speterj Well I guess you could say it's been around ever since we started hitting rocks with sticks but with that logic you could say hockey, pool, or baseball has been around thousands of years.
I don't like how the play courses 100 times...know exactly what laser distances and have the nerve to need caddies. You don't see a basketball player with a caddy on the court telling him to take a 3 pointer. Golf is not a sport...I remember that commercial years ago when a golfer said to a Nascar driver... "well that's not a sport"....Nascar isn't a sport..but it's 100 times more a sport than darts that's 90 year olds can play. (Sorry...not darts...golf...Same thing ;)
@@tastycookiechip It's a skill. You can say it's a sport in the genre of me throwing a paper towel into a trashcan versus others. It's a sport but, not an athletic sport. Similar to darts or horseshoes. (And I have played golf for so many years and I'm an athlete..as in trained)
