Hard to run a weekly program at this track or West Virginia Motor Speedway. Big long tracks really hurt the pockets, hard on equipment. They just need to run 3 or 4 big races a year.
Bringing back memories. Accessing the pits under the bridge on each side of that creek. Dew in the morning and very cold. Shitters with seat heaters 😉. Old Bloomer with his long wavy hair, a nice looking chick, and the Action Collectibles I think it was leather jacket. I’m worried they won’t have enough seating. It doesn’t look the front stretch, or what used to be the front stretch, is cleared off enough seating wise. And the new bleachers aren’t big enough. I’m hope it’s successful, a few races a year. Definitely wanna return.
Great memories. I've started going there in the 70s. Always enjoyed it. They have added more seats since I did this video. It is amazing how much work they have done in a short time. Hopefully they are successful.
Originally they were going to have VIP parking at the track but the website says no on that now. I am guessing there is none available but I am not completely sure.
@@thetravelingunderwood off site parking about 2 miles free shuttle tonthe track their are places around close save a lot doing limited parking for 20 dollars first come first serve basis. Some surrounding roads like bunnels rd and water plant rd beside the track
Hope it does well, huge track !!!
I hope does well also. It will be interesting to see the modern late models on the track.
The place looks great. Always wanted to race there.
They did a good job getting it ready.
It’s been a long time coming for that track I hope they can make it successful again
It has been a long time. I'm hopeful it will be a success. I'm going to try to get there Thursday to see.

That place will be packed wish I could be there
It should be one heck of a crowd. I am hoping to be there Thursday night. I'm not sure about the rest of the races yet.
I bet they get an insane amount of people there this weekend. Looks like it’s gonna be gorgeous weather too.
I am expecting huge crowds. I am going to try and go Thursday and the rest of the weekend I'll play by ear.
Yea this is so awesome
I never thought I would see the track running again. It is definitely awesome.
Take a look now its almost donw looks fantastic
I've been seeing the pictures. Amazing what they have done since Saturday.

@@ChristopherWest-hc3nr I knew about some of the offsite parking. The shuttle is only running Friday and Saturday unless they have changed it.
@@thetravelingunderwood not sure on that
