I love this pattern! This would make a great quick prayer shawl for somebody who’s really suffering through this pandemic. My family, like so many, are mourning the loss of my amazing brother. 💔. The gift of a prayer shawl is so awesome when someone is grieving. Since I’m a painfully slow knitter, it’s great to have a pattern like this that will whip up a little faster. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! I love your soothing voice and truly appreciate your thoroughness. Please everyone stay safe and hold onto your loved ones. 🙏🏻💜👼🏻
Whaaaat?! I literally just finished knitting a project and wanted to make a shawl next. Came on TH-cam to look for a new shawl to cast on and this one was JUST posted. It's meant to be!!! And I have the perfect yarn for it, too!
Ha ha!!! I'm doing it.... took three times starting over with you and voila....yay!...you make it so easy.... the reason I had to start over is I tried without following step by step but watching you did it for me...you are my inspiration.... hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹
I haven't really knitted much in the last few years so this is gonna get me back into it.... much appreciated for the pattern...thank you for sharing this with us... hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹
Somehow I feel a nautical or sailor navy collar could evolve with the long ends. So pretty. Thank you for your knitted tutorials I am a visual learner ... Thanks!
Thank you spider another beautiful knitting tutorial so grateful for these as a change from crochet it’s nice to have something of both on the needles love it ❤️Amanda xx
A lovely shape, thank you. I'm doing a shawl with malabrigo Mora, at the moment, I thought silk would be easier crocheted, so a Seaside shawl it is, again. I love the shape, and I use 2 colourways. 😊 💕
I’m a new subscriber and I love your videos. I am going to try a new blanket with one of your tutorials. I love how well you explain your stitches and how you do multiple rows in the pattern. Thank you!!
Thanks for the very nice shawl video I have a thread in stock so I'll start Add to that your video has fun, that's I like your kind words and can study English
Have you tried an icord bind off or pico bind off.??I haven't but thought maybe you could teach us another new technique..🕷🕸🕷🙏hugs from Milwaukee. I am going to make this as well.🌸
I really enjoy your tutorials. You explain things very clearly and go through a repeat an extra time just to make sure we understood. This pattern has a beautiful shape. It’s too bad I don’t knit (except on the Addi machine). Is there any chance you could come up with a crocheted pattern with this shape? Thank you for all you do.
Christa Rayhill Lemons omg was he? I haven’t seen that movie in years. But I do LOVE Cary Grant. 🥰 Sounds like a lovely afternoon, knitting a shawl and watching Cary Grant 🥰🤣
Thid id lovely! I';ve been working on knitting again after a 6 year hiatus and getting most frustrated with the projects I've attempted. This might be the perfect project to get my knitting mojo back! Do you think this would do well in LB Landscapes ? I caught it on sale last year and have a lot of it! Thanks!
Thank you for this new shawl pattern! I really like the heart shape concept, as the shawls with the top line straight can be hard to keep on the shoulders. Is there a pattern for a rectangular heart-shaped shawl in crochet? I have had people ask for something like that without the point down the back, but I haven’t found anything yet that ‘speaks’ to me. 😉
I'm having trouble finding #13 (9mm) circular needles in the 48" length. So far only 36" available. Will this length be OK? I'm a crocheter but have done some knitting and this looks very doable.
I knit and crochet both. I totally don't understand why you don't crochet the bind off. It's so much easier and just maybe get people to try crocheting also. It's a win win
This is so beautiful. I am not a knitter but I am going to try this!! Can it be done on regular needles instead of circular ones. Love your tutorials Fiber Spider!!🧶🌸
It can but it would be tiny. Like a doll sized shawl! The straight needles can only hold as many stitches as can fit on the length of the needles. The circular ones can hold so many more so you can get a much wider shawl. I can’t wait to try this one! 💗
This is the perfect 👍 shawl with an excellent tutorial that isn’t hard to follow. Thank you from Australia 😊
Just watching some of your older videos and I love all the shawls you are knitting.
i’ve been looking for a heart shaped shawl ever since i watched 2019 little women!! i’m hyped to make this, just ordered the yarn!!
Thank you!!! I just love your way of instruction. Just PERFECT. ❤❤
