Tell them not to sell out no matter what kind of money they offer. Big company would shelf the project or put firmware on it that they maintain control over even after you own the product!
Great OS project. I'm very excited to see this supported by manufacturers. ELRS has been an amazing example of the genius of open source and it's contributors.
Just a note: Albert Kim has discovered that it does NOT work on low end Phones, and not on some tablets. The receiving side definitely needs to have some "power". Curious: What country or countries are the primary developers located in? Is MarioFPV the main person for this project?
Do you think a locked latency similar to analog or HDzero would be possible? I think that would be one of the most alluring things about this system if that’s possible. Being able to set the parameters of where the latency was allowed to fluctuate at the cost of breakup and lost packets. The project looks really interesting. Thanks for sharing all the information about it.
Nice development update video! But it is kind of hard to focus on the video when there are two voices playing at the same time, prehaps just keep the English dub in the video, thank you!
Pretty exciting stuff. I'm expecting a custom receiver small enough to use with regular FPV googles. Maybe a hacked Avatar Googles L accepting a external signal? One can dream...
is there a donation option by which I can also receive/reserve retail product? Something like charging 2x the retail price for retail gear. Half the $$ is a donation, the other half pays for the product you order. I am very new to the hobby and in the process of building my first quad for long range and high end video capture. I would really like to make this new hardware you featured as my camera/fpv kit.
Worst part is, someio fpv promised it as open-source, still the hardware isn't 😂😂, no where close to off the self system, it's better than relying on some dude.
You can design your own hardware if you know how. For that you will need to study really hard and graduate from a university as engineer. So please don’t blame our project because you don’t have an engineering degree. Our software is completely open source and we have already seen 3rd parties creating our own hardware and it’s working fine with our open software.
That sample fpv video is pretty impressive. The other things which are currently missing as I understand it are adaptive bitrate video (to handle changes in link quality) and error recovery (retransmission) for corrupted video data.
My friend please next time mute your actual voice because no one needs to hear that. I would have enjoyed this video so much more if you did mute your own voice.

It's open source, so can be forked and continued if needed
Fantastic!!
Runcam just released an openipc airunit , well done to everyone on the dev team .
Bro yes to the free world omg!!! They're going to bag all thee guys cause this technology is too good!!!
This is really good progress. Keep going guys ❤

This is an amazing project. Incredible what was achieved so far. I will try this for a future UAV build.
Finally, a FPV system that uses regular VR headsets ! Also, can't they use the builtin wifi chip ?
Только определенные чипы. Realtek
open HW ftw! well done, very interesting project!
Awesome Video! Can you provide some info or source about the project with the 240x zoom Camera?

Make more videos showing your drone. Remember to add a referral link to the online store to purchase the items.
Only 1 comment as of 08/03/24 @ 3:49 EST till I commented and that was the video maker!

We are developing our own OpenIPC goggles. Stay tuned.

Could make your own hardware to run the open source software. I believe it's not open source because of NDAs for the ISP used.

RubyFPV can do this, except for resending lost packets.
@@EgorNiKO_ENG Ruby does retransmissions too.
What are the questions about the video?
Please share the video link of Android ground station
Obvously a Long shot but digital HD 5in1 whoop boards with little weight penalty would be rad. Hope those will come
Amazing. Maladetes.
is this new ANALOG OR A NEW HD SYSTEM
SORRY LOOK BETTER THEN HDZERO
My goodness, you loud shouty monster
Hd
HD digital
@@Krash_fpv I’m sold where can I buy
So much better quality wise than HD Zero, i doubt it would equal the latency though.

My guy hes translating it to english
this is standard practice for translation.
