That was a fantastic story. I was spellbound. You did a phenomenal narration. The fear was real. It seemed as though it was actually happening to you. Thank you for never failing to give an awesome reading. Well done, Stephen.
The black eyed man voice you created is amazingly terrifying. It’s only 8:30 pm here in NJ and after listening to your story telling, I’m fighting to keep my eyes open. I truly don’t understand, I don’t sleep well and my mind won’t shut up. I guess my mind makes your voice very calming. I appreciate it, goodnight
His voice has a soothing effect on me, too. When I'm recovering from a migraine, I'll put on LH and Stephen's voice helps calm me into a well needed rest.
Hi Stephen, I just want to say a thank you for all the stories you post here. All the work you do from narration to editing is top-notch quality! My whole family loves to listen to your channel, especially on long road trips. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world! ❤
I listened to this when it was first posted, but I was cooking and cleaning and didn’t get to pay attention fully, so I am relistening today and omg this one is good! It’s 11:45AM and I am still scared! So I’m glad I didn’t listen at bedtime! When the bell was ringing in the middle of the night! I could feel it! Waking up to silence, with just a bell that shouldn’t work violently tolling?! 😱Great work as always! The story, and narration are both 💯🖤
@lighthousehorror ive been listening to your stories for roughly 8 months now, ive bindged them every single day since then. They help me get through my day, my week. Well all of it. This year has been hell on earth for me. Broken my spirit little by little. But these stories have kept me going. So thank you. Dont know where ide be without this channel
Same! I found this channel a few years ago and have listened to his voice nearly every night since day one! I listen to the stories during the day to hear them and at night to soothe me to sleep. I have my favorites and can honestly say I have added hundreds of views to specific stories all on my own. I'm so predictable in my listening of his stories that even my phone knows which ones to suggest. My kids also love these stories.Thank you Steven for sharing your storytelling ability with the world.
Hey brother, I'm glad this channel helped you out. I definitely needed it during Covid years. I hope this video in particular will inspire you to seek truth and warmth from the world at large. Catholocism is largely misunderstood in the US and I grew up mocking it with my boomer dad and his Monty Python-esque agnosticism. God gives hope to all who follow him.
Stephen, this was the scariest damn story I've ever heard on LH. It may be the scariest I've heard on YT. Thank you for the fantastic narration, and thank the author for this masterful work.
@cidie1 It was for me. I almost always enjoy the story, but rarely do I feel an inkling of real fear. This one, I was riding in my car alone, and idk, it was just creepy af. What did you think of it?
@@sbsstorytelling It was very good but not too scary, I think it depends on what the mood you're in at the moment if you're getting affected by it or not.
This is my advice if you feel another entity in stay in your house. 1. Clean and make sure you house smell nice. The entity/Djinn/demon don't like house that clean and smell nice. They opposite what we human like. 2. Make sure all trash bin closed or all trash out of the house before dusk. That thing love trash bin. 3. Mixed vinegar+ salt in bowl/mug and place in the room that you don't use. That thing don't like vinegar & salt. 4. Make sure every windows, back door and fronts door close before dusk. This tips based on my experience 😅😅😅.

@LightHouseHorror Thank you Stephen! You absolutely ROCK, this will be my bedtime story this evening!!!!! Much love and an early Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!❤
So scary that this happened in a church, where most people would feel most at ease. After all, a church is a building and may be compromised as well as any other building could.
Absolutely, agreed. The Devil attacks the sacred with all his might. If the faithful aren't diligent and prepared, they can absolutely fail to resist or repulse him. I read another comment earlier about how the Door that was opened was the Priest's stagnant, weak faith due to the monotony of parish/clerical life. It wasn't until the Man in Black told him about the door that he realized the danger he was in and how only pure reliance on God aka faith could defeat that.
Amen! I saw a comment indicating the door that was opened was the Priest's faith weakening and he only overcame the demon by trusting in God. Did not expect this one to be as wholesome and based as it was but dang! LHH continuing to put out awesome videos- as usual.
Seriously Stephen, if you haven't considered voice acting, you should definitely start! Your impersonations just keep getting more and more convincing! Thank you so much for all that you do. ❤❤
Amazingly written story! One of my favorites is quite a while. Also, your narration is completely engrossing as always Stephen! Keep up the great work. :)

I really needed this. It's just a good, hopeful story. I'm glad that this was so well written-not another "Rules" video. It's complete with a decently fleshed-out (if somewhat simple) antagonist and protagonist worthy of being called heroic. Great writing and fantastic narration elevate the source material.
I love this story, the truths, and the narration. I also appreciate an exorcism story with a ‘happy’ ending. It’s rough out here being a non-practicing but believing Catholic, so thank you.
