Very nice and modern house. Excellent design. If you don't have visitors, the office location is very good. Spacious bedrooms, spacious bathrooms (this is not often the case). I would like to live in such a house.
I love the large pantry and kitchen, especially the cabinets. The garage is very small, and hardly any storage area - where are you supposed to store the Christmas decorations? The little office could hardly fit a desk and file cabinet, so rather useless., as I would rather have a larger deck, with maybe some screens and a place to put a BBQ. Love the upstairs bathrooms.
The homes you tour are beautiful and dramatic but I have not seen one yet that I would live in. Where is the comfort, the charm, the warmth, the character?
Pocket doors are awesome because they save real estate in the rooms. Don’t block things and give you a lot more ability to have furniture in different places than with standard doors.
Only one question, when you were in the master, how quiet was it? I noticed busy traffic outside, did it have that quiet, comfortable, temple-like, feel to it?
It's a gorgeous house but the island has no room for seating with all the drawers. It's very weird. I don't like that. I would have it put in without the drawers. The pantry is plenty big with all the other cabinets too. Unless you are running a restaurant out of your house, no one has that many pots and pans to store lol.
I was thinking about how you don't want to piss off the companies that let you do videos of their homes for sale. But just some of my thoughts. Saying a front guest bedroom with a full bath can be ab office - that's $39K for a full bathroom and who would want to throw away $30K just for an office ? You should point out that side drive garage door openers are an upgrade and definitely better than the "traditional" openers ? Waterfall edges on the kitchen island and open shelves will someday soon become a trend that died in the 2020s. Very few of the homes you show have a water drain pan under the washer when the laundry room is upstairs. When the washer upstairs starts leaking, wouldn't you want the water to drain down a drain instead of just spreading on the floor and leaking through downstairs ?
I love this home, but there is no way. If I wanted bright natural light that I would buy a 1.9 million dollar house with floor to ceiling windows in a bedroom on the ground floor. Every person in that neighborhood has a line of sight into it. If there is an HOA, ya ain't putting tall enough privacy fence outside those windows up to help with that. The traffic outside? Nope. They did do a nice job on it though. Build elsewhere if you like it.

Love this house. Only thing I don’t like is the downstairs guest room location. I’d swap the office with the guest room and it’d be perfect.
I agree, although I also like an island in the kitchen to have seating, so I would have to change that too!
Same! ❤
I thought the office location was refreshingly different.
And I don't want a guest smack dap in the middle of my kitchen. 😊
I'm really digging the black and white theme in the kitchen, master bath is nice as well. Great pantry too.
I simply love everything about this house especially that kitchen and pantry. Thank you for sharing and congrats on the new bundle of joy.
First room I’d use it as a flex room with French doors
😶 absolutely speechless...two thumbs up 👍💪

Very beautiful simple home.
Love this beautiful home Timothy , the layout and decor are winners in my opinion and many blessing to you, Jen and the kids. 🏡👏🏻👏🏻🏡.
Fantastic pantry. My cereal would find happiness in that pantry.

Nice. I wish the island had places for stools.
No tub in the master bathroom? And why do builders insist on pocket doors?

Beautiful architecture, but seems so cold and sterile.
Why is this anything like you’ve ever seen?
Made you look right? 🙃
Sorry black and white yuck colour change lol❤
I don't think modern is my jam; it just feels so cold.

Looks like an office building. Sorry, but little character and too stark for my liking.

Awkward spacing of office imo. Not my style, cold and lack character. Bring back the farmhouses! Lol
Design is "modern" not My choice for colors or style.
Nice home but this does not scream $1 mill plus.
