My read on the whole situation is the doppelganger Turtles are either to fight the regular turtles or more than likely get everybody pissed off at the turtles so the Armageddon games can start
I just had a crazy thought! What if The Foot Had their own Turtles? No like trying to pull a Bebop and Rocksteady or Toka and Razora, but 4 highly trained turtles but under the foot? I mean we have seen how much damage just ONE turtle under the Foot can do, just think about 4 that are not our four guys, but four totally loyal to the Foot!

If they are given names, I'd suggest names that oppose the main 4 turtles' names. In their case, since the main characters are named after Renaisance artists, I'd bet maybe a play on those names. Clone Leo name: Vince derived from Davinci Clone Raph name: Vino derived from Urbino Clone Donnie name: Nico derived from Niccolo Clone Mikey name: Vico derived from Lodovico And all the names sound very similar, perhaps it can play as a theatric way of saying the clones look the same, with the exception of their weapons.

Another theory is that they are the “Dark Turtles” from the 2k3 show, specifically the season of fast forward. It’s more likely they are the doppelgängers though.
I think Baxter Stockman or the demon woman hired the mad scientist to create the doppelgangers so they can fame the ninja turtles and prepare the city for the Rat King's game.
The rodent-like creature in the lab with the pronounced teeth is reminiscent to me of some aliens that appeared in the animated Clone Wars series that aired on Cartoon Network before Star Wars Episode III was released. That's what first came to mind when I saw it in this video.
What if they are the turtles that were in the tank at the end of 'the last ronin' like female kasey is gonna raise the next mutation. But obviouslt these are 2diff story lines but my imagination is on fire with all things TMNT lately. Just so excit3d fpr more content instead of the same old repeat material🤗
After watching all of your videos (which started on the dark part of the tmnt) I'm going to start with the last ronin comics then I'll continue with the rest of the comics, and I'll get to this part of the comics, I'm excited to start the Armageddon games, especially now that I know Venus is going to be a part in it
I theorize the turtles are Barlows doing he was asked by an unknown client to make replacements or fake turtles. we know failed with Venus but seeing her come to alive and reversed the processes on the ones in the vat. As for who hired Barlow either it's hob who said he needed to create a mea s to tear down the wall and replace the turtles. It could be Baxter needing someone who impersonate the TMNT and instigate a war like the one hinted at by Lita thus we see Armageddon game play out.
Maybe they are not even clones. They could be the team.. but poisoned or mind controlled. Not the first time. Lets remember that both Splinter and Leonardo fell pretty hard on The Rat king's powers before. But yeah, sounds like with Donatello's body, Dr. Barlow might have what he needed to create successful clones.
After reading this comic book My prediction for the next issue is Venus going to let the turtles know about a pair of Doppelgangers are running around which going to lead to the mystery of who created the clone turtles going to lead in the future they might going to turn good and join their side
I usually loose all interest when TMNT stories include other mutant turtles to the group (looking at you jennika) but these guys look really cool. an evil version of the tmnt is a really cool concept if its done well

Because it remind me of the fox and the hound movie I remember as a kid but I realized in the book older dog is name copper and the puppie is chief so I prefer they have names and even in the tmnt comic but I must get this tmnt comic book.
