Coincidence! I bought cheap the 3 blade 4 wheel version. Not used much and engine totally trashed. Was towed behind a mower and sucked in all the dirt and grass clippings. Engine is really undersized and works way to hard. I keep the blades super sharp. Good luck!
@@generalprinciple5921 Don't want to turn this into a soap opera. For turf mowing set as hi as possible and sharpen blades after every use. Grass stays much healthier if a little taller and weeds still perish. For trail clearing (hunting) the machine going to get trashed. I lucked out after purchase of my 3-blader and found a 17hp single cylinder Briggs on worn out CVT lawn tractor w rusted out deck. $75. Valve adjust, filters, and Rotella T6. Turns out that it is so cumbersome to use it rarely gets started. Good luck.
@@generalprinciple5921 Last note, I promise! I DONT use it w my hydrostatic lawn tractors. To much load on transmission. I have an older manual transmission tractor. If your turf is flat u might luck out. Also have a smaller hydrostatic that was slipping after 20 min use on a warm day. Bit the bullet and bought 2qurts $$$ Amsoil 20w-50 Hydrostatic oil. Works like magic.
