Chris Cornell had music in his dna. He writes and sings with his heart and soul. He was very into melody. No one on earth sings like him. Chris was an intelligent, spiritual, kind, funny and compassionate man. I like Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple Of The Dog but I LOVE his solo work. His album "Higher Truth" is more mellow, but the songs are incredible. Poetry with beautiful music and perfectly mixed.
Chris Cornell is just Legendary. I highly recommend you to get deeper into his artwork. His acoustic performances are also on another level.
Ben Shepherd definitely is a sludgy bassist along with Matt Cameron on drums makes for a heavy rhythm section.
Choppy.
Sometimes sloppy.

Chris Cornell is the goat 🐐🤘 I bought Louder than Love in the fall of my senior year in high school (1989)and never looked back. Truly one of the best/most unique bands of the Grunge era. Cheers for reacting to this one🤝
Chris Cornell was the lead singer, frontman, primary songwriter and lyricist for Soundgarden, as well as in other bands and also as a solo artist. Widely considered one of the best, most powerful rock vocalists of all time. The force and range of his voice were beyond incredible. This is truly one of his most furious vocal performances, roiling and raging and ripping it up. He was a storm of a lead singer.
I always recommend this track as an example of Chris’s true power as a singer.
"That guy" is Chris Cornell... Soundgarden, audio slave, temple of the dog, madseason.. and of course all his solo work. One of the best voices in Rock no doubt... Sadly took his own life back in 2017...
You can't go wrong with any of his music. But suicide isn't the way. We miss you man !!

184.0 You put my feelings into words. Never heard of Madseason, thanks for that! I have all of Soundgarden, Audioslave, and all of Chris's solo cd's also. Listen to them every day. I agree about the suicide. Makes me so sad that he was hurting that badly inside of his head. Yet, he continued to entertain. I believe he is a legend that will always live on through his music and charisma. May he RIP and find the peace and solitude that he couldn't find here with us. ❤

You're right now experiencing the best of grunge from the 90's. Chris Cornell is a music God! He writes these songs and his voice is untouchable. If you like this you should check out Audioslave also, Chris Cornell is also the frontman of this group and they're just as mesmerizing. Audioslave also had the guitarist and bass player from Rage Against the Machine which you may want to check out. But I myself and a lot of fans agree that Chris Cornell and band members are a definite work of art. Chris Cornell also did a lot of solo music that is magic. Know one will ever sing like Chris Cornell. May he RIP. He is a legend and his music is listened to every single day by many. His music will live on forever. Enjoy!

Made my week! So many more recommendations I would give for Soundgarden and Chris’s other bands. However, to really appreciate his supernatural vocals, Beyond The Wheel, live in Düsseldorf, Germany 1990, is a must. BEAST.
Fun fact, Pantera and Soundgarden shared a producer for their first few albums and hung out with each other a few times

I remember listening to this song for the 1st time in late 91 & being blown away by Cornell’s vocal performance & got the same reaction from everyone I played it for 🤤🖤you wanna hear Cornell really do his thing check out the track called “Call Me a Dog” from the Temple of the Dog album 🥹 & “Searching With My Good Eye Closed” from this album

Maybe before leaving Badmaterfinger, you might want to check out Outshined. Loved the reaction! Yes that song is very repetitive, that was kind of the motive back then. Superunknown is by far my favourite S.G. album. I recommend 98% of that album. Plan on any more tool?? Great job love your reactions!
