- EA Machaka: Lion Kings, is a African themed nation with a lot of different tools and utilities. While not the strongest of nations, I find them a ton of fun to play. There are several different strategies to use and a decent variety of troops and magic, while still not feeling unfocused or repetitive. Could be a great beginner nation.
Machaka even has some useable animals (and you can summon them too)!
Come find out if the nation's roar is that of a lion's or a kitten's!

RE: Blizzard. I feel the exact same way. Their games were once an automatic buy, but now I don't even look at them.
Gaming looks like it is in a cycle where a lot of the old guard is on the way out and new devs are getting a chance to shine. Look at Palworld vs anything Pokemon has done in over a decade.

Activision (for what they did to Blizzard(
Disney (for what they've done to Star Wars)
Ubisoft (for their insistence on using their launcher)
WoTC (for what they tried to do to D&D - attempt at revoking the OGL (and what they've already done to it))
There are others I'm not think of atm, but you get the idea.
Oh, btw, I don't do kickstarter or early access either. At some point it became acceptable to put all risk on the consumer and I'm not down with that.

That last minute NAP with caelum was pure cheese. You know the AI doesnt have the programing to use that system. Its RNG if they accept and its next to never broken. Flipping a switch to "turn off" your opponents isnt playing the Nation.
I don't think the possibility of a last minute war would have changed anything but how long it would take to seal the deal. I was being extra careful to fort all the thrones in this one, since I was expecting Caelum to declare at some point.
The single player diplomacy system is what it is in Dominions. I've had a couple games that using it came back to bite me. Heck, even in 5, when I was playing multiplayer, people sometimes acted irrational there too.
In the end, you can choose to use it or not. For now, I am willing to use it at times.
Right. Can you organize the Dominioms playlist to keep the pregame and stream vids next to each other plz? Makes it way more convenient for me to find the videos i need for my own purposes.

There's a Mod to fix Mictlan. If you're going to let them into your SP games you should probably use it. Wouldn't really be presenting a distorted version of the game.
I may have to relent and do just that, but on the other hand the Mictlan Meme lives!
