    Hi guys, I’ve just created a video reviewing the Sony ZV-1 after 6 weeks use and using the camera for multiple travel vlogs. I wanted to give my thoughts on if it lives up to the hype and who its for. I have included tons of video footage from the ZV-1. You cam also check out the best budget accessories for the Sony ZV-1 here th-cam.com/video/8nrtoUNSV54/w-d-xo.html

      You’ll love it. I use it on my channel for my travel blogs as well. I’ve also picked up the CRANE M2 and I’ve used it in a few of my videos. This is one of the videos I used the ZV-1 and Crane M2 in th-cam.com/video/ozfWJ42XUJU/w-d-xo.html

    I so love your indepth description and explanation of each aspect of the camera.
    The sounds was profound when you were by ocean. The mic tunned it in really good.
    I have to have a selfie stick otherwise my videos are so shakey. I have been looking for an expensive camera without much to learn. This sounds like a perfect device for me. You are a camera expert.

    How are you finding it? I notice you have similar results to me. The sky sometimes gets washed out when vlogging. Have you tried using the picture profiles yet? Let me know what settings you finally settle for. great video :)

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, I’m glad you like the video. Yes, I’ve noticed that too and I’ve order a variable ND filter to rectify this blowing out look when vlogging with the lens wide open. Currently I’m using the standard picture profile when filming as I like the look and it’s not too difficult to colour grade when editing. I hope this helps

      @@HuesofDelahaye, hmm might have to look into that variable ND filter thing. Great videos by the way :)

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad you are loving the camera. Yep, editing is the hard part for me as well. It takes me 3/5 days to easier one video. Is there any videos about the ZV-1, you’d like be to create?

    • @kaisofine
      @kaisofine 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HuesofDelahaye improving pics...I had to buy a flash for my camera. But it would be a good topic. People aren't talking zv-1's pictures.

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that is true most people use the ZV1 mainly for video, and not photos. Myself included, but I’ll use it and see what the best setting are for photos on the ZV1

    I absolutely love your camera reviews. I am ready to finally upgrade from using my phone to an actual camera but i am so afraid to make the wrong purchase. I do love how compact this camera is. Seriously considering getting this one. The wind muff worked wonders.Thank you so much for this review

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re welcome. I’m glad you liked the video. Yes, the compact size is great and I know how you feel buying a camera can be overwhelming. You can look at getting this one or the Sony a6400 which is slightly bigger and has interchange lens. I also owned that one and it’s a good vlogging camera, but I prefers this one over it as I can easy carry it around a get quick videos. Here is a vlog I did entirely on the ZV-1 and with just a £20 selfie stick. I was walking and talking to the camera and was next to the ocean so you can also see how goo the audio was. th-cam.com/video/XE0orEQQhmU/w-d-xo.html

    I love the size of this camera, I use the canon 750 which is kinda big and heavy for vlogs. This review makes all the difference. I like how you took your time to explain everything. I'm seriously considering getting this now.

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked the video. I find vlogging with a big camera makes me a bit self conscious but with a smaller camera people just think I’m taking a selfie 🤣🤣

  • @thedawlife2112
    @thedawlife2112 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi! Do you have your steady shot turned on active or standard? Is it shaky when you vlog while walking?

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I only use active as I still find standard a bit shaky. I found walking with active on the best. I shot this vlog only on active and I was walking and talking to the camera most of the time. So check it out th-cam.com/video/XE0orEQQhmU/w-d-xo.html

    I love how small and compact it is and that the lens “ folds” in! You could easily fit it in to your bag, I have the canon M100 one but the lens is just as big as the camera itself lol 😂

    • @HuesofDelahaye
      @HuesofDelahaye  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No worries, for 4K video you get just over 1 hour if battery life and for 1080p videos you get over 2 hours worth. Hope this helps
