So where do I get the rear wheels? What size is the copper tubing. Details of what you used would be very helpful. You have given us a great idea, but have not told us what to buy or where. Thank you
Sorry, video was made too long ago to remember. Good luck!👍

Lol! That is awesome. I began the rebuild of my subaru a while back and have aquired several tools to help over time. One of those many items??? A Harbor freight engine stand and after assembled it and then broke it down a few times, I realized it was a horribly loud thing to move from place to place! I have to do my work on the cars mainly at night, due to being a stay at home dad (and a bartender /server at night) I have been getting a few hours of work in here and there. So Ill assemble the stand, throw the block on it,and wheel it to my carport(under my apartment) to work on it. I just couldn't do more than a few times. My neighborhood has become too quiet and that mofo(engine stand) is too freaking loud!!! I have been looking at castors at harbor freight and trying to find the obvious fit, but I was being too 2dimensional about it. 3d thought is your super power. Nice!
Im gonna change my name to Murphy.... as in the law. Shit that can happen...will happen...to me! I mean it. Dont get me started! Thanks for the "How to" video. Needed it!
Nice. Yes, after a few weeks of use I can say this upgrade is huge! And it is whisper quite too! Moves so easily now, almost able to push and steer it with one finger. I love it.
Very nice! Btw.. Harbor Freight has these stands on sale now. $40 for the small, $60 for the bigger one.. Can’t beat that!
Hey bro, great vid, but you should of at least gave us a test roll! Keep running this channel awesome btw! You are great!
What size are the wheels and coppoer tube size?
Enjoying all your vids man!! Keep it Up
Legit. Thanks 🤙🤙
Mate i bought one for $100 and it is awful! When i get time ill do this for sure! Really original content great video as always!
Thank you thank you thank you. Much appreciated. Cheers 🤙🤙
Boom! Simple tweak and a harbor freight stand is on a premium level. Proper hack
Hell yes!! 🤙
Um, what’s the load rating of the new wheels? Can you show the stand with an engine or load on it?
Load rating for the wheels is 400 lbs each. So all three add up to 1200 lbs. Have had several engines on it’s smooth as butter! 🤙🤙
@@SubaruONLY Great feedback. thanks for the info because I was wondering the same thing! I'm going to have to modify mine for offroad use (across the grass, lol)
Nice! 🤙
Hope this modification is not patent because I'm going to do the very same to my habor freight engine stand. Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha. Nice. Stoked to hear. It’s been a few weeks and it’s working so so nice. It’s whisper quiet, moves with so little effort now it’s amazing, like almost with one finger. Can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner! Suck a key upgrade to any stand.
Works for a light engine. However, not for me.
ok sell me the two rear steel casters for my Harbor Freight stand. Need to reinforce mine for a Jaguar Xk 4.2 liter engine. Too heavy.
Where can I buy those? Awesome hack indeed
I found the rubber wheels at my local hardware store. Has lasted for years and still works great!
@@SubaruONLY thanks, I kinda knew rubber wheels would make a huge difference. Ib just never had time to research.
👍
Why does he keep saying Boom?
Cause I have a problem...sorry about that, will try to not do that as much! Cheers!! 🤙🤙
Big Ass Wheel Engine Stand....She's Beaut !
Still use it as my go to stand. Actually gonna build a second one cause those little metal wheels are so bad on my second one!!!
The newer models don't have the axle the wheels bolt directly to the frame much better and I think they're $60
Nice. Good share man.

How much better do these wheels roll than the originals?
