- I built this lawnmower to go fast I lowered it upgraded the steering built a wheel bar and used a 650cc triple 2 stroke snowmobile engine that makes good power well over 100hp I have hade it up to 110mph with out trying getting it ready for winter lake ice drags stay tuned and keep seeing the updates and progress better yet you should subscribe like and comment and you will know when new videos are coming out lol thanks!!!

@@ethancampbell7326I’ve got two LT1000’s one is a 20 OHV and the other is a 17 OHV, the dual’s are way easier to make faster, but the singles are great to learn with, they are pretty squirrelly little motors

I believe it, my brother got clocked by police doing 61 on a ride on lawnmower. Obviously it had work done, upgraded engine & pulley swaps, etc. Did a few things to lighten it. He had a few of these, but the old Roper was absolutely the sickest. Bananas! Front wheels easily came off ground! Mind you we were kids, he no older than 14.

A few friends of mine and I built a few of these. They aren't the regular tires that come on the tractor.
I stumbled out of a bar at 2:30 a.m. in WI. One night and about 5 machines like this ripped past me at about 60 in a 15mph. I couldnt believe what I had witnessed. The noise was unbelievable.

LoL yeah my son didn't even get to get that out when he said son what's under the hood cuz that ain't stock lol no not with a 550 Yamaha motorcycle engine.. thought it was a 450 cc I told him to put a wheelie bar on it with two gears left to go doing 60 ugh gets me nervous but if it what he wants I'm not stopping him either unfortunately cuz I'm the same way!@@Dumfancy

How the heck do you get a lawn mower to go that fast? I assume you put a beefier engine in it, correct? But everything still fits under the front cover?!? I hear the mower switching through gears so is it considered an automatic transmission?
@@coreyputzier there was some extensive modifications done to make it appear stock and that it fits under the hood really unless you were to put the same model right next to it you would think it’s built like that. It’s not my best work, but it’s pretty clean it sounds like I’m shifting gears, but I was feathering the throttle because it wasn’t running correctly that day but if you catch any of the new content, it’s now an absolute ripper thanks for the comment

My son bought a Husqvarna lawn mower that didn't run.. it has a four wheeler or partial four wheeler frame for the base, no deck of course, with a 550 cc I think motorcycle engine.. after getting it running, tinkering with it changing a few things.. he took it out for a test run and someone called the police on him for driving it on the main highway going 60 mph.. lol the officer couldn't believe the call I guess that a lawn mower was going down the road at 60 mph.. thank goodness he wears his helmet and has his slow moving vehicle sign in plain view 😂 I can't wait to see him race it on the track!

Yeah, that one wrong move happened one afternoon and I lost a tire if you go to the channel and look through the shorts in the videos I have a video of when it got crashed. I broke my collarbone and my pelvis, but I survived and I have rebuilt it since then it is now got a roll cage with a five point harness And pretty much just dirt drag racing it from now on!

You're correct pretty sure they're out of business. Obviously theres othe companies that make 60mph functional cutting mowers. Mostly its all about pulley sizes. Or hydrostat transmission. These days its best just to get a implement for your mower/tractor or a bigger deck. I have seen a bush hog my buds step dad pulled behind his mower after he sold the ford diesel tractor. Money was tight at that time he made the bushog run off a pulley and sprocket and you just hand started the engine that spun the bushog then pulled it with a mower or ATV.

mowers are cool and a lot of fun but from the top some of my most favorite sled engine swaps are golf carts are a lot of fun iv owned and built 2 of them one was lower and other lifted go karts are sweet i had a honda odyssey with a rotax 583 that was pretty fast i want to do a shifter cart style and or a mini bike with one of my other triples but let me know what project you end up starting with it?

We had two matching racing toilets go karts with 41 McCulloch chainsaw engines.. some of the fun things that we did with those. How many spins can you do before you flip it. Tie them together and see who's bumper rips off. Mudslinging just because. We have pictures we call the Wall of shame.
