Excellent review! The best part of your videos is you make me feel as if I'm right there with you - you guys are the perfect companions for dining out.
First off, lets just mention Kristen's hair... Beautiful! I don't gamble, but love Vegas for the restaurants. You both like your sreaks, and Sushi Samba downtown Manhattan had an incredible wagyu. They since closed, but their Vegas outpost is still open. I've always liked GR, and that Wellington looked perfect. Who wouldn't want their meat cooked like that?!? Excellent review as always!
Haha thanks! We actually went to Sushi Samba while we were in Vegas but were with friends so we didn’t make a video. It was amazing though! And the Wellington was great! Definitely worth a try at least once!
Greetings from NY. You two always order so well. Scallops looked great, lobster as well, was undoubtedly cooked sous vide in butter (infused butter into the meat). Impressed they’re producing a high quality Wellington as I’m certain it’s a mass production item. That said, as a tourist destination, they’ve got every aspect of that menu dialed in, cheers to the management team for raising the bar for what could’ve been a mediocre Gordon Ramsey cash in.
Thank you! You’re probably right about the lobster, it looked somewhat dry but had a strong butter flavor. The last time we had a Beef Wellington was at a former Michelin starred NYC restaurant called The Clocktower, and it was definitely better than this one. But this was still fantastic! At 1:11 you can see a chef on the left side making them. We didn’t have the highest of expectations for this place but actually really enjoyed it!
My girlfriend and I are coming to Vegas in August and we plan to hit up Hells Kitchen while we are out there. She and I already had the exact same idea and plan on ordering exactly what you did. After hearing the review, do you recommend skipping the prix fix menu and risotto since the scallops and the risotto were good but not amazing? Awesome video, you two.
That's a tough question! It probably depends on if you both want your own Wellington and if the scallops and risotto are things you think you'd like. If you want your own maybe get one prix fixe and share the app and dessert plus one more Wellington. We wanted to try as many different things as possible for the video but we definitely would not have been full without the risotto and scallops! The prix fixe saves you about $15 so it is a decent deal and I don't think you'd be disappointed with either of those unless you hate peas! Have an amazing trip!
😂I wish there was a Hells Kitchen in Houston Tx! That was the best food I have EVAER had!!! That beef Wellington is to die for! I have even made Gordon Ramsay‘s recipe for beef Wellington and followed it to the tea, but somehow his came out so much better. I’ll make it again because there’s no hell kitchen close by for a special occasion. I watch all his shows. If you ever get a chance to go to one of his hell’s kitchenrestaurants Brian don’t walk if you can get a reservation. We made our reservations about three months ahead of time. If I ever get back to Las Vegas, I’ll certainly go again.
Happy to hear you enjoyed it! We watch all of his shows too so it was awesome to get to try some of his food in real life. Hopefully he opens something near you!
Hi guys, new subscriber here, I’m old and not down with the kids but you need to speak with some other TH-camrs about algorithms etc because you should have 100k plus subscribers at least. Your reviews are some of the best I’ve seen on TH-cam. Anyway I’m playing catch-up, so did you come to a conclusion about the best steakhouse in NYC ? If you ever come to London don’t go to Hawksmoor, the one in NYC looked like it used to be 15/20 years ago. My brother and I are always gobsmacked when Hawksmoor gets rated in the top few in the world, must be the NYC one. Love the reviews, keep them coming 👍
Thanks really appreciate it! We haven’t figured out the TH-cam thing yet but hopefully we get it eventually. Our favorites are probably Keens, St. Anselm and Hawksmoor but we’ve heard mixed reviews about the Hawksmoor in NYC too. We’re going to make another video about Keens eventually because I don’t think we gave it enough credit at the time!
Great review Kristin & Will. That Beef Wellington looked fantastic, however seeing the price point set at 74$ for that one, do you think the value was justified judging by the quality of the beef and the overall plate of food?
Thanks! It was excellent but no not really. If it was anywhere other than Vegas it would be a total ripoff but everything on the strip is so expensive that it seems a bit more reasonable
@@travelfuller Hey, I can't wait to check out the rest of your Vegas reviews. Although a Philadelphian (loved your report on your visit there), I consider myself a proud ex-New Yorker; and a fun occasional Vegas visitor. I think the two of you are soooooo cool! Thanks for your great work!
I've had the Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding in another GR LV restaurant. To be honest, I was underwhelmed. If this is the best of British cuisine, it's a cuisine that I would avoid.
Ramsay must have great click through value as otherwise I can’t see why anyone would go to one of his chain joints. More chance of Ronald McDonald hand making you a burger. It frustrates me that much better non famous chefs struggle while he lives of name rights.
Kinda looks like Adam Sandler.
I thought the exact same thing. I was waiting for Adam's voice. Lol
"kinda" is an understatement
Hahahaha true!
I was just thinking that as well. A younger version but WOW.
Excellent review! The best part of your videos is you make me feel as if I'm right there with you - you guys are the perfect companions for dining out.
Thanks! So glad you enjoy them!
0:04 Cold-cut combo from Subway! I eat three every day to keep me strong
grizzly adams did have a beard
Came here for the Adam Sandler comments. Wasn't disappointed.
Damn, didn’t know Adam Sandler does food reviews!!! Haha😂
Another excellent review! Keep 'em coming.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wait is that Adam Sandler doing food reviews?
So happy for you two

3:48 Gordon smashes a plate over someone’s head.

I'm not big on sweets but sticky toffee pudding is so amazing !
We’re big on sweets and completely agree!

One of these days I will try Hell's Kitchen just for the beef wellington.
It’s definitely worth a try. I don’t think we saw a single table that didn’t order it!
I’m hungry for all of those dishes and then some. Have you asked if Christina Wilson is still there? 😅
Cant wait for the next one!
Kristin, your hair is beautiful! You two do a great job!
Thanks! Really appreciate it!

I never thought a Sandler could afford all that kind of food...
This made me hungry 🤤

Vegas now at 110 degrees...yikes! The two of you must be Medium Rare by now!
More like well done! We actually filmed these back in May so it wasn’t too hot when we were there

I have eaten at a few of his places. It’s hit or miss.
He looks like Adam Sandler!!’
I get that a lot!
The first few seconds of the video I thought it was a deepfake!
Gordon Ramsay’can't even cook a simple grilled chesse
Surprised they haven’t but that terrible grilled cheese on a menu somewhere even just as a joke!
You look so much like Adam Sandler when he was younger. 😉
Click on the video got Jumped scared by Adam Sandler.
Mushy peas and scallops hmm🤔 the beef looks good though👍
Yeah the scallops you could probably skip. The Wellington and sticky toffee pudding were great!
Dude, Forks way up..........
Thanks!!
I am not a big fan of the celebrity restaurants but that beef Wellington looked delicious #wulffdendad
Yeah they’re always pretty overpriced but this one is worth going once to try everything!
278.00 roughly X 2 people 🤔🤔 😂😂
I thought this restaurant and his steakhouse were both overrated. They were good but there’s better in Vegas
