@Alen Delon yeah I adored that opening scene, the camera work, the atmosphere and feel, it was also interesting to see hawkins and his side of the story, I think I related to hawkins since he actually acts like a real person and semed relatable, the whole flashback is very naturalistic, compare that with the second half which is contrived with overselling acting and over the top scenarios
I like how in Halloween Kills, they had that flashback scene with Dr. Sam Loomis. Just a great way of giving both the character and actor Donald Pleasence the hat tipping

Can I just say that the monologue Dr Loomis gave about Michael being pure evil in the first Halloween is just so iconic. It really makes me shiver and personally I think is the scariest scene of the franchise (excluding the rob zombie remakes - dude those are simply terrifying)
I'm really glad you gave us the hero that Dr. Loomis truly was. He gave and gave and gave and in the end it killed him. He fought for so long to eradicate the evil he had stumbled upon in 1978 and it's about time he got kudos for trying his best to save everyone from Michael.

I would argue he is more important and synonymous to the series/Michael than Laurie/Jamie Lee. And, yes, a better character than Laurie Strode. Of course, a great final girl is vital, but it doesn't need to be Laurie; Jamie and her step sister in 4 and 5 were good would-be victims, too. Loomis is more irreplacable, and a constant throughout.

I like to think after his death Haddenfield would put up either a statue or a memorial to him, but i'm doubtful, they'd probably have people desecrating his grave blaming him for Myers when he did everything he could to keep him locked up.
I miss Dr. Samuel Loomis and Donald Pleasance SO much! Really intrigued me as a teenager obsessed with the Halloween franchise. Def one of the most underrated characters and performances of all time! RIP to the 🐐 Dr. Loomis!
I’d like to see a prequel made about the life and career of Dr. Sam Loomis. His youth. His entry into the psychiatric field. The psychos he encounters along the way. And the movie can end in 1963 when he’s introduced to a six year old Michael Myers
That would be cool. Fun fact: According to John Carpenter, Dr. Loomis in Halloween is the same Dr. Loomis in Psycho. That would mean that in addition to stopping Michael Myers on multiple occasions, he also stopped Norman Bates at least once in 1960 -- just a few years before Michael was to also be committed. And according to Wes Craven, it is insinuated that Billy Loomis and his mother from the Scream series are also related to him -- meaning that Dr. Sam Loomis literally came from a family full of crazy people, and therefore knows how to handle people like Norman Bates and Michael Myers.

The legendary Donald Pleasance gave Michael Myers that aura and Mystique while playing Dr.Loomis so much so that I’d dare say without Loomis the franchise would not have reached such success. Some of the best dialogue I’ve ever seen in film build up a character so powerful.
Without Loomis all we have in Myers is a character design, people seriously underestimate how significant Loomis is to the series. There's a reason they've twice now tried to rewrite Laurie into a "new Loomis", why Kills has the whole town talking like Loomis despite it being totally illogical and coming off as pretty dumb. Problem is, without the specific relationship to Myers, the background/personality and the history that Loomis has, this role doesn't work. But without this role, Myers is literally just a character design walking through sets. The inherent forward momentum of the character also adds a hell of a lot to the sequels he's allowed to feature prominently in, whereas with say Laurie, they have to artificially inflate her role in order to retain her relevance to a plot (sister twist, Sartain in h18, etc.) I'm all for a full reboot of the series after Ends that excludes Laurie at least for a while, but whilst many fans say we should have all new characters, I really think that Loomis is a must to some capacity in each new iteration - without him the whole story and villain fall apart.

Different timelines. In the one this video talks abt she died in a car crash, in the h20 timeline she fakes her death and uses a fake name, in the Halloween 2018 timeline we pick up 40 years after Halloween 1978 and the movies between (Halloween 2-resurrection) have all been erased.
Loved the new movie! He was a fantastic Lumas! I also like how in the new one the officer looking out Michael's sister's room window comes to the conclusion that Michael wasn't always looking out of the window as a child but actually looking at or into himself.
FUN FACT: Christopher Lee was the first to be offered the role of Dr. Loomis but turned it down, and years later in an interview he would say that was the biggest mistake he ever made.
I'd love to see a comparison of all the Michaels and Lauries, and their different drives for survival. Personally i'm loving the newest ones, where there's no relation between Micheal and Laurie and he's just driven by some unknown need to murder. Makes him far more frightening than some posessed lad knocking off the relatives.

From a viewer perspective, as someone who enjoys the movies but hasn’t delved too far into lore, it’s because they have some kind of special bond. I mean, Loomis was the only one who truly tried to help him at all. And we know that he obviously gave up and started seeing Michael as an “it” and not a “him”, he did see potential in him for a couple years. He was the only one who showed any type care after Judiths death
Donald Pleasance was born in the house 4 doors down from me in 1919. (Gateford road Worksop). I did a facebook tribute to him on what would have been his 100th Birthday. He is the most famous person born in our very old town.
"He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal."-John 12:25 DRV. This verse now makes me think of Loomis. In a way, he cared less for his own life than he did for fighting evil. It kind of made it hard for Michael to kill him.

Donald Pleasance played Dr. Loomis so well and he is my favorite character in the Halloween franchise. It's unfortunate that there is no clear cut answer to his fate, but I would like to think the same thing that you pointed out here. That he died trying to protect the people of Haddonfield. I think that you need to do the history of Laurie Strode next.
I’d love to see a movie about Loomis. Like, maybe even a Godfather Part II style where we have two plots in a movie, one being modern day with Micheal on another killing spree, and the other story being Loomis between 1963 and 1978. Plus, I actually quite like the idea of Loomis being the same as the guy from Psycho.

I like to think there is a force that is taking over the shape. I mean we see it in the first movie when he goes to kill his sister the camera in michaels perspective looks up at his hand as he’s knifing his sister… almost as if he doesn’t know why he’s doing it or in surprise that he is doing it… it’s his first kill. I love the idea of not knowing and it’s up to the viewer. But I like to assume there’s a unknown unexplainable force of evil that has taken over such a pure soul. I like to think Michael was a pure soul at birth. When his parents take the mask off after he killed his sister he is a boy, his parents look to have had a good household. I would like a timeline where they show young Michael 3-5 before he turns 6 and the show ends with how Michael ended up on the other side of the street alone lurking at his own house. I have so many questions yet it’s probably best that we leave this up to the viewers. But maybe keep everything that has worked… they already have world building in Halloween kills the officer that *SPOILER ALERT YOU HAVE BEEB WARNED* died said in a line that he knew Michael and that he was a very quiet weird kid who always stared out the window… maybe when making this show they should just have parents concerned about their quiet kid who never spoke a word and acts weird and they bring him to see help… psychiatrist and all… idk it would be amazing.
I do like the theory that this Sam Loomis is the same one from Psycho. The actors even look alike; and I like how the comics expand on his history But even without those things being canon, Dr. Loomis is such a great character and I wish Pleasence didn't die when he did. 75 is too young
I have a theory that over time Loomis due to his close proximity and working with Michael over such a long period of time somehow allowed him to absorb some of the curse of thorns into himself. Would explain a lot of things like how he was able to survive the hospital explosion and stabbing along with the other times he takes a beating despite being so old and also why his mental state seemed to deteriorate and he became so obsessed with stopping and killing Michael, just as Michael was obsessed with killing his family members.
FUN FACT Another Psycho and Halloween reference: Janet Leigh, who played Marion Crane in Psycho and Jamie Lee Curtis, who played Laurie Strode in Halloween are real life Mother and Daughter. Janie Leigh appears in Halloween H20 too!
The comics and novelizations are cool but I feared the Shape. I'm just saying.. late 70's, loads of serial killers, fear of the possibility that we are not safe, even when you hide. He could be anyone. Nothing to bring attention to himself. That is what made me love the original Halloween 1978.

Actually Loomis' stroke happened when he collapsed after hitting Michael with the wooden plank in Halloween 5. Originally, he was supposed to die there. That's why he's not there at the end.

Literally found out about the characters and comics a few days ago so it was cool to see that brought up. Although they aren't really canon it is interesting to see them get brought up. Hope you bring up the tv versions of the few films that have one again as they are interesting too!!
H20 originally was supposed to mention the events of 4,5 and 6 and they left in (almost by accident) a pair of bloody scissors in the crime photos intro. Which were only used in part 4 and 5..I believe Laurie faked her death, gave Jamie Loyd up for adoption before leaving for California to start a new life, new name and son. Her being in California was also further explaining her absence in the other films when they could of just had her back in Haddonfield, which is also why it's the only one to not be in Haddonfield.
In the original ending of the original timeline, the "curse" of Michael Meyers gets transferred to Loomis. Implying that he'll become an immortal killing machine while Michael retires.
I enjoyed this video a lot. Dr. Samuel Loomis (the one played by Donald Pleasence) is my favorite character in the Halloween franchise. And in the entire horror universe. This franchise specifically is my favorite because it's mysterious and leaves the audience wondering until the very end of the original franchise. 1978- 1995. Micheal Myers is the most mysterious and interesting charterer in the entire horror universe in my opinion. On a side note, I get this very strong energy when it comes to the character Dr. Samuel Loomis (the one played by Donald Pleasence.) He's a character that I strongly, deeply admire, and love a lot.
I feel like loomis really truly did care about Micheal. Even though at the time he was evil and out of control, somewhere he still kinda knew that micheal was just a child
Right. Well Loomis understood better than anyone that there was an evil living inside Michael, probably also along side Michael. The actual Michael is in there, but I kinda look it at like possession. Except a very different view of it than what we normally get from movies. I think Loomis claimed he’s the embodiment of evil to detach himself from the boy that he knew. To make it seem like there is no Michael, that just happened to be what his parents named his flesh and everything inside is evil. Like there was never a human soul there, but then when he talks about Michael as a child he talks about him like a person kinda. We get a much bigger look into Loomis’s mental health than we ever will Michael’s. I think the more time Loomis spent with Michael and cleaning his messes the easier is was to justify his own insanity (his alleged beliefs ab Michael) and the harder it became to let go. He became more like Michael’s father than his doctor.
The "curse of Thorn" story arc made the most sense and tied everything together. Also, Halloween 3 was kinda good, but Tom Atkins was right that they should have just called it "Season of the Witch." Also, kudos for pronouncing "Samhain" in the original Old Celtic. 2:54 What's a "cran?" 18:58 Unfold that stock, greenhorn! 23:39 Michael isn't driven by rage. He's like a machine. Like a Terminator.
I liked the Thorn thing because it left some room to expect him to violently infect another with the curse once he's ultimately completed his original task.
Moral of the story. Don't eat Myers' birthday cake. It's pretty straightforward. And Loomis' request for him to be moved is how he got loose isn't it? 🤣
Just a note, I'm pretty sure that the stroke that Loomis refers to in the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 is what happens after he collapses onto Michael after the beating with the board in part 5.
I never understood why the Hospital was so suspicious of Tommy with the baby, he was acting a bit crazy sure, but hospitals have experience with hysterical parents wouldnt they take extra precautions to ensure the baby was okay? I doubt someone coming into a hospital, bloody is a strange thing for them.
I love the choose your own adventure of the series. Love Doctor Loomis? Watch the thorn trilogy. Love Laurie and the sister twist? Watch H20. Just a fan of the first movie? Watch the Danny McBride trilogy. Love Rob Zombie movies? Put on the remake. Love the multiverse? Watch all of the Michael Myers led Halloween movies except for Resurrection.
I first watched this movie when I was a merely young 9 years old. My mother thought it would cause me nightmares when I saw "The Shining" two years prior. Not. When Halloween came out it didn't even phase me as I knew it was just a movie and although there may be crazy people similiar to Michael Meyers out there somewhere running a muck on towns like Haddonfield,. Its still, just a movie. As I got older this movie, the original, became one of the funniest movies for Halloween horror. I never laughed so hard in my life at some of the particular scenes in it and those awesome one-liners from Donald Pleasants. Gave him driving lessons....awesome , or at the end of original when Laurie says whats the boogeyman, Donald replies As a matter of fact , that was the boogeyman as he glances down to see Michael , the evil has gone. Its so classic. Im still laughing. Love the theme song to the edge of the Earth, John Carpenter is brilliant. The Halloween theme is etched in my brain forever and is the only music I can play on the piano, and the only music I will probably ever play on the piano. Halloween has been a staple diet of antics and freaking out my friends oldest brother so many years but now my friend has passed away , the friend I used to watch the movie with only if I promissed to behave otherwise his older brother would say get him outta here!!! some of those times I wonder if he really meant it everytime as he only kicked me out once for mimicing some Michael Meyers get back on two feet moves, and laughing my a$$ off thru the whole picture.But I certainly had fun taunting his brother as well as he did think I was almost as crazy as Meyers himself, but certainly never resorted to killing people. That was some pretty hilarious times and miss my friend(s) alot. Many whom have passed away and the rest with I havent spoken to or have no contact with for well over 25 years ,some of those I dont know if are still alive or not. But my memories of those days are as vivid as yesterday. Long live the Movie , the original movie ....HALLOWEEN !
I grew up with the "Thorn" series and always thought it was cheesy. When H20 came out I loved it, only to be let down by Resurrection. Fast forward to H'18 and Kills, I'm back as a fan. You did a great job on this vid. And let's all be thankful we got to see Dr Loomis again. RIP Donald Pleasance, he would approve.
You know one of the things I've noticed about the relationship between Dr Loomis and Michael Myers is that he is married their relationship parallels that of Harry Potter characters Albus Dumbledore and Tom Riddle AKA Voldemort, Dumbledore New Baltimore is a child just like on Loomis know Michael, they both kept the watch on him, knows what they're capable of, proceed them as people who can express the worst kind of evil and both characters is die trying to stop that evil in one form or another, if there was anything I didn't like about the character about the Sam Loomis it's always portrayed in the Rob zombie reboot yes I know he was giving the go ahead to do whatever he like with the characters and put his own spin on things but making him into an uncaring, egotistical, selfish, arrogant jerk that made money off a book about Michael and the the people in this life is putting his victims and family didn't seem right to me yeah I know he tried to fix it by trying to save LaurIe from Michael and ended up dying but I felt that they spent on his character and since he was around since the beginning that's something they shouldn't have done.
I agree. That is the only issue I have with the Sam Loomis character too. The original Dr. Loomis is my favorite character of all the time, like ever. Idk why, but Donald Pleasance gave everything to that role and made Halloween what it is today imho. Him being kinda like a fatherly caretaker of Michael was what gave his character depth. He spent years with Michael, his life became all about Michael. In a way, he raised him so he had to love him some. Rob’s Loomis didn’t really seem to care or not when it mattered. He was willing to sell out and the og Loomis wouldn’t be wasting time on something like that if he thought Michael was putting anyone in danger. Like protecting Michael’s potential victims and Michael himself were Loomis’s concerns, not signing autographs. If Linda’s dad came up to og Loomis and spoke to him that way, the deep regret and guilt would be so evident. Rob’s Loomis just seemed so entitled, not caring Laurie was a wreck and that he was about to wreck her more or that there were multiple families who’s trauma was being rehashed for the public. Not only that but that he was making money and they didn’t see a dime of it. I don’t think og Loomis would’ve just let Laurie go crazy and not help her knowing he’s the only one who could. He would’ve turned focus some to helping her (distracting him from Michael and making Michael jealous possibly) and that could’ve made for a good Halloween 2. I just don’t believe og Loomis would’ve handled things the way that Loomis did, like not even remotely the same character besides both are Michael’s doctor. I understand this was Zombie’s Loomis but the character himself is too special to me to be fucked with lol. I could go on and on about this lmao

Donald Pleasance really was brilliant, even when the script wasn’t there his gravitas really sells the movie.

I like to think after his death Haddenfield would put up either a statue or a memorial to him, but i'm doubtful, they'd probably have people desecrating his grave blaming him for Myers when he did everything he could to keep him locked up.
I miss Dr. Samuel Loomis and Donald Pleasance SO much! Really intrigued me as a teenager obsessed with the Halloween franchise. Def one of the most underrated characters and performances of all time! RIP to the 🐐 Dr. Loomis!

And according to Wes Craven, it is insinuated that Billy Loomis and his mother from the Scream series are also related to him -- meaning that Dr. Sam Loomis literally came from a family full of crazy people, and therefore knows how to handle people like Norman Bates and Michael Myers.

The legendary Donald Pleasance gave Michael Myers that aura and Mystique while playing Dr.Loomis so much so that I’d dare say without Loomis the franchise would not have reached such success. Some of the best dialogue I’ve ever seen in film build up a character so powerful.
Without Loomis all we have in Myers is a character design, people seriously underestimate how significant Loomis is to the series. There's a reason they've twice now tried to rewrite Laurie into a "new Loomis", why Kills has the whole town talking like Loomis despite it being totally illogical and coming off as pretty dumb. Problem is, without the specific relationship to Myers, the background/personality and the history that Loomis has, this role doesn't work. But without this role, Myers is literally just a character design walking through sets. The inherent forward momentum of the character also adds a hell of a lot to the sequels he's allowed to feature prominently in, whereas with say Laurie, they have to artificially inflate her role in order to retain her relevance to a plot (sister twist, Sartain in h18, etc.)
I'm all for a full reboot of the series after Ends that excludes Laurie at least for a while, but whilst many fans say we should have all new characters, I really think that Loomis is a must to some capacity in each new iteration - without him the whole story and villain fall apart.
Donald pleasence was my favorite character in the series. His acting was fantastic. He could sell you air. It's a real shame he passed away.

Different timelines. In the one this video talks abt she died in a car crash, in the h20 timeline she fakes her death and uses a fake name, in the Halloween 2018 timeline we pick up 40 years after Halloween 1978 and the movies between (Halloween 2-resurrection) have all been erased.

I'd love to see a comparison of all the Michaels and Lauries, and their different drives for survival. From a viewer perspective, as someone who enjoys the movies but hasn’t delved too far into lore, it’s because they have some kind of special bond. I mean, Loomis was the only one who truly tried to help him at all. And we know that he obviously gave up and started seeing Michael as an “it” and not a “him”, he did see potential in him for a couple years. He was the only one who showed any type care after Judiths death
Donald Pleasance was born in the house 4 doors down from me in 1919. (Gateford road Worksop). I did a facebook tribute to him on what would have been his 100th Birthday. He is the most famous person born in our very old town.

I enjoy the Psycho theory. With my head canon of Loomis being Michaels and I guess Lories dad it fits that he was a young hunk hanging around the mother of Jamie Lee Curtis.

I like to think there is a force that is taking over the shape. I mean we see it in the first movie when he goes to kill his sister the camera in michaels perspective looks up at his hand as he’s knifing his sister… almost as if he doesn’t know why he’s doing it or in surprise that he is doing it… it’s his first kill. I love the idea of not knowing and it’s up to the viewer. But I like to assume there’s a unknown unexplainable force of evil that has taken over such a pure soul. I like to think Michael was a pure soul at birth. When his parents take the mask off after he killed his sister he is a boy, his parents look to have had a good household. I would like a timeline where they show young Michael 3-5 before he turns 6 and the show ends with how Michael ended up on the other side of the street alone lurking at his own house. I have so many questions yet it’s probably best that we leave this up to the viewers. But maybe keep everything that has worked… they already have world building in Halloween kills the officer that *SPOILER ALERT YOU HAVE BEEB WARNED*

I have a theory that over time Loomis due to his close proximity and working with Michael over such a long period of time somehow allowed him to absorb some of the curse of thorns into himself. Would explain a lot of things like how he was able to survive the hospital explosion and stabbing along with the other times he takes a beating despite being so old and also why his mental state seemed to deteriorate and he became so obsessed with stopping and killing Michael, just as Michael was obsessed with killing his family members.

The comics and novelizations are cool but I feared the Shape. I'm just saying.. late 70's, loads of serial killers, fear of the possibility that we are not safe, even when you hide. He could be anyone. Nothing to bring attention to himself. That is what made me love the original Halloween 1978.

Literally found out about the characters and comics a few days ago so it was cool to see that brought up. Although they aren't really canon it is interesting to see them get brought up. Hope you bring up the tv versions of the few films that have one again as they are interesting too!!
H20 originally was supposed to mention the events of 4,5 and 6 and they left in (almost by accident) a pair of bloody scissors in the crime photos intro. Which were only used in part 4 and 5..I believe Laurie faked her death, gave Jamie Loyd up for adoption before leaving for California to start a new life, new name and son. Her being in California was also further explaining her absence in the other films when they could of just had her back in Haddonfield, which is also why it's the only one to not be in Haddonfield.

I enjoyed this video a lot. Dr. Samuel Loomis (the one played by Donald Pleasence) is my favorite character in the Halloween franchise. And in the entire horror universe. This franchise specifically is my favorite because it's mysterious and leaves the audience wondering until the very end of the original franchise. 1978- 1995. Micheal Myers is the most mysterious and interesting charterer in the entire horror universe in my opinion. On a side note, I get this very strong energy when it comes to the character Dr. Samuel Loomis (the one played by Donald Pleasence.) He's a character that I strongly, deeply admire, and love a lot.
I like to think that Loomis never dies because just like evil, good never dies (even if he does get pretty crazy in Halloween 5 and 6)

Right. Well Loomis understood better than anyone that there was an evil living inside Michael, probably also along side Michael. The actual Michael is in there, but I kinda look it at like possession. Except a very different view of it than what we normally get from movies. I think Loomis claimed he’s the embodiment of evil to detach himself from the boy that he knew. To make it seem like there is no Michael, that just happened to be what his parents named his flesh and everything inside is evil. Like there was never a human soul there, but then when he talks about Michael as a child he talks about him like a person kinda. We get a much bigger look into Loomis’s mental health than we ever will Michael’s. I think the more time Loomis spent with Michael and cleaning his messes the easier is was to justify his own insanity (his alleged beliefs ab Michael) and the harder it became to let go. He became more like Michael’s father than his doctor.

I never understood why the Hospital was so suspicious of Tommy with the baby, he was acting a bit crazy sure, but hospitals have experience with hysterical parents wouldnt they take extra precautions to ensure the baby was okay? I doubt someone coming into a hospital, bloody is a strange thing for them.

I first watched this movie when I was a merely young 9 years old. My mother thought it would cause me nightmares when I saw "The Shining" two years prior. Not. When Halloween came out it didn't even phase me as I knew it was just a movie and although there may be crazy people similiar to Michael Meyers out there somewhere running a muck on towns like Haddonfield,. Its still, just a movie. As I got older this movie, the original, became one of the funniest movies for Halloween horror. I never laughed so hard in my life at some of the particular scenes in it and those awesome one-liners from Donald Pleasants. Gave him driving lessons....awesome , or at the end of original when Laurie says whats the boogeyman, Donald replies As a matter of fact , that was the boogeyman as he glances down to see Michael , the evil has gone. Its so classic. Im still laughing. Love the theme song to the edge of the Earth, John Carpenter is brilliant. The Halloween theme is etched in my brain forever and is the only music I can play on the piano, and the only music I will probably ever play on the piano. Halloween has been a staple diet of antics and freaking out my friends oldest brother so many years but now my friend has passed away , the friend I used to watch the movie with only if I promissed to behave otherwise his older brother would say get him outta here!!! some of those times I wonder if he really meant it everytime as he only kicked me out once for mimicing some Michael Meyers get back on two feet moves, and laughing my a$$ off thru the whole picture.But I certainly had fun taunting his brother as well as he did think I was almost as crazy as Meyers himself, but certainly never resorted to killing people. That was some pretty hilarious times and miss my friend(s) alot. Many whom have passed away and the rest with I havent spoken to or have no contact with for well over 25 years ,some of those I dont know if are still alive or not. I grew up with the "Thorn" series and always thought it was cheesy. When H20 came out I loved it, only to be let down by Resurrection. Fast forward to H'18 and Kills, I'm back as a fan. You know one of the things I've noticed about the relationship between Dr Loomis and Michael Myers is that he is married their relationship parallels that of Harry Potter characters Albus Dumbledore and Tom Riddle AKA Voldemort, Dumbledore New Baltimore is a child just like on Loomis know Michael, they both kept the watch on him, knows what they're capable of, proceed them as people who can express the worst kind of evil and both characters is die trying to stop that evil in one form or another, if there was anything I didn't like about the character about the Sam Loomis it's always portrayed in the Rob zombie reboot yes I know he was giving the go ahead to do whatever he like with the characters and put his own spin on things but making him into an uncaring, egotistical, selfish, arrogant jerk that made money off a book about Michael and the the people in this life is putting his victims and family didn't seem right to me yeah I know he tried to fix it by trying to save LaurIe from Michael and ended up dying but I felt that they spent on his character and since he was around since the beginning that's something they shouldn't have done.

He was willing to sell out and the og Loomis wouldn’t be wasting time on something like that if he thought Michael was putting anyone in danger. Like protecting Michael’s potential victims and Michael himself were Loomis’s concerns, not signing autographs. If Linda’s dad came up to og Loomis and spoke to him that way, the deep regret and guilt would be so evident. Rob’s Loomis just seemed so entitled, not caring Laurie was a wreck and that he was about to wreck her more or that there were multiple families who’s trauma was being rehashed for the public. Not only that but that he was making money and they didn’t see a dime of it. I don’t think og Loomis would’ve just let Laurie go crazy and not help her knowing he’s the only one who could. He would’ve turned focus some to helping her (distracting him from Michael and making Michael jealous possibly) and that could’ve made for a good Halloween 2. I just don’t believe og Loomis would’ve handled things the way that Loomis did, like not even remotely the same character besides both are Michael’s doctor. I understand this was Zombie’s Loomis but the character himself is too special to me to be fucked with lol. I could go on and on about this lmao
