- Today I review the iPhone 14 Pro Leather Case on the Umber Variant. I give my thoughts on the product and wether I think you should buy it or not.

Today I've bought this case, umber for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It's lovely! The colour is nice, the texture is good, it's just prefect!

Been using the apple leather case since the 12 series, this particular color really caught my eye.

I love the leather cases that Apple puts out, the look and feel are great. But I have switched to the silicon case because of the cutouts at the bottom. As you pointed out in the review, the leather cases leave the bottom speaker and microphone grills open, and for me a lot of dust accumulated in those openings on my leather case, and I had to routinely clean it. I much prefer the design of the silicon cases where the grills on the bottom are closed off with just dot cutouts. Great review dude! God Bless!
Be very careful with silicone! I never go longer than a year without a corner wearing off of my silicone cases with normal wear and tear. They are not the most durable!

The down side is that the silicon cases peel off very quickly and not so durable! I’ve had leather cases for a long time and the cases are very durable and age very well!

It’s the best case imo … got the black one now for two years in my iPhone 12 and ordered it again this week since I scratched it badly against a sharp metal peace at work :/

What is the best leather case for space black?
I kind of like this colour but I loved the saddle brown. That one had less coating on it and it aged beautifully. I hope it comes back.
Never had the saddle brown. But that’s a good one for sure
@@AndrewClare the older saddle brown cases were the best. I loved them for the patina. iPhone 12 and newer models got extra coating on the leather cases. To make it look new longer I guess.
Some people sand down the coating to get the patina.
I had the 11 pro leather black and I don’t remember it being any different to be honest
I can also vouch for the Saddle Brown. Would love to see that come back, aged like fine wine.
Can someone please make a review on the Mevuda case. They look really good.

I saw a video saying these leather cases have a thicker coating so they don’t patina like previous versions (when iPhones still had curved edges). Imagine the case patina on and around your Wallet but not underneath it (leaving two toned leather cases)
Exactly what I’m worried about. The 13 pro golden brown wore horribly. The saddle brown on the X was eXcellent
We’ll have to see. I haven’t heard that and Apple says it should patina over time
I think umber overall is just a nicer brown. But we’ll see. I’ll probably do a 6 month check in

Is it really grippy. What level of grip 1 bar of soap-5 super grip. Last year case was slippery.

Do you get the little animation (like magsafe) installing the case to the iPhone? I don't, so not sure if I got an original case from Amazon :(.

How does it look after this time? I want mine but I don't know how it ages with time
I use it the majority of the time and it’s holding up pretty good so far
@@AndrewClare unfortunately the aging process takes much more time than previous leather cases I've used (since iphone 5s). I hope it will get the patina look as that's the reason I chose the brown color. I expect to get much darker tone - probably something similar to that camera frame.

Still on iPhone 13 PM - using the apple leather case. Truly love this case - but man does the leather tear so easily. I don’t mind the leather aging - but the tearing is annoying.
Literally tore it the next day after recording this
No idea. It’s small. And can be buffed out. I’ll probably do a 6 mo later video

My go to daily would be the apple leather case. Right now I’m in review mode so try a new case pretty much every week
