunt

Probably none the coloration is very obviously different. I got unlucky with it too but the moment it spawned it was very clear

Milcery I have a "little" love for shiny Milcery because the first one I caught on accident, her name is Minty but I want another with ribbon candy because it's my favourite color, maybe I'll make with the rainbow swirl, it doesn't match at all but I want. Milcery it's a good and cute Pokémon, but alcremie it's a supremacy.

I love Reuniclus but I don't know where it's found on Pokémon sword, congrats on the all forms. My favourite its Blueberry, Star, Flower and Ribbon, they're so cool.

Duraludon was the first one I hunted for my sons and myself, absolutely couldn't wait to evolve and roll with it in our playthroughs. Electro Shot when your opponent brings Drizzle, just classic Kiki butt kicking.

Everything easily offered, back in the day it was the rush, the boiling blood to make sure u catch it, shinies lost their essence in arceus, and after that is easier than legendaries almost to get shiny.. and PEOPLE STILL SAVE BEFORE!! btw amazinf viseo😊

@@EternalRadiant and there we go why I said what I said :) try to shiny hunt on gold or silver, or shiny hunt in ruby or fire red, that over there was painful, after diamond it started to be easier and easier, sun/moon, X/Y, ORAS, its all easy shiny methods, not to mention the switch ones
I personally like that they made shinies more accessible for people. It gets more and more Pokémon players to join the hobby and IMO, I would experience the same amount of hype getting a shiny back then vs now, it’s still a great feeling. I don’t like people gatekeeping shiny hunters getting into the hobby now saying “it was way harder back then.” Let’s just celebrate each other’s shiny accomplishments without putting anyone down :)
@@EternalRadiant I know what u mean, I'm not devaluing the emotion of finding a shiny, it's still an amazing experience, when it's a double one it's just an epic moment, no one deslikes the methods and the easy way now, I love it as well, I have more than 500 unique shinies, that never crossed my mind it could happen and it's awesome, but it's already easy to shiny hunt and people still lose stupid time saving before the shiny.. " oh look, the shiny Schyther I've been looking for 6 minutes, lemme save cuz this was a hard hunt " like, at least get the pressure of trying to catch it with the probability off failing and moving forward

Lmaooo I know there’s 63 forms, but there’s 7 you can physically see because the shiny removes the color variations, hence why I only went for the 7.
Why you so obsessed with Marks they literally mean nothing unlike just shinys that at least visually you can see the difference from the normal pokemon
Marks are just a fun addition to the game and it’s cool to own a shiny with a rare mark. Why do you go and rain on people’s parade is the real question? 🤣
You CAN see the mark though 😆it changed the dialogue when they're sent out in battle! Besides it's just fun to have a pokemon rarer than a shiny..a shiny marked! Shinies also mean nothing, but they're fun to collect
@@EternalRadiant I just don't see any value in it though. It's fine if you do lol sorry don't mean to offend but I feel like you inflate it's value too much even to the point that If the shiny doesn't have a mark you don't really care about it, which is understandable given how easy it is to find shiny's in the game, but shiny's at least have a aesthetic change which can make drastically change someone's opinion on a Pokémon. Marks don't do that at all. They only say some goofy message when you send them out. It's as valuable as slapping a seal on your pokeball.

Your catch rate goes up significantly if you backstrike the pokemon. Combined with sleep and 1hp you basically never fail a catch unless you use beast balls by backstriking, you can do it even when they have already noticed you if you run behind and throw the ball before they can turn

At the time I didn’t know the shiny was blue, so I was just basing it off duraludon’s colors
