I was amazed the year I went how huge the crowds were. An amazing event.

@ I was there in 2014. I actually met a couple who had been going every year since the early 1970s. They had some great stories.

The year I went the celebration was amazing. It was definitely fun and I look forward to going back for the festivities in the future. I did not know about the trail until this last visit. It was also amazing.

A great place. It is even better during the festival.

@thetravelingunderwood if you ever go back make sure to stop by gigis for breakfast and the yri for dinner they are really good

@@thetravelingunderwood Gigi's is a diner it servers breakfast lunch and dinner and they have really good pie and the yri is like a normal restraunt with a bar and inn connected to it

I loved visiting there though a warmer day would have been nice. I'm wanting to visit again and spend more time there. I'll let you know when I get back to that area.

I love this waterfall. It was flowing almost perfectly. Definitely a cool place to visit.

I agree. We have been fortunate the last few years so I have been expecting what use to be the normal type winter here. It is still much better than some of the places we have talked about.

@ Yeppers. The cold sucks but the farmer side of me knows we need more of it. Yeah we could use some more snow cause that drought drastically dropped that water table but we desperately need that ground to freeze up for a bit.

Your welcome. I've lived in Tyler County almost my whole life and in Middlebourne since 2006.

They do a great job. We are truly blessed to have this road crew. It is treacherous out there. Glad you made it to work. After I filmed the video we probably received another 2 to 3 inches of snow.

Since I got home the roads have gotten much worse here. I'm definitely not going back out again. We have probably picked up 2 to 3 inches since I made the video. Hopefully it stops soon and they can get the roads back open for you.

@thetravelingunderwood The very famous opera mezzo soprano Marilyn Horne was from Bradford. She sang in the biggest opera houses in the world. Often with Pavarotti and Joan Sutherland.

I went for the lights but could not resist walking around. The Veterans Memorial was incredible. I was very impressed and honored to see it. I have to go back to get into some of these buildings, especially the opera house. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the architecture and scenery of this town. I'm was happy that I took the time to walk around. Definitely worth visiting.

These signs always crack me up.

I'm just having some fun with one of my all time favorite signs. I do know how it works but it is a very unique sign in my travels.

@thetravelingunderwood no worries, I expected as much. I remember the first time I saw a similar sign on I-20 decades ago, and I wondered for years what that actually meant and what it looked like. These days, they could probably use loitering drones for a similar purpose, but they likely would send tickets in the mail instead of dispatching a patrol car.
