Got my haircuts at Razor Rebel until a couple days ago and the guy, who was my favorite barber, went and moved over to Parkersburg. I’m really lucky to live within 15 minutes of the town
I was class of 87, my junior year was the last class before they consolidated. The town has changed a lot since I was there last. Is the artesian well still out 74?
@@ralphdavis6052 I am not sure on the artesian well. Pennsboro has changed quite a bit over the years. I’m sure it had to be strange to change schools your senior year. I graduated from Tyler County High School in 1987.
As you go out of town on 74, towards Tyler county, the road breaks hard left but a street goes straight, at the little bridge on edge of town. The well is a short ways up hill and to the right. We used to stop and drink from it while our on our bikes. Water gushed like mad from the well head
Cool! I still have yet to go into that town.
It has many memories for me. I spent many days there over the years.
From wheeling. I plan on making the trip when they open. My family normally goes to Pittsburgh so it’s nice for a change
I’m looking forward to the opening. I’m hopeful to get out there soon to see in person what all they have done. Thanks for watching.

I have always loved visiting Pennsboro. I hate the fact that your barber moved.
1986 my senior class started Ritchie County high school
Thank you for sharing that. I graduated from Tyler in 1987. It must have been difficult to change schools like that.
@@thetravelingunderwood very difficult at the time
Pennsboro officially coming back in 2024, going to have 5 events including a 100 lap super late model race like the good ole days.
I’m looking forward to it. I have probably been to around 50 races there. It will be nice to make the trek once again.
1986 was last year of the highschool
Thank you. I could not remember when it closed.

@@ralphdavis6052 I did not know that. Next time I am in Pennsboro I will take a look.

I use to live about 12 miles from Pennsboro. I spent quite a bit of time there growing up. Always enjoyed my time there. Thanks for watching.
