The micro looks promising I'm definitely interested, though I really feel like they should do wii classic controller style analog triggers so they can keep them inline but not sacrifice them being analog

I've got a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro so I have no NEED for that AyaNeo DMG but MAN IT LOOKS COOL. If I needed a handheld emulator I'd be all over it.
Gonna have to be something super special to compete with A. Pocket quality. Not to mention all the other handhelds out there.

I've just preordered the Odin2Mini, but damn that Pocket DMG. I'll be preordering that as well and hopefully between those and my Analogue Pocket, I can decide on a definitive keeper until the next wave of handhelds come out in sub 6 months, haha! Exciting and expensive hobby here.
I'm sick & tired of these companies shoving analog sticks on to their handhelds where it makes no sense to put them. They're just getting in the way & where they are placed isn't comfortable so what is the point? Just stop it with this non-sense already.
Have you considered that it plays more tham just Gameboy games?
@@ABD-pc3jf It can play a lot more, does it have dual analog sticks? Analog triggers? A screen capable of delivering a decent experience with 16x9 games? They kinda lost their minds on this handheld. They could have put that Helio G99 in this and probably save the consumer a LOT of money and still have perfect performance for the games the handheld is built for. Even the later PSX had dual analog sticks, this has 1. Wth? LOL!

What should be done is a way to have modules that we can slap on the face of the handheld to put either a dpad or thumb stick in the comfiest position for us. would solve a lot of issues including repair when the things that break can be swapped out.

My personal thoughts. AyaNeo is trying to be like ANBERNIC, but ANBERNIC has already stolen the spotlight and they are hitting homeruns left and right! ANBERNIC has already done their GB Micro with the 28XX, the GBA SP with their 35XXSP, the GB DMG with their 35XX Plus. PowKiddy's B20SX has been compared to the Analogue Pocket and could possibly steal the spotlight from the Analogue Pocket by having a larger display, running far more consoles and having a much larger battery. ANBERNIC and PowKiddy are currently on a roll.

Those ayaneo handhelds do look amazing but pretty sure they will be out in like 4-6months timeframe
the whole "um ackshuly Yasuke was a RETAINER" stuff is funny (and possibly people uncomfortable about a legendary Japanese fighter that came from Africa, and had that melanin level typical of Africa). Like, if I understand from skimming the net through several sources, retainers were basically the same thing as samurai, and in fact WERE samurai, just more important. Like general Samurai worked for their lords or whatever and were just their general soldiers. Like, think the general knights of a kingdom. the Retainers, meanwhile, were all that PLUS important enough to have their lords' ears directly. And Yasuke was a retainer to Nobunaga, the biggest of the big guys, unifier of Japan. So yes, Yasuke was a samurai--a very very important and highly ranked one. High enough that the guy in charge of the whole country trusted him. All retainers were samurai, not all samurai were retainers. so the argument is dumb.

Your kidding right. Ubisoft has been losing money hand over fist for years. None of thier games live up to sales expectations and the only thing keeping them afloat atm is Seige. Ffs how long has Beyond Good and Evil been in production and somehow they managed to screw up the beloved naval features from AC4 and make a crummy game out of it like 10 years later.

I mean de pocket dmg looks cool, but so much power with just one analog stick kinda restricts what you can emulate. So it's kind of a waste of power for playing easier to emulate games right?
Totally! This proc can play every android game, emulator in the sun, but the form factor... I can't imagine playing a 16x9 game on this, or stream. Does it even have analog triggers? Like... wth are they on?
The ayaneo devices look really cool but they are going to be really expensive for what they are. But that is kinda their thing.
Remember, we got to get used to not owning our games. Even after you pay one of those 4 different amounts.

That vertical Pocket DNG, the processor on that, is WAY OVERKILL! OMG! Put a SD 7 series or some mediatek in there, it'll be fine! But a G3X Gen 2!? Odin 2 territory with that design and size? I dunno! 3:50 I mean, which 4:3 games need that much power? And the games that can use that power, they're not 4:3! WTH? Analog triggers for more advanced games? Nope! Put that Helio G99 in this one. Given the internals, I expect this to cost a bit.
They put too much power for these devices that aren't physically capable of playing the games that can use all this power. They need to release cheaper devices.
I don't like either design. I'll stick with the RG35xx H.

Even if I turn blind eye to the obvious DEI propaganda, in previous Assassin's Creed games one key thing was immersion. How can anyone get immersed in a medieval Japan with a black protagonist? Might as well put Spongebob in its place, it wouldn't be more absurd, he would blend in with the crowd at least as well.

Kurosuke was a real, historical figure, a black samurai. He came as a slave from Africa, and then he got his freedom back when the daimyo of the time made him samurai. It seems everything is controversial one way or another these days.
Quit trying to rewrite history. He wasnt a samurai. He was a retainer a glorified sword carrier and the only reason he was kept around was because he was an "item" of curiosity. Just like the reason he was put in the game instead of a person from that region like every other AC game that has ever come out.
Everyone knows the special editions are not worth it for these games, it's just extra cheap cosmetics you're not going to use. That said the controversy for the historically accurate stuff in a assassins creed game is never supposed to be historically accurate. The games are loosely based on facts on the characters, but the setting should be accurate to a point. I mean take for example assassins creed portraying the pope and portraying American historical figures like Washington. It's not accurate but makes a good game. Thats at least my two cents.
