External cooling fans are a complete scam. They are either completely unnecessary or even just disrupt the airflow within the system.
I know the fact that he put them in his video is questionable, do your research kids
You're actually better to buy a Laptop Fan for the Console to sit on if it's getting too hot. Laptop Fan blow cool air Around the Console or Laptop sitting on it and they can be powered by a USB cable attached to a USB plug. A Laptop Fan helped me to keep my Console cooler when playing Red Dead Redemption 2, boy did my PS4 overheat when I played it, even though I cleaned it out regularly.
@@gordonjamescowiest this is about ps5 not ps4. No cooling from the base of the ps5 is going to work. It was not designed for air flow from the bottom.

Stand with fans is a scam and doesnt cool the system it can make the system hotter by using more energy and blowing warm air back into the playstation

I used a very similar, basically identical looking vertical stand for my PS4. As a stand it worked great and looked good. I have read from several outlets that because the lower fans are laid right on the ground that the flow of air leaves a lot to be desired. You’d have to put something hollowed out underneath and even remove the bottom of the lower fans in order to get a true open airflow. Beyond that on mine all 3 of the USB ports stopped working after a few weeks. Might not be the same company but they look identical

I love the idea of the cooling fan stand, although I agree that the fans may only return little if any more benefit to the cooling of the PS5, the stand itself is neat and better looking than the original PS5 stand but also I would benefit from the 3 extra USB inputs and the 2 controller docking stations in the one device.

You’re definitely right about the controller battery life. I had to buy an extra controller so I wouldn’t have to keep charging one. The battery pack would be great for solving the charge issue

i love the battery expansion packs for the dual sense controllers, i always run out of juice with my little brother and we wind up having to dock the controllers till they juice up.
That black stand super nice all I saw was white. I like the charging back the best though. Double the lifespan and I hadn’t even heard of or seen battery packs

Thanks Alex 👍 Just a tip which might help with extending the controller battery 🔋 Im not sure if it will work for the PS5 controller but it certainly does help on the PS4 so its worth a shot. On the console, set the controller lightbar settings to dim instead of normal(bright) mode. This will atleast add another 1hour of gameplay. Thanks again for the awesome content.👍
