Oh my! I’m a 77 year old grandmother and I’ve fallen in love with your community! So well thought out and so LOVED! I would feel so safe here! Wish I was a bit more mobile and I’d be knocking on your gate! Seriously, so very lovely! Much happiness to ALL who share your plot of land! Namaste 🙏🏼🥰
I enjoyed this tour, and especially love how tiny homeowners personalize their spaces to suit their needs. I hate that the tour had to come to an end. Stay blessed. Namastgo!
Yeah we feel we are pretty unique with storm shelters. Our friends Brett and Mindy that own Tiny House on the Prairie in Decatur, TX gave us the great idea!
I love how simple and carefree and calm this community is. And the way you all come together as more like family than just random renters. This sounds like the perfect place to put a tiny home. And all the homes shown in this video were so very nice.
Yes we enjoy hanging out together to better the community or play bingo or celebrate holidays! We are all on a text group to celebrate life's wins and whine sometimes are life's difficulties.
Looks like a really lovely community. (The one resident probably shouldn't mount their TV so close to the wood stove though.) All in all it's really charming with great amenities (dog park, gardens, fire pit) and great owners.
Thank you so much! It truly feels charming so I am glad that came across. (PS. The resident with the TV on the stove moves it when she needs to use the wood stove) ;)
I think having lived in a tiny home for three years as well as having had my tiny home in both an RV park and a tiny living community that it helped me understand more what people were looking for. We are more grass roots tiny living community. We don't have the fancy gates or ponds but we have lots of community!
It’s a nice community for sure. The one thing that caught my attention repeatedly, though, was how much water was being wasted by hand watering. In these dry times, being more conscious of water usage goes a long way. Plus, overhead water can burn the plants and not get to the roots enough.
Great ideas! We actually just added a rain barrel and will be adding more so we can use that water. Also my husband often uses the run off from the RVs and THOW that we catch in buckets to water.
What a great couple. I would love to have a tiny home community in my country. We are so behind still with regulations that allow it. One day I will get my tiny home though 😊
Keep manifesting and expecting someone to say "YES"! When I had my tiny home and was working in the city of Dallas, I ended up being the first tiny home in an RV park that told me "no" for a year! Now they have a whole tiny home section!
We don’t have any RV parks here in New Zealand… I guess we are such a small country and population that it hasn’t become a thing yet. We do have a website though for people looking for places to put their tiny homes or people with land looking for tiny homes to situate… so we are starting to move in the right direction (though mostly that’s just for single tiny homes rather than multiple). But all the council regulations do make it difficult in some areas. I’m keeping the dream alive though and will sell my home eventually and build a tiny 😊👍
1 suggestion in your shelter have a 72 hr emerg bin per shelter. I see something but don’t know what. Food, water, non fire heat and light. I say non fire cause they need oxygen and would take away what you have. Let’s say by chance a wicked storm comes out but debri falls over the doorway locking people in. Makes sure 5 people can survive 72 hrs
This captivating video triggers a flood of painful memories from the end of my 6-year relationship just three months ago. The woman I loved with all my heart chose to walk away, leaving me grappling with an insurmountable sense of loss. Despite my relentless efforts to salvage what we had, I'm left feeling disillusioned and unable to imagine a future without her. Despite my attempts to move on, I'm drawn to express my deep-seated longing for her here.
The struggle to release someone dear to your heart is undeniably arduous. I empathize, having experienced a similar circumstance when my 8 year relationship concluded. Refusing to accept defeat, I pursued every conceivable avenue to reclaim his affection. Eventually, I sought the assistance of a spiritual counselor, whose wisdom and intervention played a pivotal role in reuniting us.
@@MichaelHawthorne-t9sI suppose you could try with this spiritual counselor. However, I am not convinced that this is the best or healthiest path for you to follow. When someone chooses to walk away from you, sometimes it is best to accept it, learn to love yourself and don’t waste all your energy chasing someone who left you. No one should have to beg, plead or convince someone to love us. Let her go. If it is meant to be, she will come back to you. Period. If it is not meant to be, there is something (or someone) different and wonderful in your future.
Hello , can you tell me a little be how works, , Iris Only Adult Community Living? Can I Move My Own Tiny House or I Have To Rent One From You Guys? Is Any Other minority Live there? The You Accept Kids? And you can share some prices?
The owners said that they are inclusive and accept all genders, age, etc. You have to bring your own tiny home. The rent is $550 per month, it's located in Texas. I don't know if kids are accepted - you can ask/ call them.
I wonder if anyone ever unhooks their tiny house from hook-ups and hauls it away from the area during natural disasters like here? That seems smart and I wonder if in practice it is
That would make so much sense! Some smaller TH might be able to. But for most, it would not be as easy to do that. Tiny homes are not like RV's in many ways and one important one is that they weigh much more so one would need a 1.5 ton+ truck to haul.
That would be difficult, I think. Most TH communities (that I've seen) allow 2 dogs only (maximum). You'll have to downsize on dogs too (or wait for one/ some of them to pass).
Yeah that is understandable! We are avid dog lovers over here, but tiny living makes it more difficulty to have a large number of dogs in a small space.
We allow either way. We have some owners that take them out on a leash. Given we are in the country and can hear coyotes at night no one lets them out off lease. We have one home that has an outdoor catio. This way their cats can go in and out of the house through a dog door and they get to enjoy nature safely!
We totally understand the Texas is not everyone's cup of tea. At times it is not ours either (cue the heat and tornadoes), however it is home. Everyplace has both positive and negative aspects.
You can't live on love on this planet. As a retired City Planner, I know buying this property and installing the water, electric and septic systems, plus grading and drives cost a LOT of money and they have to maintain the property too. Your comment about making money by renting spaces to live after putting at least $500k into this project (which is a low estimate) into this project is mean-spirited and uncalled for. I think paying $550 a month is very affordable and the site is beautifully done, has a lot of amenities and I applaud this couple for developing this tiny house village.
You multiplied the lot rent by thy number of lots and that's it? You didn't think about any of the expenses or the value they provide to the residents who didn't have to build their own property. Gotta look at everything.
Thank you all for responding. We really don't need to add anything as you all covered it. It was very expensive to create a community for all the reasons you listed. But we are different than most as we did this as a couple with love and intentions for creating just this type of community. We are not a big corporation. Our residents see us out there weed eating, planting flowers, building the dog park. We both also work 40 hours a week, but this is our passion. We understand that at the heart of tiny living was to be able to live with less expenses. Therefore, we are intentional with rent and offer a RENT FREEZE for our residents, so they can enjoy no rent hikes for five year.
Awesome, I'll take 1 million more of these communities please...
same ❤🙌🏼💪🏼🖖🏼
One of the sweetest Tiny House communities I’ve ever! Thank you for supporting Tiny House and bringing such good energy to this community! 🙏💃🏻💞
Yes! Good vibes only over here!
This is the sweetest thing ever!!! I love that they did this for a whole community of people. I hope they are always blessed by the Lord Jesus
We feel super blessed by the Universe!

Ahhhhh! You are so kind! We love that our intentional community and culture is able to be felt from near and far!
The tiny homes are beautiful.
What a lovely couple who have created such a peaceful community! We need more of these! :)
Yes we do
We do! We are hoping to open more just like it in the future, but want to make sure they have the same peace and culture.
So instead of caravan parks you have tiny home parks, but you get to individualise your home so that is great❤😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I enjoyed this tour, and especially love how tiny homeowners personalize their spaces to suit their needs. I hate that the tour had to come to an end. Stay blessed. Namastgo!
Good for Molly heart & Chuck love& support!! Well done!! It is very hard to find places to park & make home. This is awesome!
Wow storm shelter 🎉🎉
And dog park and community garden, fire pit. So thoughtful.
Yeah we feel we are pretty unique with storm shelters. Our friends Brett and Mindy that own Tiny House on the Prairie in Decatur, TX gave us the great idea!
I love both the tiny houses that we were provided a tour of.
What an awesome thing they are doing. May you be blessed.
Love learning how the community started! It’s seems like a wonderful place filled with lovely people😊
It sure is!
I just Loved that they created this community ❤❤❤❤
What a wonderful and accepting tiny home community! Y'all did it right! Wishing Nama-stay Bright Blessings and wonderful success!🥰
We will take those lovely blessings!

Very beautiful couple and family Very happy for you guys Love from Colorado 🌲💕
We LOVE CO!!! Sending love right back!

Very cool!
Awesome ❤
Thanks it's a nice looking place..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
It really is!
Storm shelters are a very nice addition! Looks peaceful 🩵
Any plans on expanding in the future?
We hope to, but are still new and want to have this place fully settled before we would begin another one.
I remember seeing the last woman’s tiny home, but I can’t remember where I saw it. 😅
Looks like a really lovely community. (The one resident probably shouldn't mount their TV so close to the wood stove though.) All in all it's really charming with great amenities (dog park, gardens, fire pit) and great owners.

Thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure!
Great video as always.
This is so dope!
Great place to live.
What a cool idea. Hope this becomes a normal thing.
Thank you for the great video! I really enjoyed this one 🩷
Glad you enjoyed it!
@TinyHouseGiantJourney you did an AMAZING job!
Great idea and inspiring. We need more of these type of communities for sure.
I love this place it's so beautiful and peaceful, Molly and Chuck seem to have thought of everything! What a wonderful place to call home : )

Love TINY HOMES!!❤
Glad county allows this. A lot of counties like the extra revenue of a larger house with taxes.
Cute play off of Namaste. Looks like a great place to live.
Awesome community and amazing owners! Great idea❤😊
Thank you MaryAnn!
How wonderful!
It’s a nice community for sure. The one thing that caught my attention repeatedly, though, was how much water was being wasted by hand watering. In these dry times, being more conscious of water usage goes a long way. Plus, overhead water can burn the plants and not get to the roots enough.

Great tour and info! ❤
Love tiny homes
I love this for yall! This is amazing
Great idea.
I am truly happy for both of you and your lovely family❤
Thank you sooooo much!

@@kiwigirljacks You could pioneer the movement in New Zealand!
Love the lady that had the tv for the cat 😂 my kinda people 👍👍
She is an awesome resident who LOVES her animals!
Nice concept!
The tv on the mini wood stove 😮
I just love your part♥️♥️♥️ You guy’s are awesome🥰
Awe! You made us blush! You are awesome!
Love this community ❤😊
Thanks so much!
TV for the cat was my favorite part.

Thank you for the suggestion! We actually do have chairs, wind up flashlights and water in each shelter!
Love a lot welcome
Nice property!!!😊🎉❤
Thank you so much! We love it!
I CANT EVEN IMAGINE THEIR COUNTY WOULD GO ALONG WITH A BACKYARD TURNED INTO A TINY NEIGHBORHOOD
JUST THE LIABILITY!
Great point! We are in the county and not city, so zoning and what you can do with property is much more open! Also we have liability insurance.

From ON Canada 🍁
Hey Canada! What a beautiful place to have a community. I am not familiar with the zoning up there. Do you all have communities?
Hello , can you tell me a little be how works, , Iris Only Adult Community Living? Can I Move My Own Tiny House or I Have To Rent One From You Guys? Is Any Other minority Live there? The You Accept Kids? And you can share some prices?
Looks like max is 2 people per lot.
I saw a tee shirt on one resident promoting equality. That should be a good sign that Nama Stay is inclusive. 😊
The owners said that they are inclusive and accept all genders, age, etc. You have to bring your own tiny home. The rent is $550 per month, it's located in Texas. I don't know if kids are accepted - you can ask/ call them.
I would be scared about falling out of that bed😢
You can have a bedroom on the main floor and use the loft for storage.
I wonder if anyone ever unhooks their tiny house from hook-ups and hauls it away from the area during natural disasters like here? That seems smart and I wonder if in practice it is

Very nice, but not interested in living in Texas.
We totally understand the Texas is not everyone's cup of tea. At times it is not ours either (cue the heat and tornadoes), however it is home. Everyplace has both positive and negative aspects.
So they're making 12 to 13 k a month. Yes altruistic.
They did purchase the land and pay for the amenities and property tax.
