Can’t wait to hear your account on Enoch Brown and the schoolhouse event. My family was evolved with the happenings of that tragedy. The Poe family and the Potter family.

I was wondering if you would make it over to my neck of the woods/shores by Lake Erie, happy to hear you will be!
For future reference LeBoeuf is pronounced "LeBuff", and it's French for beef.
Waterford is the town where I work and was where the fort was located. It's very rich in history and I'm sure you'll find lots of fodder for your videos. I'll see if I can muster up some pamphlets to send to you.
Keep on exploring, you're inspiring lots of people to get outdoors! 😊 🥾

Your video made me curious about my ancestor wondering if he participated in the French and Indian War. My ancestor was Rudolph Loughner. He bought Bush Creek Farm in 1806. My notes have him participating in the Revolutionary War? I guess I need to check the dates. You are a great teacher, Cliff. You awaken curiosity.

Some areas of Berks County got 5 inches of much needed rain a few days ago. My water supply Co. in fact, had just asked all, in an email, to conserve. This is so interesting, I love history. Good or bad the Pontiac line of GM cars was named after Chief Pontiac. I had a 50's model and the hood ornament was his head/face that lit up amber. In a way the vehicle kept his name alive so that's a good thing I think.

    Cliff,
The only "good" that came from Pontiac's War , it seems, was to keep Britain from over running the Eastern tribes completely for a while.
That contempt shown by General Amherst, toward the natives was a major contributor to this conflict.
I wonder what would have happened if the French live and let live attitude had somehow prevailed?
Right now I'm halfway through listening to Rick Atkinsons' "The British Are Coming",
Just like The French and Indian and Pontiac's War, nothing before and during The Revolution
was simplistic or straightforward, so many things going on in so many areas, I am amazed we succeeded in becoming a nation.
Reading about and listening to this book made me realize that only with time can we understand what conflicts were truly minor or major.
You do such a professional job of describing the main issues of these periods of history.
    Thanks',
    Rik Spector

Bushy Run battlefield is practically in my sons backyard. He can hear the guns when they do the reenactment, which is Aug. 5 and 6 this year. I went to one a few years ago and it was fantastic. At least I thought it was. You should go to it if possible. I think it was like 5,maybe 10 dollars to get in,but worth it. You also get to see the museum. Can't wait for the videos as that war is my favorite after the Civil War. Wasnt Gage in the Revolutionary War,too?

I just seen your new video you just put out wondering woodsman; I just watched after your new video you just put out and seen afterwards your new video the Pontiacs War. The Pontiacs War is a French and Indian War video. I seen a part of the video you mentioned about you know Pontiac is by the Great Lakes. Pontiac Wondering woodsman is in my State which is Michigan. Pontiac is close by Detroit. Detroit also Pontiac is by Lake Huron which is the East side of Michigan. West side of Michigan is Lake Michigan. I just thought you may wanted to know where Pontiac is in what state.
