The best thing I ever heard about finishing was, “think of it as a lifestyle” ☺️ I love your home so much and it really inspires me to keep going. You are right about it taking community. Thanks for passing that along!
Ya'll have a very Beautiful home!! It shows that Ya'll put a lot of blood sweat n tears into what you have now great job. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy
It looks amazing, congrats on completing your build!! Extremely practical that you guys separated the solarium/greenhouse from the living quarters as that's often a big issue with most earthships that have green house/living as open plan. They really overheat in summer with temperatures of 29C/85F indoors. Your design limits the flow of heat so you can cool it down in summer & open the windows to the green house in winter to warm the house.
@@goldiemariola-gill6522 understandable. if you do another video can you explain the grey water system a little bit more? the flow from which sinks, shower, ext go where. thank you for this video! love the earthship!

A beautiful home made with beautiful hands. You two are such an inspiration!!

Great video, very informative!!!
Thanks!
electrical hot water heater nice. is that what you use for the radiant floors?
We have the tubing in our floors but it's not hooked up to anything yet. We haven't needed to use it

Almost finished home tour kinda
Please write or share info on the dump load system!
Will do a future video on it for sure! It's a sick system!
Beautiful Home! The app doesn't seem to exist any longer, which is a bummer :( I would love to know more about the hot water system!
Thanks! And oh... didn't know! We will do another video specifically on that!
Awesome home. It's beautiful. Y'all are lucky to have this amazing. What was the total price for this build including land??
We spent $16,000 on the land and another $100,000 about on materials, work parties, permits, appliances and finishes.
@@goldiemariola-gill6522 that's amazing. It really is a stunning home you've created. Much love to you and yours.
Very nice. The mechanical room seems kinda loud. Do you regret placing it next to your bedroom?
How long it will take to build and do you live without fan inside
Earthships are pretty time intensive with all the tire pounding... It took a few years and no fan. Thanks for the comment!
It's beautiful 😍! Great job 👏! How do I get started??
Thanks! We got videos on our channel for getting started! Glad you liked it

What are the overall dimensions of the house?
They described the dimensions of the house as 55 by 35 feet if I recall correctly.
Roughly 30x60 including the greenhouse
Why the hell do the two of you need a mcmansion? Tell me you have a dozen kids at least.
No kids it's a one bedroom house
It’s about 1600 square feet with the greenhouse (far from a mansion)
And we have a whole community of people and children that we share our space with
