Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’[a] 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Complete Jewish Bible 24 Don’t you know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one wins the prize? So then, run to win! 25 Now every athlete in training submits himself to strict discipline, and he does it just to win a laurel wreath that will soon wither away. But we do it to win a crown that will last forever. 26 Accordingly, I don’t run aimlessly but straight for the finish line; I don’t shadow-box but try to make every punch count. 27 I treat my body hard and make it my slave so that, after proclaiming the Good News to others, I myself will not be disqualified. Men and women, read these scriptures... 1 John 2:22-25 Complete Jewish Bible 22 Who is a liar at all, if not the person who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? Such a person is an anti-Messiah - he is denying the Father and the Son. 23 Everyone who denies the Son is also without the Father, but the person who acknowledges the Son has the Father as well. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will also remain in union with both the Son and the Father. 25 And this is what he has promised us: eternal life. Galatians 1:8-10 Complete Jewish Bible 8 But even if we - or, for that matter, an angel from heaven! - were to announce to you some so-called “Good News” contrary to the Good News we did announce to you, let him be under a curse forever! 9 We said it before, and I say it again: if anyone announces “Good News” contrary to what you received, let him be under a curse forever! 10 Now does that sound as if I were trying to win human approval? No! I want God’s approval! Or that I’m trying to cater to people? If I were still doing that, I would not be a servant of the Messiah. Matthew 27:50-56 Complete Jewish Bible 50 But Yeshua, again crying out in a loud voice, yielded up his spirit. 51 At that moment the parokhet in the Temple was ripped in two from top to bottom; and there was an earthquake, with rocks splitting apart. 52 Also the graves were opened, and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life; 53 and after Yeshua rose, they came out of the graves and went into the holy city, where many people saw them. 54 When the Roman officer and those with him who were keeping watch over Yeshua saw the earthquake and what was happening, they were awestruck and said, “He really was a son of God.” 55 There were many women there, looking on from a distance; they had followed Yeshua from the Galil, helping him. 56 Among them were Miryam from Magdala, Miryam the mother of Ya‘akov and Yosef, and the mother of Zavdai’s sons. John 14:1-13 Complete Jewish Bible 14 “Don’t let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t, I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with me; so that where I am, you may be also. 4 Furthermore, you know where I’m going; and you know the way there.” 5 T’oma said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you’re going; so how can we know the way?” 6 Yeshua said, “I AM the Way - and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me. 7 Because you have known me, you will also know my Father; from now on, you do know him - in fact, you have seen him.” 8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it will be enough for us.” 9 Yeshua replied to him, “Have I been with you so long without your knowing me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am united with the Father, and the Father united with me? What I am telling you, I am not saying on my own initiative; the Father living in me is doing his own works. 11 Trust me, that I am united with the Father, and the Father united with me. But if you can’t, then trust because of the works themselves. 12 Yes, indeed! I tell you that whoever trusts in me will also do the works I do! Indeed, he will do greater ones, because I am going to the Father. 13 In fact, whatever you ask for in my name, I will do; so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 6:44 Complete Jewish Bible 44 No one can come to me unless the Father - the One who sent me - draws him. And I will raise him up on the Last Day.
Muhammad’s miracles come centuries later in Hadiths, just about the time Christians were asking for Miracles (Mo was also a strong military leader), it’s not really a surprise we would find some sources on miracles in Hadiths. 1. Water out of fingers 2. Moon splitting The Indian king that saw the “moon split” is a known hoax. The Quran itself makes mention multiple times of Mo not coming with miracles, and then something hundreds of years later says he did perform them? If the moon did physically split, then people on the other sides of the world would see it, regardless of the time. Many ancient cultures recorded the sky heavily, and even still, people would have been up somewhere, to see it, it’s not going to be so dark people don’t see anything, and there are going to be people not asleep, on guard duty for example, and it would be written down. I guess it could be something similar to Fatima, but there’s no good evidence of it. That’s the problem, there needs to be strong evidence a miracle occurred. Compare this with Christian Miracles like the Fatima Miracle of the Sun, which occurred during the WW1 Period so we have witness accounts, newspapers, etc, that record the Miracle, so much so, that we know this was a true historical event. Tens of thousands of people saw the sun appear to “dance around”, and “zig zag” in the sky within broken clouds. The sun also appeared to fall towards the earth, so that the crowd trampled each other fleeing in terror. The sun did not hurt their eyes, and the Miracle lasted 10 minutes. It was raining for hours until the Miracle, the ground was also dry after the miracle.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, _"Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have been given, is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection."_ Source: _Sahih al-Bukhari 4981_ | Grade: _Sahih (Authentic)_ No doubt, the greatest miracle that was given to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the Quran. However, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was given many other miracles as well. For example: _moon splitting, prophecies, invisibility, Al-Isra' wal-Mi'raj, etc..._ May Allah ﷻ keep us steadfast. Ameen
Interesting in the same chapter of the miracle of the moon in Q 54:43-45 it specifically gives a warning that the contemporary disbelievers aren't exempted from punishments given to previous nations and it would be in a military defeat. Meaning that according to the chapter the theme that every prophet had of [ sign ( sent as warning ) > punishment > victory ] will continue with prophet Muhammad himself. So therefore Sura 54 is definitely affirming that the splitting of the moon was a miracle for prophet Muhammad I must add that Q 17:59 affirms Sura 54 that miracles are sent as warning and in Sura 54 it literary draws comparison between the disbelievers dismissing the spliting of the moon as magic (i.e dismissing the warning) just like the previous generations of disbelievers did to their prophets, and they in Q 54:43-45 will be given a punishment just like those who rejected before them did. This is an evidence that the Quran makes the claim that prophet Muhammad did miracles, and if the Quran goes back to the lifetime of the prophet (according to all the critical scholarship) therefore we have a contemporary historical account for a miracle while the Christians do not.
Your argument is in essence, book says guy did thing, there fore he did. Despite no one else across planet earth witnessing the literal moon splitting in half. Think that's something somebody would've wrote down besides muhammad.

What's really amazing is the context of the verse in Surah Al-Anam:37 that David quoted. I'll take this a bit back so we can really digest what Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ says in this noble chapter, I would of course advise reading the entire chapter with its Tafsir to really appreciate it. And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over the denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words [i.e., decrees] of Allāh. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers. And if their evasion is difficult for you, then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign, [then do so]. But if Allāh had willed, He would have united them upon guidance. So never be of the ignorant. (35) So we see here Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ comforting his Messenger ﷺ that what he is experiencing isn't something new and that the Prophets before experienced similar from their nations. Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allāh will resurrect them; then to Him they will be returned.(36) Then comes the verse quoted, And they say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "Indeed, Allāh is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know." (37) What's amazing are the verses that come after the one quoted, And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register1 a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. (38) Here Allah تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ mentions one of his signs which are clear for all to see. But the issue isn't with sight rather it is with the hearts which is why Allah تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ says after this verse. But those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb within darknesses. Whomever Allāh wills - He sends astray; and whomever He wills - He puts him on a straight path. (39) To put it simply Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى 's Signs are everywhere, and the issue is with the individual who observes them. A Muslim and a Non-Muslim both wake up to the same sun above their heads however the Muslim sees this as one of the great signs of Allah and a proof of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ 's power and ability. The Non-Muslim just sees the sun and nothing more. So have they not travelled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts. (Surah Al-Hajj Verse 46) Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ establishes the fact that these people will not believe not matter how amazing the sign presented to them may be. These clowns are a living example of this verse as are those of their ilk.

@@saqibsaleel9196 are jou’talking about your’prophet? You know the Sax slaves the rapper the young people. Banzai boys.,is this, familiar to you and your religion.,wonder why?,
I Agree with you. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had miracles. That's exactly why they called the prophet a magician. People like David Wood are just so biased that they can't understand straight forward passages. Thank you so much for making this!
QURAN is the biggest miracle of human history and if Allah SWT bless you its true understanding you can see Miracles all arround you. Even the mention of Mosquito is a miracle since we know a bit details about this tiny creature now. So the Prophet Muhammad PBUB was not given temporary miracle which just remains effective for a short time period but He was blessed with QURAN, the MIRACLE that will remain relevant and effective for all times till judgment day. Jazak Allah Kher
The Quran is accepted by all the critical scholarship to go back to the prophet's lifetime and in Q 54:1-6 you have the splitting of the Moon and it also records the enemy attestation to it by calling it "magic": Q 54:1-2 *The* *Hour* *has* *come* *near,* *and* *the* *moon* *has* *split* *[in* *two].* *And* *if* *they* *see* *a* *sign* *[i.e.,* *miracle],* *they* *turn* *away* *and* *say,* *"Passing* *magic."* In other chapters The prophet is accused of being a magician for example Q 38:4 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] from among themselves. And *the* *disbelievers* *say,* *"This* *is* *a* *magician* and a liar. So why are they accusing the prophet of magic if he "wasn't doing anything" ?
Add to it the fact that ayah 6 commands the prophet to turn away from them. And who will he turn away from other than the meccans of his time who he was confronting?
@@cowdyayaad6378 Yeah I'd add to that in Q 54:43-45 it specifically gives a warning that the contemporary disbelievers aren't exempted from punishments given to previous nations and it would be in a military defeat. Meaning that according to the chapter the theme that every prophet had of [ sign ( sent as warning ) > punishment > victory ] will continue with prophet Muhammad himself. So therefore Sura 54 is definitely affirming that the splitting of the moon was a miracle for prophet Muhammad
1:35 - "You can't use Hadith to in order to prove that prophet Muhammad perform miracles" Of course we can use the Hadith to prove that Muhammad perform miracles, such as prophetic miracles ! But we can also use the Quran itself to see with our very own eyes the miracles ! We just need to do all the TESTING by ourselves too !
David is reading a passage OF THE QURAN about the disbelievers asking for signs, ignoring the fact that the Quran ITSELF IS A MIRACLE so he's using a Miracle to disprove a miracle lol
The verses are not similar. In Quran 6:37 the people are saying Muhammad did no miracle, but in Mark 8:11-12 they do not say this. They acknowledge Jesus can do them but Jesus says no.
@@Just-One-God the immediate context does. Jesus has just fed 5000 people (Mark 8:1-10) and then the Pharisees ask him for a miracle 8:11-12. No one was saying that Jesus cannot do miracles. This is not the situation in the Qur'an where they were saying that Muhammad did not do miracles. Show me the verse in the Bible where people say "Jesus did no miracles"?
@@SamuelGreen-AU Now you're talking about context. I can also say the same that within a context, the Arabs were also shown with miracle when they witnessed the Moon splitted in two: _"The Hour has drawn near and the Moon was split in two._ _Yet whenever they see the sign, they turn their back away and say, ‘This is nothing but magic.’"_ *_(Al-Qamar [54]:1-2)_*
@@Just-One-God it's not the same and ofcourse his talking about context, context is important. The passage you are quoting in the Qur'an regarding a moon 1. Does not say Mohammed split the moon. 2. It's "If" it's not saying a sign was given 3. They are 13 verse in Qur'an in chronological order after sorah 54, which say Mohammed performed no mirecals. Please provide a verse from the Qur'an that actually state that Mohammed did a Miracle himself? That would help with the confusion. Thank you
The problem with David is that he knows his fan base are mostly ignorant if not all and they don't bother double checking the facts or even interested in the scholarly response from Muslims. I can't really believe that David just don't know that Qur'an was revealed over a period of time. And this Fadi guy is another member of the council of CP's student.
if we analyse the miracles prophet Isa AS performed (by Allah's will) could in all probability was good and appropriate for that era . If we however look at Mogammd's pbuh miracles it is beneficial for mankind since 1400 years ago and will remain so until eternity. Such is the wisdom of Allah Almighty when He revealed the Quran to the greatest man ever !!! People today is as excited to read and benefit from reading the Quran as they were when it was revealed Alhamdulillah ! How many unbelievers didnt revert to Islam by reading the Quran and how many of us had our Emaan increased by reading and reciting the Holy Book . This is one reason why Allah mentions him as the "Rahmatullil alameen " THE MERCY UNTO MANKIND" Alhamdulillah for the miracle of all miracles which Mogammad calls hes "standing miracle"
To me, the passage regarding moon split in surah Qamar does seem to be talking about meccans of the prophet's (pbuh) time instead of some past or future event. That's because ayah 2 talks about people turning away from a sign in singular (moon split from the context) if they see it and they call it magic (and they would only call it magic if they did see it). And then later in ayah 6 regarding these people, the Prophet is told "so, turn away from them" (which indicates that they did see it). And the people he can turn away from are the ones he were confronting (meccans of his time).
According to Tabari, the verse on 7:14 is talking about the jews from a few thousand years ago and not the people on Muhammad's (peace be upon him) time.
The same tabari in various other verses affirm miracles. And farid's interpretation makes more sense since the people mentioned here were asking for signs that prove Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a prophet (because according to the same tabari these are christians who already believe in miracles whereas the verse is indicating only those certain in faith believe the miracles). Those previous signs has no relation to whether Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself is a prophet or not.

9:33 Syed Abul A'la al-Maududi has reconciled the conflicting traditions about Surah 44:10-16 in his Tafsir Tafheem Ul Qur'an: *The commentators have seriously disputed the meaning of these verses, and the difference of opinion existed even in the time of the companions. Masruq, the well-known student of Abdullah bin Masud, states: One day when we entered the mosque of Kufah, we saw a preacher addressing the people. He recited the verse: Yauma tatissama- u bidukhan-im-mubin, then asked: Do you know what kind of smoke it is? This smoke will appear on the Day of Resurrection and will make the disbelievers and the hypocrites blind and deaf, but the believers will be affected only to the extent as if they had caught cold. Hearing this commentary we went to Abdullah bin Masud and reported to him what the preacher had said. Abdullah at that time was lying down. On hearing this commentary he sat up startled and said: When a person does not have the knowledge, he should ask those who have it. The fact is that when the people of the Quraish went on refusing to accept Islam and continued to oppose the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed: O God, help me with a famine like the famine of Joseph (peace be upon him); consequently, a very severe famine overtook Makkah and the people were forced to eat bones, skins and carrion. The conditions became so bad that whoever looked up to the sky would see nothing but smoke due to intensity of hunger. At last, Abu Sufyan came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: You tell the people to treat their kindred kindly, your own people are starving, kindly pray to God to remove this calamity. This was the time when the people of the Quraish had started saying: O God, if You remove this torment from us, we will believe. This same event has been referred to in these verses; and the severest blow implies the calamity that was inflicted on the Quraish in the Battle of Badr. This tradition has been related by Imam Ahmad, Bukhari Tirmidhi, Nasai, Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim from Masruq with several chains of authorities. Besides Masruq, Ibrahim Nakhai Qatadah, Asim and Amir have also related that Abdullah bin Masud had given the same commentary of this verse. Therefore there cannot be any doubt that Ibn Masud actually held this same opinion. Among the immediate followers of the companions, Mujahid, Qatadah. Abul Aliyah, Muqatil, Ibrahim Nakhai, Dahhak and Atiyyah al-Aufi and others have also concurred with Ibn Masud in this commentary.* *On the contrary, scholars like Ali, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Abu Saeed Khudri, Zaid bin Ali, and Hasan Basri say that in these verses mention has been made of the time just before Resurrection, and the smoke that has been foretold will envelop the earth at that time. This commentary is further strengthened by the traditions that have been reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him). Hudhaifah bin Asid al-Ghifari says: One day when we were talking about Resurrection, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came out to us and said: Resurrection will not be established till ten signs have appeared one after the other: Rising of the sun in the west, smoke, the beast, emergence of Gog and Magog, descent of Jesus son of Mary, sinking of the earth in the East, in the West and in the Arabian Peninsula, and the appearance of a fire from Yemen, which will drive the people away. (Muslim) This is confirmed by Abu Malik Ashari’s tradition which has been related by Ibn Jarir and Tabarani, and Abu Said Khudri’s tradition which has been related by Ibn Abi Hatim. Both these traditions show that the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarded the smoke as one of the signs of Resurrection and also said that when that smoke will spread, it will affect the believer only like a cold, but will infuse every nerve of the disbeliever and come out from every part of his body.* *A study of the verses under consideration can remove the disparity between the two commentaries. As for the commentary of Abdullah bin Masud, it is a fact that a severe famine had hit Makkah resulting from the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) prayer and it had unnerved the disbelievers considerably and they had requested the Prophet (peace be upon him) to pray for its removal, as referred to at several places in the Quran. (See (Surah Al- Anaam, Ayat 43); (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayats 94-95); (Surah Younus, Ayat 21); (Surah Al-Muminun, Ayats 75-77) and the corresponding E.Ns). In these verses also there is a clear pointer to the same conditions. The disbeliever are saying: Our Lord, remove this torment from us, we will believe. Allah is saying: How can they rid themselves of their heedlessness? Even when a manifest Messenger came to them, they paid no heed to him, and said: He is a madman taught by others. Then Allah is saying: Were We to remove the torment a little, you would revert to the same that you were doing before. All this can be relevant only if it refers to the conditions of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) time. To apply them to what will happen near the time of Resurrection, is not correct. Therefore, in view of this, Abdullah bin Masud’s commentary seems to be correct, but its this part that “the smoke” also had appeared in that very time, in that when the people in their extreme state of hunger looked up to the sky, they could see nothing but smoke, does not seem to be correct. It also does not conform to the apparent words of the Quran and is against the traditions as well. The Quran does not say: The sky brought forth the smoke and it spread over the people; but it says: Wait for the day when the sky will appear with a visible smoke, and it will envelop mankind. A study of the subsequent verses clearly points to this meaning: When you do not believe even after the Messenger’s admonition, nor take heed from the warning given in the shape of the famine, then you should wait for Resurrection. At that time when you see your doom confronting you, you will fully realize what was the truth and what was falsehood. Therefore, as for the smoke, the correct view is that it has nothing to do with the time of the famine, but it is a sign of Resurrection and the same is also confirmed by the Hadith.*

8:46 Although according to Arabic usage it is possible to take this verse in future tense, the context clearly rejects it. In the first place, if this were the meaning, the first sentence would become meaningless. If the moon had not actually split at the time when this revelation was made, but it was going to split some time in the future, it would be absurd to say on the basis of this that the Hour of Resurrection had approached near at hand. After all, how can an incident that is to take place in the future, be regarded as a sign of Resurrection’s being near at hand, and how can such a testimony be put forward as a rational argument? Second, with this meaning in mind when we read the following verses, they appear to be altogether incoherent. The verses that follow clearly show that the people at that time had witnessed a sign that was a manifest portent of the possibility of Resurrection, but they rejected it as a magical illusion, and persisted in their belief that Resurrection was not possible. In this context, the words inshaqq-al-Qamar can be meaningful only if they are taken to mean: The moon split asunder. If they are taken to mean: The moon will split asunder, the entire following theme becomes disjointed. It will look like this: The Hour of Resurrection has drawn near and the moon will split asunder. Yet whatever sign these people may see, they turn away and say: This is current magic! They have denied and followed only their own lusts. Therefore, the truth is that the incident of the splitting of the moon is confirmed explicitly by the words of the Quran and it is not dependent upon the traditions of the Hadith.
Isn't the quran itself the greatest miracle. Those guys are looking at it with their own eyes and still rejecting it despite not meeting its challenge.
@@delmanorshun2471 This idea that Quran is the sole miracle became more prevelant recently. The reason is for some reason many muslims feel insecure about affirming miracles since it supposedly goes against science. But classically it was well accepted among muslims that the Prophet (pbuh) had many miracles. Any tafsir you read will affirm that.
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Excellent, Subhanallah. We need more clarification done, otherwise, a lot of people believe whatever, even Muslims sadly believe weird stuff sometimes, it's actually a fantastic practice to document differences of opinions. So we can actually see the arguments and be logical about it. I got weird translations from anti-islam gang saying Allah says in the Quran he's the "best deceiver" They argue the word "planner" or "schemer" in its root form means "deceive" "maaker" (they write it like this) I know they won't stop making stuff up... and if it's not a confusion already there, they will make new stuff up. But anyways it's good to know, if you can refute this linguistically that would be cool, I told the person that the word used in Quran means planner and even Google Translate agrees... and the root meaning isn't always the full word meaning... But if you got a more in-depth explanation that would be nice. Assalamu Alaikum.

@@M7md-3la2 I see what you're saying but you don't understand the whole discussion. David Wood and Co are questioning why the Quran does not mention miracles being performed by Prophet Mohammed whereas the Gospels do. So comparison should be between the 2 scriptures, ie Gospels and Quran. But Farid knows that Quran never mentions any miracles like what Prophet Jesus did hence he is avoiding that and instead referring to the hadiths since that's where some strange miracles are mentioned which are most likely to be made up. Farid is arguing that since hadiths are reliable (which is not true) they are better evidence than the Gospels since we don't know who wrote them. Farid wrongly mentions the night journey. He should not have mentioned this because it was only seen by Prophet Mohammed. If this was seen by a mass of people and mentioned in the Quran then David Wood and Co would have no argument. Hope that clarifies. Short story is that we don't need miracles to be performed since Quran is enough and we should use our intellect.
@@samfromuk796 1-firstly, you are not a Muslim because you deny the Hadiths. 2-if we combine the miracles that are mentioned in the hadiths and the quran for Prophet Muhammad then they are more and much greater than the miracles that are mentioned for jesus in the Quran and the gospels. 3-the quran dosent mention that the night journey wasn't saw by anyone expect Prophet Muhammad or that it atleast can't be evidenced to other people in that era, in fact, if you read sahih muslim then you will know that the Prophet told the Pagans of Mecca about things that no can know expect who travelled to Jerusalem in that specific time.

22 Who is a liar at all, if not the person who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? Such a person is an anti-Messiah - he is denying the Father and the Son. 23 Everyone who denies the Son is also without the Father, but the person who acknowledges the Son has the Father as well. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will also remain in union with both the Son and the Father. 25 And this is what he has promised us: eternal life.

10 Now does that sound as if I were trying to win human approval? No! I want God’s approval! Or that I’m trying to cater to people? If I were still doing that, I would not be a servant of the Messiah.

55 There were many women there, looking on from a distance; they had followed Yeshua from the Galil, helping him. 56 Among them were Miryam from Magdala, Miryam the mother of Ya‘akov and Yosef, and the mother of Zavdai’s sons.

Muhammad’s miracles come centuries later in Hadiths, just about the time Christians were asking for Miracles (Mo was also a strong military leader), it’s not really a surprise we would find some sources on miracles in Hadiths.
1. Water out of fingers
2. Moon splitting
The Indian king that saw the “moon split” is a known hoax.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, _"Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have been given, is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection."_

So therefore Sura 54 is definitely affirming that the splitting of the moon was a miracle for prophet Muhammad
I must add that Q 17:59 affirms Sura 54 that miracles are sent as warning and in Sura 54 it literary draws comparison between the disbelievers dismissing the spliting of the moon as magic (i.e dismissing the warning) just like the previous generations of disbelievers did to their prophets, and they in Q 54:43-45 will be given a punishment just like those who rejected before them did.

And if their evasion is difficult for you, then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign, [then do so]. But if Allāh had willed, He would have united them upon guidance. So never be of the ignorant. (35)
So we see here Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ comforting his Messenger ﷺ that what he is experiencing isn't something new and that the Prophets before experienced similar from their nations. Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ then continues,
Only those who hear will respond. But the dead - Allāh will resurrect them; then to Him they will be returned.(36)
Then comes the verse quoted,
And they say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "Indeed, Allāh is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know." (37)
What's amazing are the verses that come after the one quoted,
And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register1 a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. (38)
Here Allah تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ mentions one of his signs which are clear for all to see.
To put it simply Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى 's Signs are everywhere, and the issue is with the individual who observes them.
(Surah Al-Hajj Verse 46)
Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ establishes the fact that these people will not believe not matter how amazing the sign presented to them may be.
These clowns are a living example of this verse as are those of their ilk.

The Quran is accepted by all the critical scholarship to go back to the prophet's lifetime and in Q 54:1-6 you have the splitting of the Moon and it also records the enemy attestation to it by calling it "magic":
Q 54:1-2 *The* *Hour* *has* *come* *near,* *and* *the* *moon* *has* *split* *[in* *two].* *And* *if* *they* *see* *a* *sign* *[i.e.,* *miracle],* *they* *turn* *away* *and* *say,* *"Passing* *magic."*
In other chapters The prophet is accused of being a magician for example
Q 38:4 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] from among themselves. And *the* *disbelievers* *say,* *"This* *is* *a* *magician* and a liar.
So why are they accusing the prophet of magic if he "wasn't doing anything" ?
Also: "And *whenever they see a sign, they make fun of it, saying, 'This is nothing but pure magic.* " Quran 37: 14-15

2. It's "If" it's not saying a sign was given
3. They are 13 verse in Qur'an in chronological order after sorah 54, which say Mohammed performed no mirecals.
Please provide a verse from the Qur'an that actually state that Mohammed did a Miracle himself? That would help with the confusion.

The moon splitting is a sign of the hour, the verse is speaking of a future event.

9:33 Syed Abul A'la al-Maududi has reconciled the conflicting traditions about Surah 44:10-16 in his Tafsir Tafheem Ul Qur'an:
*The commentators have seriously disputed the meaning of these verses, and the difference of opinion existed even in the time of the companions. Abul Aliyah, Muqatil, Ibrahim Nakhai, Dahhak and Atiyyah al-Aufi and others have also concurred with Ibn Masud in this commentary.*
*On the contrary, scholars like Ali, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Abu Saeed Khudri, Zaid bin Ali, and Hasan Basri say that in these verses mention has been made of the time just before Resurrection, and the smoke that has been foretold will envelop the earth at that time. Both these traditions show that the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarded the smoke as one of the signs of Resurrection and also said that when that smoke will spread, it will affect the believer only like a cold, but will infuse every nerve of the disbeliever and come out from every part of his body.*
*A study of the verses under consideration can remove the disparity between the two commentaries. Therefore, as for the smoke, the correct view is that it has nothing to do with the time of the famine, but it is a sign of Resurrection and the same is also confirmed by the Hadith.*
thanks.

It will look like this:
The Hour of Resurrection has drawn near and the moon will split asunder.
