It's nearly spring when we get a massive blizzard in the hills leaving some of the mountain towns with 4ft of snow. We snowshoe in to the off grid cabin to see if there's any damage, and afterwards indulge in x-country skiing and snowmobiling before the snow melts and gives way to spring.

I have to tell you in 1990 we had a 1978 corvette silver and black pace car that was, shipped over from America to UK the guy we knew bought four of them... It was a memory I will cheshish forever.. I lost my husband to cancer and he was only 46 he loved his cars and it was a dream of his to own a corvette and this was a glorious car silver leather interior.. So his wish came true before he passed. 🙏💜😢

I am from the South, but I attended college in the Midwest. Your video helped to recall a January many years ago, 45 to be exact, when there was a 42 inch snowfall in a matter of a few hours. We were snowed in, so school was closed for a week. That week with friends turned out to be one of the great weeks of my life. Your videos, especially this one, help me to focus on important memories of the past in my old age.

Just recently found your channel and if I’m being honest it was your voice that caught my attention. As I listened to you talk about all the things you have going on I was reminded of a saying I heard many years ago (yes, I’m old now) that went something like “ if you want to get something done give it to a busy person”. I long for Spring. I’m too old now to enjoy the fun things that go along with winter and here in Southern Illinois we get very little snow which is sad. Be well.

It's funny to see how much snow you guys in the US have. I am from Croatia(Europe) and 30 years ago when I was a kid, we also had lots of snow, and now we hardly get an inch-two per whole winter :( big like for your videos guys!
You reflect the frustrations with weather well! Our snow broke no records but it stayed around because this was a very cold winter. Wolf Creek got over 700 inches! The pass was closed a lot because of avalanches and danger of more. Hundreds of avalanches this year. Many people lost. Tough winter in Colorado. Always love the drone flying up the river. This time deep snow on the rocks between the black water.

Loved this one! We live in Ogden Utah and woke up to a foot of snow and still going! It was fun to get up and watch this episode before heading out for a hike in the spring snow. We have also had a ton of snow this year. But have loved every minute of it! Thanks for all you do!!

Never count Old Man Winter out! I keep reminding people that we've had blizzards in April up here in the Northeast. The train travelogue was a beautiful surprise. Trains are a sign of the slower life too. You always do all of it justice. Great story.

Yup, we got the same dumping of snow up here in Quebec but nothing can compare to our ice storm last week which brought down power lines causing 4-5 days of no electricity. Not pretty at all not to mention all the wasted food we had to toss from fridge and freezer. Forecast calls for milder days ahead though . But this is our home and native land .

I love Massachusetts i bring rescue dogs up there. I love y'all winter so pretty. I thought super kewl watching people fish on lakes with big bomb fires...i travel from there to vermont is my last stop. Winter so pretty the whole way sometimes it's dangerous on 81 or 87.
