I didn't realize this was a sequel. I played the demo for a bit and liked it so I redeemed the key from the bundle. Only 2 I didn't were 2 I already had.
Of these I've only ever played Littlewood and its such an underrated game that I'm glad humble is forcing people to notice it. It reminds me so much of Dark Cloud/Dark Cloud 2 where you go into dungeons, get resources, rebuild a town where the people in said town want you to fulfill certain tasks to make them happy... Ohoooo I love dark cloud and dark cloud 2. I hope one day that they either get a remaster or dark cloud 3 is released.....even though I doubt that will ever happen 😭. (Also love Littlewood, I love Dark he's my favorite)
Immortal Life is an amazing game, which I have finished. Yes the end game is a bit grindy, but once you get the hang of it, it passes quickly. I have also played Everdream valley to the end of the story. It's cute, but as Josh said, it does focus more on the animals then the farming.
NPLH is such a weird one. I've got a bit over 80 hours in, and it is the most fun not fun game I've ever played. It is SO satisfying, and there's a lot of real nerdy humor to discover. But farming and ranching and cooking is kind of useless, other than you need to make jars as a form of currency. It can be a real pain to find the collectibles you need to unlock different things, and the ending is just indescribably bad. But I keep coming back to play it again because cleaning up the planet really is just so satisfying.
I want to like that game so bad because I love the satisfaction of cleaning the environment, but the crafting confuses me and I don't think the game is very compatible with a controller. I do like their other game Fresh Start, though.
You should try Fresh Start Cleaning Simulator. It's just the cleaning part and fixing a few buildings with stuff you find while cleaning. Very satisfying. I don't like the music that much but you can turn that down and play your own.
I've slept on all of these. So I'm probably gonna get the bundle even though I know I won't play Littlewood or the witch game. It's worth it for Cornacopia and Immortal Life alone, I played those demos and was very impressed with each. This bundle cost less than even just one of them. 👍
Immortal Life is so worth it! Honestly I wish I could wipe my memory of the game to replay it haha! I love Littlewood too, it does feel like a sand box type of game but it's super cute. Everdream Valley, I always hear negative stuff about it and Cattails, as a cat lover; I didn't enjoy the first one so I don't have interest in the second one haha. Fay gifted me Cornucopia and some other keys to members and so far I've been enjoying Cornucopia, it's not really compatible with the Steam Deck which I hope the Devs can fix once the game is out of EA haha. I played and completed Ikonei Island solo and really enjoyed the playthrough! I made a little hangout area for the idle characters so it wasn't as awkward, in total it took me 19 hours to finish but some of that was idling as I was doing other things and just had the game paused. I really liked the little pirate cat puzzles. Everdream Valley I only ever played the demo, but I bought the game pre-release and then was refused a refund when it came out (due to the time gap between purchase and refund due to the preorder) and they still hadn't fixed the wonky controls so I never ended up playing it. I keep telling myself I need to get back into it because it is SUCH a fun game!!
I've been going back and forward on this bundle all day, but you've convinced me! Seeing Witch of Fern Island front and center on the email turned me off a bit (I also played during early access and found the dialogue incredibly wooden. However I will say - as someone who has spent a fair bit of time fishing - it has possibly the best fishing minigame I've ever encountered. It's the only one I've ever played that's actually captured the 'vibe' right). But I've been tempted by Immortal Life and Ikonei Island for weeks, and I'd never even heard of Littlewood! I'm not usually one for pixel art, but the concept of building up the town for folks appeals quite a lot so I think there's enough value for money there to make this bundle worth buying :)
Hi, Josh! I just bought the bundle! Thank you for always updating us with farming and cozy games! We really love your contents! Excited to play the games in the bundle now. :D
You truly are on top of all the news! One of the reasons why you're my top go-to farming sims youtuber. Thanks for telling us, I near immediately used the link provided and bought the bundle. I've only bought Immortal Life when it was released so I'm kind of sad I didn't wait till I saw the bundle, but considering everything else included it was a great deal (eying Cat Tails heavily here.)
I have Ikonei Island and it's so cute! I really enjoy that one! It can get a little confusing sometimes, because there isn't any direction on what you're supposed to do, but the discord community is really helpful.
I played the demo of that, it lets you play 2 hours or indefinitely if you have a friend with it. So I played just shy of the 2 hours. The newest update seemed to have brought some bugs with it. So I may wait to play that till after the next update/hot fix. But I did really enjoy it so am glad it was in the bundle.
Personally, I love Cattails. The art isn't outstanding, but for me it has its own charm and I find all the cats fun and charming and their different portraits are really cute. It also fixes a lot of the issues I had with the first one, which helps. But yeah I could see it not being someone's thing, especially if they aren't that fond of cats in the first place!
Being a fan of the Warrior cat series and the book TailChaser's Song. I'm interested in the game. I just played some of the demo before but it was fun.
As someone that has played the first Cattails just going to add my ramblings in hopes it helps. This game has combat & hunting as a heads up, the hunting mechanic has stuff to help you which is a quality of life upgrade to the first game. This game is for people that like cats, customizing(you can customize the "town"(area of your colony's territory everyone lives in), your character & your "house"/den) & Warriors* since the creators are fans that started off with a similar game that was a Warriors RPG before eventually making the first Cattails game. Farming isn't the main focus & needs to be unlocked depending on the game(Cattails buying(in the game not as in DLC) the gardening den expansion while in Wildwood Story you need to recruit Alabaster who sells gardening stuff/upgrades), it's a life sim RPG were you are helping rebuild the forest guardian's temple after a terrible disaster destroys the old one & weakens the guardian. You work on expanding your colony's territory, exploring the open world, collecting supplies for stuff like donating to the forest guardian's temple slightly like Stardew Valley Junimo bundles. These donations go towards recruiting cats that can help you such as unlocking gardening & unlocking the ability to send out troupes to fight in different parts of your territory for you & also collect needed supplies. *A book series about domestic cats having clans out in the wild with their own adventures & beliefs along with prefixs in their names depending on status/title.(Example Firekit is a kitten, Mosspaw is a kitten/cat old enough to become an apprentice, Firestar is the leader of one of the clans) It's a little hard at times to follow the books due to multiple people under one pen name working on it & some questionable writing in some books so at best newer fans just check the wiki for information & go with that.
I love that you review these bundles, I’d have no idea about them otherwise. Normally there are too many games I already have for it to be worth it but this bundle I only have two of the games - littlewood and cattails 2. Totally getting this bundle!!
The only game in this bundle I own and played is Everdream Valley. I’ve played more than 20hrs now, and am still addicted to it, temporarily on halt as I have to finish Unicorn Overlord first. I haven’t played any 3D farming sims before, so far I love the animals in Everdream Valley, especially Alpacas! I love the mechanics to search for them, lure them to the farm, house and breed them. The developers have released a few patches early this year for the Switch version and I haven’t encountered any technical issues yet.
I don't have any of these games but I do really want to try out Little Wood, Cornucopia and Immortal Life. The cat game is definitely the only one that I really don't care about in this bundle.
Same here - except I missed the part of Littlewood where you cross-breed flowers to fill that part of the museum, so at the end of my playthrough that was the only thing that needed to be done and that got too tedious. If I had started the flower-planting early on in parallel with the other tasks it would have been more fun to complete it.
the only games i have already owned are No Place Like Home and Ikonei Island, and there are OTHERS that i have been saving to buy for!! thank you, Josh, for letting me know this amazing deal. i'm joining you on immortal Life lovers wagon!!
The only one I have played is no place like home & I agree with you. The cleaning is very good as a mindless activity. I do have Littlewood on my wishlist
There was a post on the steam forum I found saying they were trying to sort it out, very vauge though. I can only think it's some kind of rights/licencing issues around something.
The witch of fern island, Cornucopia, and Immortal Life are worth the $20 without the rest of the games included in this bundle. I would say yes, it is worth the money 100%
I looked at trade tales youtube channel...something's off they have like no comments and uses like this roboty a.i voice when talking about their game...
I have both Littlewood and No place like home and have almost 100% them both in terms of achievements they are both great imo. immortal life/ever dream valley/ wtich of fern island have all been on my wishlist while being on the fence so def worth it.
The bright colors and sparkle animations on Cornucopia seem like they might get headache inducing. I need to look up more videos of it to be sure. Cattails and Immortal Life are the draws for me. I played Littlewood a ton a few years ago and loved it. I need to get back into it. So maybe I'll get the mid-size bundle.
Got the bundle. I already had Cornucopia and Everdream Valley. Immortal life seems good so far and I'm actually really enjoying Witch of Fern Island as well. I've played the demo of Ikonei before so know that's fun(but a bit buggy). I did also play and like the Cattails demo. So Littlewood is the only one left to be tried. Oh, forgot I tried No Place Like Home before but it was too buggy and returned it but I'm willing to give it a fresh try since it's in the bundle.
I really enjoyed little wood. NPLH was fun to play on break at work and just mindlessly vacuum up trash but otherwise there’s not munch to it. Just some fun jokes. Looking forward to cornucopia’s full release.
I’ve only played the first cattails game, but the series is well loved because of its fan service to those who grew up reading the Warrior Cat book series (by Erin Hunter.) It’s like our childhood fantasy world has come to life lol I’m not crazy about the new graphics in the 2nd game, but will probably give it a try. $20 seems like a decent cost for the whole Humble set?
Hi Josh! I’m sorry but could you tell me the other game you mentioned when you were talking about No Place Like Home? You said if we like games like Powerwash Simulator or (???) we’d probably like this one too. I just couldn’t quite make out what that second game was and captions didn’t help unfortunately.
The only game i really can get immersed in from this budle is The Witch of Fern Island. I adore the game. Players are so different, and it is very sad if the game is not recognized as good game. I did not play games until 4 years ago, and I can just not get immersed in pixel art, the top-down camera angle in games, combat of any kind or games with a child as a main character. The Witch of Fern Island is the perfect game for me. (other examles of great games I like are the Sims, ACNH, Garden Paws, Wylde Flowers, DDV, Critter Cove) To recognize and be honest to myself about which games are for me and which are not has taken me so long. The game someone else don't like might be the best game you have not yet played❤️
I looove it too. I was part of the wiki team. Some of the reviews are straight up lies and time played is less than 1hr. It's ok the game is not for everybody but I believe Steam should not allow reviews for less than a few hours played at least 2 as their refund policy is. It does take a while to get into it and because there is no hand holding, it takes a few good hours to get your bearings. I have over 800 hrs and 2 full playthurs ...yup love it. The story is actually awesome.
@@airyspaw It wouldn't be fair for me not to be able to leave a review if the game was so buggy and broken I couldn't play it for a specified amount of time. There's no good solution to fake reviews but inhibiting people from giving honest negative feedback that could falsely improve the ratings isn't a good answer. Best that can be done is for the community to report the obviously troll reviews. More on topic I did get the bundle and am enjoying Fern Island so far. Some of the dialog is a little flat but I'm guessing the devs aren't native speakers.
@@TamanduaGirl Yea I can see your point and I agree. I refer mostly to the "game is crap" or "graphics are crap" type reviews after 30 min. Sounds like you would give a proper review even after 30 min to clearly say why you are leaving a negative review. And yes, they are Polish. The dialogue gets better as you open up quests. See the wiki if you get stuck :) we worked hard on it.
@@airyspaw I already had to use the wiki to get tulips in time. I'd been all over the map but they were in such a tiny area they kept getting missed. Yeah super short reviews help no one. Maybe a minimum word limit, though currently you don't even need to write a review you can just rate it. Still might help, just rating or minimum words to weed out some trolls.
I have been so broke lately that i havent been able to buy anything new for a while lol. Ive had several games that i bought and havent played yet, so recently ive been playing those (mostly Forever Skies! Early access, but fantastic so far! They just added a gardening update 😃) This is a great bundle, though! I think i can actually afford to play some new games now 😅
I prefer my farm sims on handhelds i rarely play it on console or pc so im hoping for more on of these on the switch 😁 im currently playing TOT on 3ds, POOT on switch and TOTW on DS 😁 i just cycle between these 3 but i sometimes play RF4 and RF5 on 3ds and switch
It's definitely worth if you don't have those games yet, unfortunately you can't choose to leave out those you already have & have no one to give/trade them with, sigh. The 3 ones I don't I don't happen to have on steam require you to buy the entire bundle & they're lower on my wishlist as they're a gamble as I'm highly likely to not like them.Q.Q Currenty saving my poor wallet for SunnySide & maybe some others.
Of these games, the only ones I have played before is "No Place Like Home" and surprisingly, it has a lot of content (in terms of hours). I've played the game for 30 hours and I'm still not done with the quests. Granted, 99% of the gameplay is sucking up trash.... it really is satisfying. But compared to the other title by the same company (which is literally just focused on sucking up trash) "Fresh Start", No Place Like Home has ironically enough way more content.
I wish Cornucopia was available in the UK :( because it isn't I went with the 6 game bundle, as The Witch of Fern Island didn't seem worth the extra few quid
I'd say if you don't own littlewood - maybe. It's a very good game, but you can get it cheaper on a sale, but you can treat a portion of that bundle as buying Littlewood. As I already own it the bundle lacks a "hook" game for me - a game I can buy the bundle for and treat that as buying that game with the rest being extras. Without a hook game I'm left with a lot of games that I might be willing to try, but none have a quality to try sight unseen with no right of refund.
There's only two games left on the list for me, and so far, it sounds like it's not worth buying the bundle at all. 😂 Edit: Yeah, not worth spending the money on any of these games. I already have NPLH, played it for 15 minutes and hated it. Too bad, maybe next time it'll have games worth buying.
They should have given you a different game, that's a shame. 😭 I know the game isn't available in the UK, I hope someday they're able to change that as a lot of people are missing out on it.
I recently bought witch of fern island and be warned you need a very powerful computer to run it. I also sought help and one of the people ( i'm not sure if it was the developer or what ) was....somewhat rude? I had simply shown a problem i was having where everyone looked like uncanny vally and I showed my graphics and the proof that i was able to run it on minimal requirements and I was met with " well you clearly do not have the ability to run it with your current graphics card ". Yes this was true but it could have been said far differently. needless to say I refunded the game and got my money back

Took advantage of this deal. With games I don’t have interest I’ll gift it to my friend🥰
Bought it yesterday after you mentioned it 😊
I have both Littlewood and No place like home and have almost 100% them both in terms of achievements they are both great imo. immortal life/ever dream valley/ wtich of fern island have all been on my wishlist while being on the fence so def worth it.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us
Got the bundle.
And now I'm addicted to Littlewood. I admit I judged t by the graphics and was skeptical but it's very addicting.
The other game is Loddlenaut! I have a review of it on this channel too!
@@JoshGamingGarden thank youuuu! I've never heard of that one. I'm excited to check it out 🥰
The only game i really can get immersed in from this budle is The Witch of Fern Island. (other examles of great games I like are the Sims, ACNH, Garden Paws, Wylde Flowers, DDV, Critter Cove)
To recognize and be honest to myself about which games are for me and which are not has taken me so long.
They just added a gardening update 😃)
This is a great bundle, though!
Thanks for the video. I had my eyes on some of the games, but i would not buy them them for full price.
More games for my pile of shame 😅
It's definitely worth if you don't have those games yet, unfortunately you can't choose to leave out those you already have & have no one to give/trade them with, sigh. The 3 ones I don't I don't happen to have on steam require you to buy the entire bundle & they're lower on my wishlist as they're a gamble as I'm highly likely to not like them.Q.Q Currenty saving my poor wallet for SunnySide & maybe some others.
What are your picks for the farm fest at the end of the month?
If youre in the UK you dont get cornucopia which is sad. I honestly dont understand why its not allowed in UK
I did wonder where it was when I just checked Xd I've got pretty much every other game on it too so bleh :(
Of these games, the only ones I have played before is "No Place Like Home" and surprisingly, it has a lot of content (in terms of hours).
Only one I've played is Littlewood. Which I liked well enough, though I think that I was expecting something more similar to Stardew.
Bought it yesterday :)
Nice! Hope you enjoy the games!
There's only two games left on the list for me, and so far, it sounds like it's not worth buying the bundle at all. 😂
Edit: Yeah, not worth spending the money on any of these games. I already have NPLH, played it for 15 minutes and hated it. Too bad, maybe next time it'll have games worth buying.
Sadly cannot play Cornucopia, apparently UK peeps cannot play it, least on Steam even though I was able to wishlist it
Bundle is a bit less value in UK. Cornucopia isn't included (& it's region locked)
They should have given you a different game, that's a shame. 😭 I know the game isn't available in the UK, I hope someday they're able to change that as a lot of people are missing out on it.
Cornucopia is censored in UK ? Why that ? I never heard about it.
Yes this was true but it could have been said far differently. needless to say I refunded the game and got my money back
I've never been this early before
No place like home’s ending was a bit underwhelming 😢
Which one you can get married or have a gf?. Hehe
The ones I know for sure are - Cornucopia & Littlewood
Yeah, actually Immortal Life might have that feature too or might get it implemented later.
@@kaedelynn it doesn’t have it, sadly. everyone keeps asking for it on steam but the developers haven’t said anything about it (or i haven’t seen yet)
@@brattyx0836 yeah I remembered later that it didn't have it, but I wasn't sure if it was in the planning
I will never support Cornucopia. it's a game with good mechs, but its a male centric game through and through. its gross characters. ugh.
