- Our dog, Waffles, is a three year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. A Blenheim with the very desired spot on her head! She truly is one of the best dogs we have ever had and is very special to us. She has the most loving and playful personality. Fetches, hops, licks, is sassy, and a true joy! She loves watching TV and responds to any animals on screen. She even has memorized commercials that have dogs, so that when the opening sounds play, she runs from another room to bark at the TV. I hope you enjoy a few video clips we have taken of her over the years.

My first was like the one in the video🥰 My King John Hudson (Sonny) was the love of my life and I still grieve for him. He lived 14 years and filled my life with love 🥰

The one you see in my photo was my last Cav King Charles...her name was Trina and truly was the love of my life! I lost her to Cancer...first time I have ever had a dog that got Cancer. It came fast...and she was gone quickly 👭😥💕 I miss her so much. Shevmissed her 14th Birthday just by a couple of months♡♡♡ I have a Blenheim puppy now...a little 'spitfire' So full of energy...so much like Waffles! She is now Six Months old...my heart truly belongs to her now♡♡♡ They bless us in so many ways...

My best friend ever passed away sunday oct.24 2021 two days ago i feel like i lost a part of my soul his name was charlie and i loved this dog more than anything i will forever miss him and never forget him he left a paw print on my heart the size a bus i will take a very long time to heal this broken heart
I am so sorry! We felt the same when we lost our furry friend before getting Waffles. I cried every time I came home and she didn't come running to greet me. I hope you find the comfort in your loss.

Waffles is a beautiful Blenheim. I love her queens kiss on the top of her head. My Henry is also a gorgeous Blenheim and he’s 11 months old. He’s my constant companion and the love of my life.

Right now because of the Pandemic....having friends that lost their beloved pets to COVID...Panda only gets human interaction. I have always had two together...but with the World as it is today...until it is safer...I don't dare bring another one home right now. So, in the meantime, your video is a tool for me and my puppy to bring real joy into our lives as I am sure it has done for many others. Cavs are the most loving, expressive dogs! After losing our tri-colour Josh in September 2020 (worst day of pandemic!) his successors came home with us at the end of March this year, 2 brothers, a Ruby called Toby and a black and tan called Dexter! Having had cavs before Toby and Dexter are much cheekier than before, and Dexter's favourite pastime is watching the leaves that have blown onto the patio out of the kitchen doors - even if they aren't moving! Not sure the back lawn will recover from the burrowing they both get up to given half a chance.
Yeah of course there are breed traits but I love the individual personality each dog has. Waffles is far different in many ways to our previous ones. She is awesome. I have never noticed digging behaviors though. But currently I don’t have a yard so who knows. Lol. I’m glad Toby and Dexter have joined your family!
@@LenBanks Yeah each of the cavs we've had have had their own unique charm. At the same time, perhaps it's just something we project onto our pets, but they also seem to have recognisable traits/behaviours from our previous cavs. Dexter is just like Josh, both have the same shape head and the little brown "eye brows" that neither Toby nor Josh's half brother Max had.
Sir i have been so broken hearted over my charlie boy i havent commented on waffles who is absolutely beautiful reminds me so much of my boy you are a very lucky to have her Someday when my heart isnt so broken i hope to get another cavalier they truly are the best dog ever i really miss my little man

@@LenBanks we have just rescued one a month ago. He is 9 years old and was neglected and unwanted. He has the Blenheim spot so we will take him to the castle. We might get free admission 😀 (We are in England).

My charlie has been gone for five weeks now my heart is still so broken my neighbor just got a female ruby named ginger she is so beautiful i was lucky enough that he let me pet her it felt so good i miss charlie boy

Hmm. I thought I shared that on one of the vids but now can’t remember. Lol. We were given a Mickey Mouse head waffle dog toy prior to searching for our new dog. It inspired us. :). Aren’t they the best breed?

I just read that you should never give your cavalier ice cubes. Apparently not good for their teeth. Their teeth are very small and breaks can occur.
Good to know. She plays with it long enough I think it softens up though.
