    Well Doug, I took your advice and bought a Suzuki King Quad. I found a deal on used 450 model in good shape and it drives amazing. I was impressed how well the CVT performed. The 4wd with front diff lock, IRS, separate front/rear hand brakes, steel racks, reliable engine, and full size frame were the key features I was look for. Looking forward to driving this ATV for years to come. The 450 power is adequate and gets the job done. I would prefer just a tad more power, but the KQ 750 was a little out of my price range. I appreciate all your review videos, always very honest and helpful. Keep up the good work!

    If this rig was a tank and it just might be, it would be a Russian T-34. Utterly simple and robust all in one. The reliability is legendary on these machines. What more do you want? Yah, Suzuki doesn't change much, nor do they have to. If you want a fun, reliable, and beautiful machine, then this is it. One thing's for sure, this girl won't leave you stranded.

    I have a kingquad 500 and maybe mine is a 2016 then because my oil dipstick is easily accessible by your left instep. No headlight in the middle on the handles either. However, smooth as ice, rides great, perfect response in the tranny, quick and agile. Love bilateral breaks. Great overall machine compared to riding a Kawasaki 650 and Polaris 2015 Sportsman. Great overall value and quality.

      Suzuki has become a horribly run company in the U.S. They couldn't make cars as good as their motorcycles and then just when they do, they leave the market. I believe that they are trying to focus primarily on motorcycles.....pretty sad from the company that had the first 4 wheeler! They need to hire an enthusiast to run the company. Can you tell I'm irritated?

    Hi Doug, Giving you and others the heads up. The 2015 500 King has the oil dipstick access cover and what we King owners are doing from 2005 to present is ordering that part and it fits perfect for any 500, 700 and 750 King Quad. Part# 63342-31GAO-291Tejas Motorsports out of Texas is our OEM Suzuki parts dealer for Nyroc and they have many in stock at a great price and ready to ship the minute you call them. For reviews and pictures here is the link nyrocatv.com/forum.cgi?viewtopic=41645 As well a video on how easy it is to change out. th-cam.com/video/V8eSCRMsn2AN/w-d-xo.htmlyroc

    I think it still holds a good look. I have the black limited 500 with silver racks. Zilla lights on it. looks sharp. Got Primary clutch machined by NYROC ATV and goes anywhere my buddies yami 700 and can am 650 go. When Suzuki finally does update their machines it will be big news. (:

    Whats the most miles you've put on a King Quad Doug?
    I have an 06 700 with 9300 miles, the only things I've had to fix was a new fuel pump, witch is updated so you can just replace the filter every couple years instead of buying a whole fuel pump and getting the primary clutch machined because it had a bit of a groove worn in it.. Runs drives like new still!

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Morpheen999 Pretty awesome. I know a lot of people that have put a ton of trouble-free miles on their KQs. Me? I've always ridden machine owned by Suzuki so I always have to give them back every few months or so ;-)

      Check out this website. They offer a filter that goes under the fuel cap to keep dirt out of your tank. It will save your pump. www.profill-australia.com/e-store/HOME.html

    If you had to choose between the Brute Force 750, the Grizzly 700, or the King Quad 750, which would you choose? Sorry, Polaris and Can Am are not options for me.
    Please held me decide.

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Those are my three favorite machines. The BF has an amazing engine with instant power and sounds awesome. The Grizzly is good all around but I personally don't like the shifter and a park position in the tranny. I prefer a parking brake. The King is not the fastest, but it is the smoothest and because it is a bit taller geared it is quieter at cruising speeds on the trail. All are comfortable. All are reliable. And all will need better tires to make them handle and steer better. As we've shown in videos we also prefer to remove the sway bar for more flex.

    • @TheSonsOfSimon
      @TheSonsOfSimon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ATVTV Awesome, thanks for the reply. I'm leaning towards the brute. What would you spend your money on if all three cost about the same?

      King Quad. I love the smoothness and it gets considerably better mileage than the BF.

    hello... was the steering angle caster changed on the newer models... I'm about to buy a 2016 King quad EPS...

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jordan Bouchard The caster was changed on the power steering models to a proper 3 1/2 degrees. Non-EPS still run the more wicked 1/2 degree!

      @ATVTVCOM  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jordan Bouchard Well, I happen to know that answer as it was important to me ;-) We actually had some front arms changed to 3 1/2 degrees caster on a non EPS to try. Harder steering but so much better steering.

    would you ever think Suzuki would bring back in the USA the 300 King quad 4x4 I know they are sold in other countries it would be awesome, if they did and put a fuel injection on the 300 King quad and sale them for $5299.00 that would be awesome!!!!

    Got a question for ya. I have a 2015 kingquad 500 and it is up for its first service. What do you recommend exactly for the first service? the dealer says it will be 450$ which includes oil change, valve check , all oils and fluid checks, belt check. I have 500 miles on it and the oil is still perfect and clean!. the engine is perfect, I broke it in perfectly and have no problems or anything. Do you recommend the full service they advise or just the oil and such? I truly value your opinion and reviews. Thanks so much.

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Walter White Definitely change that oil. An initial oil change is very important. Most japanese engines do require a valve adjustment as well after the initial break in. I would also suggest changing the differential fluids but not as critical as the engine. Belts shouldn't need anything done to them for several thousand miles.
      You could do all the service but the valve adjustment yourself and save some money.

    • @walterwhite751
      @walterwhite751 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ATVTV thanks, yes I had all that done thinking that it is the first maintenance and all. I plan on doing the oil changes myself. How many miles or often do you recommend it? I check the oil prior to riding every time. Thanks for the help

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Walter White Good idea. Depending on how you ride, I'd check and clean the air filter every couple rides when it's dusty. I'd probably change the oil every 1000 miles, maybe 500 this next time just to make the changes even numbers ;-) Check the belt around 2500 and maybe just replace it. Probably never have to adjust the valves again ;-)

    • @ATVTVCOM

      Gotta be something loose in there. I'd pull it apart. Check the NYROC forum to see if anyone else has had any similar issues.

    • @reddog565
      @reddog565 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ATVTV call me stupid but I can't figure out that Nyroc website in regards to leaving a comment or question. the belt feels tight. I guess I'll just take it apart again. I hear nothing bad til I put the cover back on it.

    • @ATVTVCOM
      @ATVTVCOM  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you have to join the forum to be able to comment. I would pull the cover, remove the belt and see if the sheaves are loose, and take a closer look at the belt. Hopefully there's a small strip starting to come off and slapping around in there.

      I have a suggestion: don't modify the machine like you are racing or something. Also, buy a new machine after 10 or 20 years. Nothing last 30 years unless you treat it like a classic.
