Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

One day you will find the perfect large mirror to put above the fireplace so you can enjoy looking at the magnificent tapestry while lying in bed! 🥰
❤It's a beautiful piece in your bedroom. These tapestries were once installed on the walls to keep the place warmer. It needs to be placed higher to see it better, it is actually really too low. Try it, you will be delighted by the difference. The result will be spectacular if it is well centered with your bed. Your room will appear larger. For the curtains, the white and camel one look better and more exquisit in your room. The green one look more sad there. Bot of them are going to need a sun block under them because in few weeks they are not going to be the same color... (the sun is going to change the fabric a lot...)
Thank you, Claire. Yes, we did try it but the idea of the tapestry was to create a cosy warmth behind our heads. This is specifically what Guido wanted - not sure if you remember the conversation last episode. With it any higher, the gap between the mattress and the tapestry, visible through the headboard, made it feel less cosy. 😊

Just suggested the same it hangs too low now.
I think the curtains are just not opulent enough. You have a beautiful rich tapestry behind bed and heavily patterned rug but the curtains are just too thin and insignificant for your bedroom. I'd put them in the bathroom and invest in heavy statement curtains they are letting the room down.
@@KylieFlavellyes I wouldn’t like seeing the wall between the mattress & headboard either. However it appears it could still be raised a little while keeping the cosy effect.

A big antique mirror with a beautiful gilded frame would be gorgeous over the fireplace
The tapestry is SO lovely. Is there a reason it's so low? The bed frame just eclipses the scene. No matter, it's beautiful. As long as you live it that's all that matters. And the pool fence, so well chosen. Yay, dad! The brown/cream drapes are stunning. I noticed them immediately as the video started, and exclaimed, "Yes!" Just gorgeous, Kylie.

Large rocks( small ) boulders in front of the plants might be more effective in keeping unwanted cars and trucks away from home and plants😣
Also will make a lovely addition to the beautiful blue/ purple plants as a border.
Kyle, I too loved your last video with your son. It was beyond charming and sweet. Thank for sharing such sweet moments in your life. I want to express my appreciation for your style of parenting and that you aren't using horrible plastic toys that will teach him nothing. Allowing him to touch everything and experience sights and sounds of nature is wonderful. He is adorable to watch. In today's video, your bedroom looks beautiful and romantic. I like the idea of switching the drapes seasonally. IMO, an antique previously gilded mirror that has dulled with age would be beautiful over the fireplace, with a small collection of antiqued candle holders in various heights. Lamps are the absolute worse to select. I myself have had to switch out lamps after just a few months because they are not right. Take your time, you have them fr a long time! I like the white and caramel curtains for spring and summer, especially with the dark richness of the tapestry and carpet. In winter the green curtains will complete your cozy forest.
The tapestry is lovely but I think it needs to be higher on the wall. Above the fireplace I would put a round or oval piece to break up all the angles in the room.
Put a big beautiful mirror over the fireplace to reflect that beautiful tapestry and curtains 👍🏻👍🏻

Love the armchair in the room Try and find a fabulous mirror for above the fireplace. For the lamps, don’t go too small. Taller lamps is a better proportion for the room.
A mirror over the fireplace and pick a color from the tapestry as the pop color for the lampshades.
iIlove the white and brown. The length is beautiful how it sweeps across the floor.
The tapestry could be raised just a few inches higher as it appeared as though with the bed frame it’s lost its whole affect-as long as there’s no gap showing it’ll be fine. I loved the white with brown? Bordered curtains-brings in much light. Don’t think you’d want it to be shrouded with dark items in the room. Just create a nice balance. A mirror could be nice but not overly so as you could place decor on the mantle which would be pleasant. It’ll all turn out nice I’m sure. 👏👏

You could change out the curtains seasonally. I like to change up things now and again just to have a new environment. I like both sets of curtains for different reasons. I would use the darker ones on summer and the lighter during the colder season to bring a lighter ambiance.

Love the green curtain….so well suited for the beautiful tapestry! What about rod iron sconces on each side of the rod iron bed? There are shelves which could curve out from the wall which would not have to have a lamp on them and allow more space & easier cleaning with no more floor space taken up? Some oversized green pillows for backrest against the rod iron headpiece could give coziness if you raised the tapestry up a bit OR creating an airy drape from the top of the ceiling to flow down on either side (like a bed crown) with the tapestry in the middle-private place in the embrace of the forest!

I made this for lunch. It was superb. I had some artisan bread that I toasted for the garlic toast. Just wonderful.
A wonder ornate mirror would look great on the fire place mantle in your bedroom would help bounce the light in the room and show case the new tapestry also.
Beautiful progress on your bedroom and bath!! Congratulations!! Please show us the finished bathroom in detail when you can. I have loved watching the work on it over these months but don't feel like you have done a full reveal. I hope you will. For your bedside laps, I agree they should match while the bedside tables don't need to if they are the same wood tone and scale. I recommend lamps that have brass detailing to pick up the warm metals in your magnificent bed. You will love the look of candlestick lamps for the simplicity and then just top them with cream linen drum shades. Those would be perfect in your beautiful room!!!! Good luck!!
Yes, you’re right! We’re having problems attaching the toilet seat and I wanted to add light curtains so I’ve been saving the full reveal of the bathroom renovation until we have those things sorted. 😊
I love the white curtains….as it makes it bathes the room with soft light and the rust band at the bottom hits the spot. Lovely!!!
If I might make another suggestion Kylie… the curtain rods should not extend beyond the finial. It’s looks like it’s lost.

I think the dual color curtains white/gold look richer and frame and contrast the gorgeous scenery from the outside better also I think they don't get lost but pull out the carpet gold as well. my preference :-)

Ugh! It’s not. I never seem to have the time between getting videos out every seven days and looking after Gianfranco. I just spent an hour studying the theory last night but I’ve not had another lesson since that video I filmed!

Perhaps you could consider a beautiful mirror over the fireplace. It would bounce light in the room. Also consider some beautiful glass lamps. If cut glass they would add some sparkle and not compete with other patterns. Take your time to find something that speaks to you. Part of the joy of decorating is the search. Love the rug and tapestry.

I think the white and camel drapes are PERFECT! I think since you have the sun coming in those windows, that they could fade quickly with any other colors ,so the fact that it has the white on top of the drapes is the best choice. Plus, I adore that camel color on the bottom! It's one of my favorite colors and I'm all Italian! Your home is so beautiful with you keeping the authentic looks of the period of the house. Bravo!

Consider using both curtains. Install the dark green as bookends on each window with the lighter fabric in the center, perhaps tied with a textured fabric that will match the lamps you eventually select. This will provide balance and fluidity throughout the room.

Use the white curtains in the summer months and the darker in winter. In my country people even change curtains for Christmas, so a bit of interchange is refreshing

Both sets of curtains complement the room- you could even get a 3rd option if you flip how the cream/gold pair are hung by having the gold at the top/cream at the bottom. The tapestry is absolute perfection for the wall behind your bed. I agree with Guido on placement as the tapestry envelopes you both with warmth and provides a cozy bed nest.
The white and caramel/camel curtains are lovely for spring/summer, as the white will deflect, rather than absorb, the hot Tuscan summer sun.
Though I love the green curtains, I suggest lining them with raw pale cream or champagne silk or linen - not only to give weight - but to block cold as fall turns to winter. My personal favorite is green, only because a Dark Academia vibe calls to me. Changing curtains with the seasons seems logical. Does Guido have a preference between the two?
Having your parents with you for long visits is a godsend! Your dad is so talented and helpful with projects and your mother with Gianfranco and elsewhere.

The tapestry is beautiful and perfect for the room Kylie! I think a layered look is exactly right for the villa..because of its lines and coolness of the materials used...layers give warmth and interest.. I also love the painting on the fireplace. Id keep in there, leaning not hung and build a vignet of pieces around it.. the bedside tables are perfect.. I like the idea of matching ?ceramic lamps, made by hand, sandstone with silk lampshades in a soft colour drawn from the tapestry? The room is beginning to blossom. Yes to both curtains and seasonal...dreamy! ❤
Thank you. Yes, I was thinking that, too. Perhaps even a smaller painting or sketch beside it, also leaning. I think you understand my style quite well. What exact shade would you choose for the lampshades?
@KylieFlavell Thank you..this may sound odd, but I wondered if a very soft shade of pale yellow, old rose or a celedon green...the colors in the wall hanging are deep and dominate that area..I thought something soft that was warm but a slight contrast. I'd look for old fabrics in antique shops and play with them .I think you'll know when you see it what works. I'd also look for a heavy silk or even a linen, I know you'll be able to recover a shade yourself. I love the idea of a smaller painting leaning as well. It's less formal and looks like you've collected pieces that are disparate but loved over time.. I love watching your creativity blossom. It will be lovely and a reflection of you both!
Thank you Kylie, I do love your style so I try to understand what you're trying to achieve...I went back and rewatched the clips from your bedroom. That wall hanging is simply beautiful...and I realized there are some beautiful tones of gold, cream, maybe even a soft yellow? I think I would start there and try to incorporate those shades into the room. I also felt that those shades on the border brought warmth to the trees as the sun would.. I would look for fabric pieces in antique or fabric shops and just drape them over a shade and see what speaks to you. I love the richness and sheen of a silk or a slubby linen... I also agree to adding another painting or sketch to the painting on the mantle.. I was thinking of the lamp bases..I have two very old alabaster lamps that I love.. They are a cream colour with almost a caramel veining in them. It looks like the alabaster has deepened in colour over time.Perhaps something similar with a silk shade? I look forward to seeing where you go from here with your room!

I would love to do a cookbook. It’s been a dream of mine but I wouldn’t know how to create one for a year (which is generally how long it takes) and produce these videos - they take up all my time. But I might try to work out how to do it part-time.
