This is my favorite FAVORITE plant right now and I love mine it’s still small but I put her in pon a few days ago so I’m praying she does well …I’m also trying to build my Aglaonema collection so if you have any in Pon please makes video on how they’re doing thank you
Mine is currently recovering from thrip unfortunately, but it just started growing back! I’ll probably get an aglaonema in the future 🌱 I’ve had one in my cart for a while lol 👀
How did it do in the long run? Im going to transfer mine and was hoping to find out if i should or not. I have had mine for about two years now and i can never remember to water on time.
I find that most Calatheas are severely over potted and I think that contributes to the death of them for most people. I’ve had great success with keeping mine in chunky soil, but considering moving a couple to pon. Thanks for the video!
Well done 👍🏾 I have the same plant that I bought for my bday but I had to cut all the leaves off because I used tap water to water it and it was really unhappy. I’m hopeful that the leaves will grow back eventually but I’m gonna transfer her to pons now. Thanks April 💚
Thank you 🤍 Cutting back your calathea was probably what was best for it, I’m sure it’s gonna grow back beautifully. Let me know how it does in PON 😉🌿✨
I thought i liked the look if leca, but i love that look of PON! I gotta get on that. I have a lot of plants in soil still. Blech hahaha. I am gnat free thank God but i still hate dirt. Have u had any plants not survive the transfer out of soil?
I admire people who use soil and are gnat free. I couldn’t get rid of them :( lol but I’ve lost more plants to LECA than pon. Mostly due to lack of experience though lol now if they don’t work in Leca they go to pon 🤗
so I've just removed my calathea from its soil and put it into just water will this kill it. its been in there for a few days and nothing negative has happened yet, should i worry?
I tried putting my orbifolia in leca and it didn’t make it. I want to try again with pon. It had root rot beforehand and had just come from the nursery, so that might have been why.
Hi! I just transferred mine to pin today and I’m super worried bc it’s in this growth phase and I’m scared I interrupted it. How is yours looking like one year on?
Posting a video on it this week but it caught thrip and lost a bunch of leaves lol it’s still doing good ROOT-WISE, just don’t let it dry out too much 🫶🏽🌱
Hello dear I've been looking for you and I said let me go to her TH-cam channel I'm behind on three of them and it didn't pop up on my phone. But you just going to make me get some Pon. Last month it was so expensive I couldn't afford that but this month on Amazon is getting a little cheaper already so yeah I'll get some but it takes like 3 weeks worth to get here anyway love you work your eyebrows girl.Mama Long 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I hate that netting shit…is that what was wrapped around the roots? It makes me think they cheated at the grow house, just tying a bunch of stalks or cuttings together, maybe they end up dying bc of that! They all wanna grow into a colony and crowd each other out. I’ve noticed on peperomias, they almost all are brown that way with netting. Peps are different tho, they have tiny root systems and usually don’t enjoy being repotted… but I hate that shit. Lo,
@@aprilbrooks thank you I'm waiting for my pon to come in the mail, I think I might start slow before I convert my whole collection I have too many plants lol.

Don’t worry unless you see it declining 🫶🏽
How did it go?
В России больше практикуется фитильный полив
How is this plant doing now since converting to pon?
It’s doing pretty good, although I recently found spider mites on it 🥲
@@aprilbrooks oh no! I use peppermint oil on cotton balls near my plants. I haven't had an issue yet.

Questions for you, not sure if you know or have ever heard- Is Pon substrate comparable to Aquarium Substrate?
I’m not totally sure of that, but it all looks the same to me honestly 😂

So pretty 😍, so far have you had any issues with any of your plants that you have in pon?
So far only my Hoya Serpens cutting. I just transferred to PON yesterday. Keeping a close eye on them to see what might have went wrong lol
