half of these routes are either wrongly named, wrongly explained, or just straight up lies about what the route is. i.e. the fade is nowhere near the same as a go route, and what you call a wheel route is actually an out and up. wheel routes are started by looking like a flat route, then rounding off the route to go from flat to straight vertical. Also a "hail mary route" is just 3 go routes with a deep post in behind them, or potentially a goalpost route, which is just 4 go routes angled towards the middle of the field instead of straight vertical
Not EVERY route. But still decent info. The wheel described here is actually an out and up or chair route and then you missed a few like a swing, pivot, post corner, and drag (which is similar to dig)
Forgot an actually wheel route which is ran from both wrs and rbs. And hail mary is not a route its a play. The wheel route you put in the video is not called a wheel
@@EverythingExplained101what does hmmm mean? It's not the same thing, A go ball is running full sprint down the field A fade is only for redzone, because they FADE into the back corner and it's a jump ball kinda route
I thought about breaking them into 2 different routes, but after all they are just different in the types of leverage ... But anyway thank you for the suggestion ^^
@@EverythingExplained101 they're not, though. they're entirely different concepts. a fade is specifically a route that breaks towards the back pylon of the endzone to attempt to outjump the corner. believe me when I say this doesn't even scratch the surface of the one position it covers. Despite being an excellent breakdown of the routes a Wide Receiver can run, you have to run each of these routes against different coverages and in different scenarios. There are upwards of 20 positions on a "fake football" team and each of them have these high levels of intricate detail. It's one of the reasons I love the game so much!
Btw, if you introduce the concept of go being called 9, you should follow up with the basic route tree and explain 1-8
Great idea. I will do an updated video soon^^
Me watching this knowing every single one like the back of my hand
Well you and your buddy are missing some basic routes didn't even do 0 through 9 properly 😂😂😂

The whip is literally God's favorite route.
Very good explanation of routes....
THANK YOU!!!!!! I have been looking for a vid like this!
Awesome^^
my favorite redzone route is the whip because wrs and tight ends can do it and get open very easy
Yup… the double whip by JJ vs the Colts was sick!
Forgot an actually wheel route which is ran from both wrs and rbs. And hail mary is not a route its a play. The wheel route you put in the video is not called a wheel
A go route is NOT a fade. See Steve Spurriers Florida team for an example.

Ceedee cooking on all of these routes. Whoever said he’s not an elite route runner is hating cuz wtf. He got the whole route tree.

I always thought wheel was when they head out towards the sideline then cut up field and basically run a go from there.
cause im pretty sure thats what it is. thats what madden says it is so
Thank you for this.
My pleasure!
That’s not what a wheel route is?
I know what he showed was an out and up not a wheel.
What does a wheel route look like?
@@bofi1280it’s similar to a bubble, but you don’t stop and turn you curve and run out then up the sideline

Save all of that for another Video: every RB route explained ^^
Knowing the NFL playbook in less than 5 minutes is COOL.

a whip is also known as a zig if anyone ever hears it as that
Good to know^^
That drop by the Diva😂😂

For not being a football channel this was great. Keep up the good work .
We called the corner route a "flag route." Maybe I'm just old....
I for one liked the vid
A fade is a different route to a go
What's a flare route
W amount of cowboys plays
Post corner
Yeah… basically jut snap any 2 routes together into a double-move one and we have a new route ^^

Never thought the fake football is this sophisticated;))
Of all things that the US stole, the name “football” is the most outrageous. It’s nothing like something evolves around the “foot”
The Real football is very sophisticated :D
way more complicated than soccer buddy

horrible editing, sound effects and script.
