Alberta Road Trip: JASPER in the WINTER! (Icefields Parkway Part 3)

- If you're looking for a winter wonderland full of outdoor adventure, Jasper is the place to be!
If you're new to this video, this is part 3 of our Icefields Parkway adventure. First, we drove from Banff to Jasper, which is one of the world's most scenic road trips, and then we spend a few days in David Thompson Country. Combined, this is an epic 7-10 day trip.
In this video, however, we focus entirely on the mountain town of Jasper, Alberta. We ski at Marmot Basin, go ice climbing with Rockaboo Adventures, take a walk in frozen Maligne Canyon with SunDog Tours, and go fat biking and skating at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Very nice. Thank you for post this video. I saw other videos in summer's Jasper, but in the winter is the first time I ever seen like this. The ski, skate, biking and hiking looks like a big adventure in the winter. I will be in your country one day. ❤️🇧🇷
That would be awesome! Yeah, the summer it can be a very busy place, but in the winter, so much beauty and almost no one!
We love jasper. We will drive 3 plus hours each way in the summer to kayak for the day. Often go to the lakes around JPL - Beauvert and Annette. Beautiful.

@@RustyCroom Oh really? haha learned something new. Yeah, I don't know how the backcountry skiiers do it. Seems like a lot of work for one run down. Do you do that?
@@MustDoCanada Haha Only when I have to! Skinning is much easier. But a helicopter, cat or lift is much easier...:)

I think so, but in the winter, it's definately more slippery so you'd want to consider those ice cleats or something like that on the bottom of your feet. In the summer, totally fine
