I bought a 2019 Kingquad 750 a few months ago and it's great. The power feels amazing after riding my dad's 2007 Kingquad 450 for the last few years. The 450 has been through hell and back and it refuses to even break down. It's all original parts, just needs a new CV joint as it is clicking and bound to break soon. I got a Kingquad because I know they are very reliable and I got a good deal on it. I walked in wanting a 500 and walked put with a 750, glad I did because it's amazing. 100% satisfied.

Still have my 2009 King Quad 750 with close to 15 000 kms and 800 hours. Mostly ridden aggressively year round in Canada, this thing won't die and 98% of the parts are original. I've owned Honda, Polaris and Yamaha yet still stick with the King as it has a mix of characteristics of all those brands. It is a well designed, functional and fun machine with unbelievable reliability. People have gotten too power hungry and most riders don't even need all that power constantly. The King might be slower than comparable Polaris and Can Am but in tight trails it'll leave them dead in the turns as this thing is light and much more flickable than those heavy boats. It's a shame Suzuki doesn't use one of their magnificent motorcycle engine (think V Strom 650 and 1000 V-twin) and plant it in their quad because the competition would be in serious trouble.

Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback on your king quad. The power that the 750 puts out is more than adequate for most Riders. Still, we think Suzuki would benefit from using one of those big v-twins in an ATV for the status it would provide for their brand.

yeah i agree with you, im thinking about getting the king quad 750 to replace my 2011 polaris sportsman 500 ho as the axles are close to breaking and shes not doin too good but i completely agree with you calling the others boats because you know how many times ive almost flipped my sportsman? alot, actually i have flipped it 3 times

I've own a 450 king 2008 and a 500 2015 king and love them both. My biggest complaint is the plastic breaking, but with regards to reliability these bikes are awesome. I now would like a 750. I think the extra power would be great.

That's good to know I've had my 750 for a year and put about 1100 miles on it so far. I trail ride and sometimes will go a little hard. So far its handled everything I've thrown at it but I dont want to tip mine or roll it down a hill so I avoid certain things if I can. I'm getting better at being able to whip it around where I want it pretty easily. I was looking at a 500 Se plus and they had a 750 with a little paint damage I wound up getting for less. Its plenty of power for me.

Polaris might be higher performance and all that jazz, but they break. Often. I used to work in the service department for a Polaris /Suzuki /Kawasaki /Kymco dealer. We rarely ever had Suzukis in the shop with mechanical problems. Usually due to wrecks. Polaris on the other hand... Constant axles, ball joints/bearings, engine and electrical problems. As high performance and nice as they are, I'd never own a Polaris. Crappy warranty too, they fight you WAY more than the Japanese manufacturers

In my opinion, the best part about having the true 4wd with diff lock is that the machines retain the ability to have independent front and rear brakes. That's the biggest loss with a CanAm and a Sportsman. The Sportsman AWD works exceptionally well, having gone from the Grizzly 700 to the Sportsman XP1000, biggest thing I miss is the independent brakes... Great comparison, the close price point would make the decision easy for me!

  • @joekearney
    @joekearney 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I know this is an old video but the KingQuad is a nice quality machine . I traded in my sportsman 1000 on a 2022 KQ 750. I knew it didn’t have the robust power from my 3 brutes and the 1000 but it has enough . It just sorely needs snappier clutching to make better use of what it has . Lazy low end clutching . But i don’t even mind that so much anymore lol .

    • @ATVonDemand

Big-bore singles like the king quad have all the power most people need. The Suzuki's have a great reputation for reliability. While we wish they would do some more updating the fact that they haven't has kept this video relevant.

I had no clue it handled bumps better but mine rides pretty smooth for the terrain. Better tires I will get soon, other than that I have 0 complaints. Anyone that is chasing big HP numbers and fancy marketing when shopping for a ATV may end up with a questionable piece of crap ATV plain and simple lol. The Suzuki King Quad is the most reliable ATV on earth 500 or a 750, and that is all there is to it. I would rate the Yamaha Grizzly as a close 2nd or nearly just as reliable.. Any of these other exotic Can-Am or Polaris machines pushing big HP may look appealing at first. But, I have just heard so many horror stories from them.. Power will always find the weakest link! And the Suzuki Kingquad or Yamaha Grizzly are built to handle decades of hard abuse of there power that they produce while riding them very aggressive!

The front end on the 2019 looks pretty aggressive like some of the other machines. I do wish they had the black rims in 2019. I figure It's a Liability and Safety issue for the Big 4 Japanese Manufacturers.
Last year a Honda 1 up ATV passed me with 2 Hunters during the Utah Deer hunt.
I was also hunting and on foot.
It was still dark and they hit a large rock on a moderate slope and went over backwards.
Only 20' in front of me I saw that machine land on top of Both hunters with their guns, gear etc.
It was on an incline and they were unable to get out from underneath the Honda with the weight of the machine and the gear on the racks.
The hunter on the back also had the operator on top of him along with the machine.
I had a lot of adrenaline and was able to get the machine off them both.
Guns, equipment and everything was scattered all all over the place.
Both had head injuries along with bumps and bruises. (No helmets)
After seeing that, I can see where riding 2 up can be very dangerous. I would never want to go over backwards with my wife on the quad with me being the operator.
      Just say'in.
Looking for a 2022 KQ 750. Right now hard to find!

ATVonDemand I just took a zforce 500 out to Hatfield-McCoy for a serious rip and beating, I’ve been threw the vehicle front to rear and I gotta say it’s very under-estimated. There heavier then there competition but very well built and extremely strong. The tech and engineering put into there equipment is up on the level of Yamaha and Honda, with the value beating even Polaris’s price point (though it’s junk). I think you’d be impressed if you got your hands on them. The only flaw I could find is the tires they come with are hard as a rock, I’m talking 0 psi in it and you couldn’t tell. It wouldn’t flatten out what so ever or break the bead off, so ride quality will feel like crap but a good set of tires and your good. Clutching, suspension, engine, brakes, even down to fit an finish feels top notch. Nothing feels cheap, finally a china product worth talking about. I’m a fan, and I’m not an easy guy to please at all..l like it better then my Honda rubicon honestly, it feels more structurally sound then the #1 reliability focused manufacture on the planet. Keep it up, looking forward to more!

If the Suzuki is higher quality than the Polaris how will the additional horsepower affect the longevity of the Polaris? If the Suzuki is more robust would it be more reliable in the long run once you start hopping it up? So much to ponder. We have to agree, the price of that 570 out of the box or the Can-Am 570 for that matter are putting the squeeze on the Japanese manufacturers.

@@ATVonDemand ....Yes the build quality for sure is factor. But if you do a stage 3 tune on the 570 with exhaust your right at the same numbers the 750 would have with a HMF and optimizer. However in one aspect the mods actually helps the Polaris with holding up as with the ecu tune it makes the fan come on sooner and helps decrease running operation temps. The 570 is a very detuned motor from the factory and there are hundreds of guys out there running these tunes that love them and have no issues. I own both a Polaris and a Japanese machine so I know the differences between the manufactures as I try to do most my own maintenance and work. I actually love the 750 Kingquads and want one. I just think think its an interesting discussion on what you can get for your money.

    I have a 2013 axi power steering
The power steering is useless. When you need power steering, as in when your stopped or in a tight spot and trying to turn around you get NO POWER STEERING.
But when your moving you get all the power steering you don’t need.
Japanese quads have useless power steering
Both Can Am and Polaris have finger tip super easy real power steering
The suspension is jarring and make the bike unruly in rough terrain.
Other than the useless power steering the rest of the bike has been flawless...
But 1000.00 for power steering that is useless unless your moving is a real rip-off

We do believe Suzuki should release a price point Focus the machine to compete against the Polaris 570, Kodiak 450, Outlander 570, Etc. We tend to agree that people would be doing themselves and the market more good if they purchased machines they could afford to buy with cash however the entire industry is being held up now by machines that cost $20,000 to $25,000 that very few people can actually afford to purchase. For what it is worth, every time we are face to face with a manufacturer at a press event we can pretty much guarantee you that we are advocating for them to build more affordable machines. ATVs do not have to be huge or complex to be good. However part of that complexity is coming from a federal government that wants to get rid of airplanes in this constantly requiring these machines run cleaner and cleaner. Sorry for going in so many directions but it's kind of a complicated subject. Bring back 2 Strokes.

    • @Packinheat1175

ATVonDemand you’re absolutely correct. This is a game that is going on in both the automotive and recreational industries: make units that are so expensive you cant afford them except to finance them and so complex that you don’t dare keep them off warranty. I also agree this ever-moving of ground of fuel efficiency is just ruining these products. I purchased a new Honda CRF250L last year (cash). It barely had enough power to be streetable due to its tuning for efficiency and high gearing. 6th gear was completely useless on the road unless you were going down hill. You pretty much have to drop another $3000 on a $6000 bike to get the performance you should get by adding different exhaust, fuel mapping etc.
The price and of things like cars and student loans are going to cause the next crash, mark my words. People financing ATVs is insane an just more proof people may not have learned as much as we hoped for the last crash.

there are affordable machines, like the bruteforce 300 (aka kymco mxu 300) but no one buy it.
I'm pretty sure it's a very fun machine tho.
I have an Ace900SP and a kymco mxu150 (yes, 150cc) and in thight spots i have as much fun throwing my super lightweight atv as riding provincial trails in my SP. It's a different fun but still as fun. you need to do with what you have instead of trying to tame the power.

That would depend on what the owner uses it for. Some people do low speed utility work with their ATVs and may not have the space or desire to run one at full speed. Regardless of what the ATV is doing, the 750 will burn more gas, generate more heat and cost more to maintain its DOHC engine. The 500 has the same heavy duty chassis, towing capacity and Diff lock as the 750. For some buyers, the 500 makes more sense.
